ENYO

Enyo knocked on Ro'kun's door. "Ro? I need you to watch Shayla for me. I have missions to do." There was no answer. Irritated with her two year old she grabbed her little hand. "Come on Shayla, let's go find Auntie Shiver." They walked around the corner and down the hall to Shiver's room and knocked on the door. "Shiv! Are you in there I need your help."

Shiver and Ro'kun were still in bed but Shiver heard Enyo knocking and she got up and put her robe on to answer the door. She closed the bedroom door on her way into her living room. She opened her door and let them into the living room. "Hey I need to go on missions and I can't find Ro'kun to watch her for me could you do it?"

Enyo looked at her oddly. "Why are you in a bathrobe in the middle of the day?" She noticed that Shiver looked uncomfortable. Enyo looked around the room and noticed Ro'kun's shoe on the floor. Enyo's face took on a stony expression.

"You BITCH! You couldn't leave him alone could you? What gives you the right to just walk in and take him like that?" By this time Enyo is screaming at her and Shayla is upset. "It's not like we planned it. Enyo you yourself said it wasn't working and you knew how I felt when you started dating him. We love each other and ..." It was at this point that things became scary.

Shayla looked up at her mommy who was mad at Auntie Shiver. She had started to cry and she raised her hand at Shiver and Shiver started gasping for air. Her lungs were deteriorating fast and the tumors were popping up in her lungs. Shayla had given her stage 4 lung cancer. Shiver collapsed to the ground and her breathing became labored and shallow.

Enyo looked at her daughter who was still inflicting disease on her and she grabbed her arm and said "NO Shayla!"
Shayla began to cry. Enyo checked Shiver's pulse and breathing. She hit her comlink and said "Wicked! Shiver is dying!"

Cal heard the call from Enyo through his com and ran up. His suit on he paused. Seeing shiver In a bathrobe. The realization hurt. The helmet went down and there was a hardness in his eyes that had never been there before he looked at Enyo. "Let me try" he crouched to look at shyala. "Hey. It's okay to be upset that your mom is upset. It's not okay to hurt someone like that."

He looked up at Enyo then back at her daughter. "Sometimes people hurt each other...but you have to learn to be strong enough not to hurt them back. Do you think you can make shiver better?" he stood and looked at Enyo. "Where's wicked...worst case I can run her to her" as in if the kid didn't stop or she didn't or wasn't able to fix it. It was clear he was hurt and who knows what he will do after he helps shiver....heck even his hair seemed darker in color and his usual smile was long gone.

Omega shrugged and noticed that Colton had a comlink and room key card.

"Alright now that you said yes, I can dive into next short brief. Follow me." Omega exited the room with Colton following. "By the way, I'm Omega, one of the two team leaders of the team. I'd say I'm on the lowest peg when it comes to your leadership here. Wicked is the other team leader currently, but also the founder. Her daughter Shiver might reclaim that team leader slot, just don't put too much thought into it. Cambria higher up on the food chain, but since she's knocked up, her husband is filling in as the face of our organization. Those two aren't here, but they drop in from time to time. The hierarchy is kinda weird, but just answer to Wicked and I for the time being." Omega said this as the two entered the living quarters. "You'll be placed in one of these rooms, which ever number is on your card key. Once you use your card k, I recommend setting up the palm scanner so you can ditch the card.... Damn there's a bit to cover." Omega said as he stopped at Colton's room. "This should be it. You have living room area, a bedroom with a walk-in closet, a television, and a bathroom. It's a suite pretty much. If you want to work out or train, there's a gym up stairs on the fourth floor and there's an outside training area behind the facility. If you ask me, up stairs is better. There's a simulation room and you can't beat that... Oh and there's the lounge at the entrance of the building, a garage down the hall for vehicles either privately or company owned. As far as other mission based areas go, our R&D is located on the fifth and sixth floor and we have a medical wing which is a building over. Other than that there's a store by the gym where you can get pretty much anything, plus it's free." Omega said this all while trying to figure out if he missed anything. "Stretch your legs and make yourself at home. I'll keep you off of the mission roster for a bit so you can relax, but feel free to piggyback on someone else's missions. Now is there anything else you need or have questions on?" Omega asked before hearing Enyo yelling. "Oh and be prepared for some in house drama from time to time."

Red Strike (Ro'Kun)

"Shiv!" Ro'Kun yelled, running in and skidding across the floor before lifting Shiver up. "What the- Shayla! STOP." he yelled. He might not have the same relationship with Enyo as he used to, but he'd hung out with Shayla enough for her to be at least a neice if not a daughter figure. "We gotta find a healer, Enyo." He didn't know what to do. All he did was kick ass and eat sandwiches. He looked to Cal, and realized that this was getting pretty awkward. Well, they couldn't focus on that at the moment.

Wicked ran across the compound and down the halls and straight into her daughter's room. She saw everyone there and noticed two boyfriends. Wicked started healing her daughter. She asked what happened. Enyo told her about the fight the girls were having and Shayla getting upset and what she did. Wicked turned to the child and negated her powers. She looked back at her daughter who's color was starting to return. Shiver woke up coughing and trying to catch her breath. Ro'kun was holding her and she asked "What did she do to me?"

Wicked Frost looked at the group and then at the baby. Wicked laid her hands on the child to see if there was some healing she could do for her and instead she saw something horrifying. She pulled her hand back like she had been burnt. She left the room and called Enyo into the hall. "That child must leave immediately. She needs to go back to your realm or her father's. Her morality is flipped and she has no conscious. Considering her power, she is deadly like no other for her age. You may come back but she must go, now." Wicked hugged Enyo. "You are like another daughter to me and this hurts me to do this but that child has more of her father than you. She is evil."

Baby Death

Enyo looked at her sweet looking daughter and her shoulders slumped. "I know." She nodded and grabbed Shayla's hand and bent down and picked her up. "Shiver, I love you and you know...I didn't mean it, any of it. I want you to be happy. I guess it just surprised me." Shiver was sitting up and had grabbed a blanket to cover her legs.

Enyo took her daughter an shimmered out. Wicked Frost came back in and told Shiver. "She gave you end stage level 4 lung cancer. You had only a couple more minutes or you would have died." The silence was complete and Wicked said "I went to heal the child in hopes that it was something I could help with. The child is powerful, she has very deadly powers and her morality is flipped and she has no conscious at all so it is not something that can be fixed. She cried because she loves her mother and didn't understand why she was upset. I told Enyo to take her to her realm or her father's but she can't stay in ours."

Shiver was still shaken up and she needed rest. Wicked made her get up and she helped her back to bed. This left Cal and Ro'kun in the same room.

It was all over quickly. Cal sighed as he saw that shiver would be okay...he hated how he felt. His chest felt sore as he made his way to a couch and sunk into it. His head down. For the first time he felt a wall go up. He would not let himself get hurt again...he learned his lesson.

In his current state, he did not even notice Ro'Kun in the same room. Either that or he simply didn't care. He felt used...as if he had only had that relationship so shiver could be in one while pining for Ro'Kun. He mentally scolded himself for not seeing the signs sooner. Heck she left without saying anything then continued to not say anything for six months. His thoughts continued to travel through random thoughts while outwardly he seemed...distant. A complete change from the happy go lucky cal that would trip on everything.

Ro'Kun was more glad than anything that Shiver was going to be ok but...he looked at Cal and slumped down. He really wasn't used to get this kind of shit. This was why he didn't get involved in a lot of stuff, to avoid these situations. But...this was love. "Hey Cal." he said aloud. "If it'll make you feel better, you can hit me a lot." He was a fighter, it was all he knew how to let Cal feel better. @BlackPanther

Cal looked up at Ro'Kun and tilted his head. "While hitting you would be satisfying...it wouldn't help. You both hurt me...but this isn't a physical pain. This is worse." he stood and shook his head. "this is worse...though I will say she hurt me far more then you did" he crossed his arms. "So, no I'm not going to hit you. I'm just going to walk away and hope that at least she doesn't hurt you like she did me." with that he turned and started to walk away. He hit the com link. "Any missions that are open toss them my way. If I'm needed I'll be in the gym"

Hurt was still very audible in his voice...along with a different tone. A tone of someone who maybe wasn't going to be so puppy like. The innocence that had surrounded him was even gone. "Happy birthday to me" was barely audible as he walked. He was 21 today.l and yet he felt so much older. He had never told the team (though some figured out the date) his birthday...figuring that every day he was lucky to be a part of it. Now a part of him missed his family...well...his adoptive family so to speak.

Zoe was on her way to get something to eat. Kicking names and taking ass can wear a girl out. A good day's fighting and saving the world in her own way, she needed some refueling. She heard some yelling and screaming but didn't really pay it any mind for the fact that it had nothing to do with her. Walking down the hall wondering when she will get to whoop someone's ass again, she caught a glimpse of Cal looking down and saddened, causing her to raise an eyebrow. She at first, was going to ignore him but...Tito told her she needs to work on her social skills.

Sighing, she turned and headed over to him "Cally-Boy....what's wrong, man? Is there someone's ass I need to kick for you? Sexual frustration? What is it, tell mama what's got you down. I will pull their spine out their ass...." she offered.

Cal was in the doorway. He hadn't realized he was spotted by Zoe until she spoke. He looked up and chilled somewhat at the comment, but it didn't hold any real energy like it used to. He moved out of the doorway and shut the door before letting himself fully loose it. He slumped as he spoke. "When shiver left it hurt...but I thought maybe she'd say something...and I still had some hope that we were still together" he looked at Zoe his eyes filling up with emotion. "She never said that we were over...she just left...and now she came back...and I didn't want to fully forgive her....and now.." he inhaled. "Now she's with Ro'Kun...just....hurts" he looked down. "I should've known"

Wicked walked out of Shiver's bedroom and she saw Cal leaving and Ro'kun standing there still worried about Shiver. Wicked thought to herself and remembered the Ro'kun that Shiver had known for years. She looked at him and smiled a little.

"She said you are moving in here with her? I know you love each other but it would have been better to break all ties fully before landing in bed together. I say this from experience I'm not criticizing. I must say, it's about time you both realized at the same time how you feel." Wicked hugged him. "She is ok but she is asking for you. I'll give your mission tonight to someone else. Baby Death will not be allowed back in the HQ."

Wicked walked off and she went into the office and created a new file on Shayla. She labelled it "Shayla AKA Baby Death. She put in current photos and all of the child's history so far.

Shiver called out "Ro'kun?" When he appeared she took in his appearance. Pants and bare feet. "Oh good lord," she groaned. "How was Cal? I didn't want to hurt him. Well, I guess this is the exact opposite of "not hurting him" and I didn't even get to talk to him. Now I am sure he will not likely talk to me unless he is forced to." She outstretched her arms to him. "I'm so glad you are here with me. Do you want to wait on moving things over or do you want to do it now?" She picked up the menu and ordered them lots of food.

Zoe had a blank stare, listening to Cal lament about what he just experienced regarding Shiver and Ro'Kun. She raised an eyebrow and sort of felt a bit of anger come up in her for the fact that those actions that Shiver and Ro'Kun pulled was not hero-like at all. Not that she sets a good standard herself but hurting your own teammate, it made Zoe feel some way. "Wait......I thought Ro'Kun was with Enyo? Are you telling me-.....*sigh* infidelity at it's finest....makes me wonder how Booty-licious Enyo is feeling about all of this......Cal...I'm not good with comforting someone but I'm sorry for what happened. Shiver and I never really seen eye to eye with other as she threatening me when I was an annoying punk kid 6 months ago."

She explained "But if she can just throw you away that easily without saying anything, maybe you're better off without her. Jeez...Ro'Kun managed to savor both Enyo's and Shiver's tacos? Yeah....it's best to stay away from them. And if Enyo offers to swallow your sausage, run the other way, you don't need that hell." Placing her hand on his shoulder "You're stronger and better than this dude..."

Cal listened and nodded. "That....that was actually really comforting" he gave a small chuckle at the part about avoiding Enyo for now then smiled at the end of her comforting and nodded again. "Thank you" He ran a hand through his hair and inhaled. "I definitly needed that...." he looked at the doorway for a second before looking away and motioning at Zoe to follow him. "I'm making cake....want some?" comfort food and birthday food all wrapped in frosting and sprinkles. "I don't know what flavor I'll make...hmm"

Blinking a few times "That actually worked?....damn....I guess it did.....no wait a sec, of course it did! Not a problem....guess I can get used to this...being the comfort queen." She said letting her ego surface even though she was surprised that she made someone feel better. Crossing her arms and feeling good about herself, she looked on at Cal once more when offering her and chance to make cake with him.

Zoe's mouth watered as her stomach growled and placed her palm on her belly. With a bright smile and excited look on her face, Zoe answered "Hell yeah I want some! You sure know how to treat a hungry gal! What female wouldn't like a guy like you!" She said with a wink. She proceeded to follow "I don't mind what flavor.... chocolate, red velvet, peanut butter cake, angel food cake....mixture....surprise me! probably angel-devil food peanutbutter cake! and- she stopped at the door "Wait....you're not taking this moment to find a way to get my "Glitter burger" by offering me my weakness of sweets are you?" She said looking skeptical because of what transpired before of Cal losing his girlfriend. Even though, being a bounce back girl would be intriguing, she didn't want to jump into something so quickly but then again.....she was being offered cake and will risk it.

"Cal was...ok considering." he told her, slipping his hands in his pockets. He'd need to take awhile to come to terms with actually being apart of something that hurt someone else. You know, other than his using his fists and feet or like, making a sick burn with his words. He decided to drown his sorrows by stuffing his face. "We can go ahead and move things in now." he said, and smiled to her. "By the way babe, sorry if I got some food on ya."

Cal chuckled as Zoe's ego inflated. He didn't even feel bad about inflating that ego...especially when he had meant it. He really did feel better...he was no where near 100%, but her words stuck in his brain and got him away from the cliff of depression.

Cal grinned as Zoe raked through flavors. "I'm thinking red velvet with a chocolate swirl and a glaze of some sort. Oh and sprinkles...definitly need sprinkles" he stopped walking when she did and tilted his head. His brain trying to register what she was talking about. "Your..what?" he blinked and the look of realization crossed his face as he shook his head. "No...no no. I wouldn't do that." he tilted his head. "I was just hoping we could hang out. Eat cake. That sort of thing." he rubbed the back of his neck and seemed to realize he was still in his upgraded suit. He raised up a finger for the hang on sign and sped off. He reappeared in casual clothes and put his hands in his pockets. "I did buy one of those homemade ice cream balls...the one that you're supposed to toss to people to make ice cream. Add ice cream to that cake or maybe root beer floats" he was rambling to try to avoid being awkward.

He gave a small smile and went to set up for cake making. He felt like Zoe was an awesome person...strong in the personality department...but he needed people around him who could smack him out of situations like the one he was in. That and right now...he really wanted to focus on having a semi good day of cake and ice cream making. "Need a taste tester...want to volunteer?"

After getting Colton to his room, Omega eventually returned to his office. Liz looked up from her work as he entered and smiled.

"Updates?" Omega asked as he approached his desk.

"Yes, actually Wicked just added a new file. Baby Death." Liz answered. She wasn't sure how to explain the file.

"Hmm, that's a weird name. Pass it over. You scan it and put it in the database yet?" Omega asked before receiving the folder.

"Yes, the database is fully updated too." Liz then noticed Omega making a bewildered expression. "Yeah it's weird, right?"

"A toddler? I don't get how a child could be considered evil. I'd say she just needs better guidance." Omega commented as he closed the folder and tossed it to Liz. He logged into his computer and searched for Enchantress. As he looked at her file, he looked to her Identity field. Unknown... He sighed as he closed the database. He was starting to wonder if things were not just simply black and white.

Sigma was tending to her flora before feeling her comlink buzz. She stood up with a confident smirk.

"It's time for some missions." Sigma teleported into her room before making an announcement over comms. "Anyone want to join me on a patrol. I'm good company and can teleport so we can find crime faster aaaand you don't have to walk."

Sigma began changing out of her casual wear and put on her super suit.

Thinking about the flavor that Cal mentioned he was going to try and make, causing drool to drizzle down her chin but whipped it up trying not to act like what he told her didn't effect her "Alright....I guess that will be okay....and...sprinkles....Oh my.....I think that will work too.." hearing her stomach growl even louder, sounding like a fart that was forming in her bowels, Zoe couldn't hold back her blush.

The moment Cal stopped and try to make sense of what she just said about him wanting her "Glitter Burger", she felt the need to name more "You know...my Jelly snatch, my golden taco, my honey tunnel..." she said and smiled when he finally got it. Nodding with understanding, she continued on behind him, pushing him so they could get on with the cake business. "hehe....you're such a good guy...and yeah....we can hang out. I heard you on the comm asking for missions and such. I think we can try a mission together. I work with Omega and Tito a lot or by myself if it's not a full team battle but I wouldn't mind teaming with you for a bit. she said. "Gives us a chance to get to know each other."

The pushing stopped when Cal zoomed away from her and showed up seconds later in regular clothes, changing from his battle suit. When speaking about Ice cream balls, Zoe perked up again "Well damn, what all do you have? I don't mind taste testing as a volunteer....as long as I get to taste EVERYTHING! you can even cook the bed sheets and I'll eat those if the flavor is right."

Beast Mode

Tito was not far from the HQ as he was flying out to the city to patrol and find any signs of Prime. Hearing his comm go off with Sigma speaking about missions and asking if anyone wanted to join her, Tito landed on a roof. Sigma....It's Beast Mode, I'm already out of the HQ and not far...but...I can join in patrolling as well..... Can you meet me? He didn't tell her everything as far as who he was going after at the moment but maybe this time with help, he can bring Prime in. Tito was just too proud to admit that he needed her to help bring someone in....maybe they could run into him but if not, he'd still enjoy doing a little work on the side to get his mind off of things.
