Appearance

Kyle was in the city about to jump off a building when he heard Eden over his comlink. Without a second thought Kyle teleported mid fall right outside his room back at HQ. Kyle reappeared in forn of his door, but he ended up crashing on the floor. Slightly dazed, Kyle looked up at his door.
"Aw man, my door."
Kyle then saw Eden, standing in his room. Kyle broke into a huge grin. He jumped up and ran to Eden, laughing and sweeping her up in his arms, twirling them both around.
"Little flower!
Kyle stopped spinning, but held on to Eden still. Kyle stilled smiled hugely.
"You were gone for quite awhile. Asgard was that much fun huh,"Kyle said jokingly.

Eden laughed as he spun her around and when he asked about Asgard she said "I don't want to talk about Asgard now. I just want to know what you've been up to. Did you miss me?" She put her head on his chest and noticed his decor. "You've been busy." She said smiling. She raised her face up to his and she kissed him passionately. "I missed you so much. I didn't know I could miss anyone that much. When Odin said I couldn't come back I was devastated."

Shiver came over the comlinks. Her voice sounded stressed. "ALL CALL everyone to the HQ we are on defensive alert. Turn the tv's on to any station and you'll see why. There is a mob outside of the HQ so if you are on foot or cycle call me and I'll come and get you." The helicopters could be heard above the HQ. "Let's go to the lounge. Something is very wrong."

Kyle kissed Eden once more and nodded. Kyle teleported them both to the lounge, where a TV was already on displaying all the anger and animosity of the angry mobs outside the compound. Kyle held Eden close and was aggravated about many things, one of which was how badly he wanted to smack Odin in his stupid mouth, but why did this have to happen the day Eden came home to him.
"Well if it ain't one thing it's another huh,"Kyle said with a sigh.
"I mean seriously, "abuse of power"? We don't abuse our just slightly lose control sometimes,"Kyle said jokingly.

"Where the hell is Miles?" This is his territory. Shiver watched on tv as she and Cambria killed Wicked Flame. "Oh please just kill me now." She said not taking her eyes off of the tv.

"What the hell is going on? I left for a couple of hours and the place is being mobbed when I get back. "Enyo complained. She looked up to see herself on tv as Loki and Shayla had entered the HQ looking like her carrying the child. Next it showed Shayla blowing a whole through the wall Loki walking out of it and Shiver getting pissed off and leaving. It showed Enyo grieving right after Shayla's death. It flipped to Cupid and Donovan and Shiver's parties and the drinking. Unable to take their eyes off of it Enyo sat down.

Wicked had been watching for over an hour on different stations. "I have noticed something interesting about the footage. None of it shows anything that Omega did that might be considered questionable. Not one piece anywhere. That seems quite telling to me." She looked over at "Coheed" as he was now calling himself. Enyo got up and stood behind him. "Yes, Mr body snatcher why is that? You are always around and many times you are right in the thick of things. There should be something of you on there and there is not."

Wicked negated his powers and she and Enyo took him downstairs and put him in the cell next to Cupid. The jail was at it's tightest and there were no ways to teleport in or out or for portals or vortexes to open there as well as the usual power negation. Wicked also put a bracelet on his arm.

Shiver went outside partially freezing herself with an icy outter layer in case they wanted to shoot her. "Please settle down. Obviously the footage has been faked by one of our enemies. I can prove to you that Wicked is alive as she is right here." Wicked stepped up onto the wall and waved. "Please go home. There is nothing to see." As Wicked and Shiver calmed the reporters and the crowd everyone else gathered inside.

The lawyer outside saw Shiver and approached her with a subpoena in hand.

"You must be Shiver. You've been served for the violent actions against my clients by your agent, Omega. Since he is your responsibility, you and your agency are responsible. I'll see you in court."

It was like a nightmare coming true. Conspiracy was on the media and not in a good way. There was personal footage of inner turmoil that the world could see. if that wasn't enough, Rey was still missing along with the R&D being broken into yet again. Miles was watching all of this earlier massaging his temple ready to drink himself silly. he grabbed his keys and drove to the compound to check with everyone.

The crowd could see his truck approaching as some protesters were surrounding his truck, hitting it, spitting at the window and yelling. As soon as he got out the car and the people were surrounding him, he went invisible and managed to bypass the people getting into the compound to find Shiver with a man in a business suit with a subpoena in hand. Yes, they were getting served.

Miles walked over grabbing the paper What...the....fuck! Omega...... Miles looked at the lawyer with a look as if he wanted to blast him off the property and turned to Shiver We need to go inside...I need to talk to everyone. he said before moving.

Shiver went down to the jails and went up to Omega. "What the hell did you do to the bartender? And why don't I know bout it? We are being sued!" Shiver looked at Miles. "You have to fix this. I told them that the video was faked, I showed them that my mother is alive. Wicked listened in the background."

Cupid sat in his room. A room which he had for the past few days decorated with symbols that were meant to ward against evil. Which meant for him that his room was both peaceful and very uncomfortable. He had his legs crossed and his hands palm up on his knees. He was in looser pants that were far more casual and shirtless. He was trying.

When the news came on his eyes opened and he tilted his head. He cursed under his breath when the bits with him came on. "That cannot be good..." he sighed and reached for a jar of jam he had and a spoon and ate some. He honestly did not look good...he was paler then usual. He hadn't left the compound as he said he wouldn't, but that also meant he wasn't eating enough of what he needed. That and sitting in a room filled with drawings of wards against half of him...probably wasn't having the best effect on his health either.

"That was the night you got raped and beaten. I saw red... I wanted to avenge you more than anything else." Omega paced in the cell as he was accused of foul play without any significant proof. "I just wanted to help! Why am I in here for something I didn't do?! Like what the hell?" Omega protested. "Miles wasn't on there, so can I assume he's gonna get locked up right across from me. Your mother has always hated me. She's just being subjective."

Eden watched the footage of her killing Shiver's rapist. "It's funny that it was cut to only show that part and not the part where he threw that grenade or show the damage it did to me. This video was an inside job. You know that right? How else would they get the footage from our private home?" Shiver looked at Omega and wondered. "That thought had crossed my mind." Shiver wanted to be able to prove it before she said anything.

"What do you think they will do to us?" Shiver replied. "Whoever did this wants to shut the HQ down. That person thinks we are dangerous to the public. Honestly, if I didn't know better and I saw this on tv I might think that too." Shiver looked at Omega and glanced at the bracelet he was still wearing.

"Honestly Eden if they close us down they will probably try to kill all of us." Wicked put her head back against the wall. Kronus pulled her to him and hugged her. Eden scooted closer to Kyle and held onto him tighter. Enyo grimaced. The goddesses looked at each other. They knew they would be sent home if the worst were to start. The angels could always leave but the other metas...in a worst case scenario they would die or be alone in which case they would always be on the run.

Shiver looked at Omega. "Most of the time you hate me. Why would you do that?" She remembered how he came in and held her. She shook her head, maybe there was still a little bit of Michael in there. She knew he had his memories so he could be faking it. She would need more proof that he actually cared about her. He had become the one person who was always getting angry when they had a problem. He hadn't been that way when he first took over the body. She wiped a tear out of her eye as a Michael memory came to her.

Wicked looked at Omega. "You know that is not true. I am suspicious of you definitely but I don't hate you. Most of these people have proven themselves. Since you took over the body you are showing more and more of yourself, more of who you really are. I just wait and observe."

Enyo piped up "Omega be quiet. Face it, you look good for this."

Suddenly on every news station in the country, a logo with a red phoenix appeared. A deep voice spoke, though it was not masked. It was strong and full encouragement.

"Fair people of this nation, we are the cause of your sight of the truth. The Conspiracy is exactly what it names itself. They claim to be your heroes, but they are only self serving. They're killers with no rules of engagement, and above a, they seem to work outside the government and with beings not of this world. Can you truly a force that has no way of being policed up. They use codenames and aliases. The conscript criminals. Using criminals to save our people from what?" A scenes of dead victims and destroyed property began to flash on the screen before the logo returned. "Mr. President our leader will be speaking to you in the coming days of an alternative to this corrupt agency. Our meta are free to share their pasts, they're all American citizens, they all have rules of engagement and follow the laws of the land. We can be trusted as we will not only work within your government, but we will be at the full service of this nation. We are Phoenix, the new hope for not just the nation's, but for the relations between meta and humans." The news then cut back to what it was showing.

Wicked turned and looked at Omega. "First you are NOT Coheed nor are you Michael. You are exploiting their memories for your benefit. In case you forgot I already apologized to Michael. I owe you nothing. I haven't figured it all out yet but based on what was taken I would assess that "Whomever" took the blueprints for other compounds and tech for making weapons and gadgets as well as a lot of miscellaneous things. It might be that someone wants to recreate their own compound and then rule with an iron fist like a Hitler or Stalin dictatorship. That might actually work if they could get rid of us."

"The surveillance room has a little camera that you didn't know about. No one did but Shiver and I. Do you want to guess who is on it steeling the footage to give to the media?" Wicked got very serious. "I've already seen it. It feeds into my room's video recorder. You have no idea what kind of trouble you are in. There is one in the office too." Shiver knew that meant her mother knew she kissed Donovan so she didn't look at her.

"Who the fuck is Phoenix?" She looked over at Omega. "You did this. You'd better start talking. They are the ones who attacked us like Wicked said. Starting up their own to take over our spot." She turned back around and she punched Omega so hard that Enyo caught him and held him so she could hit him again. She glanced at the anti meta bracelet on his arm and it dawned on her. "Of course, you beat up the bartender and that Peter guy because they knew where to find the AM bracelets. It had nothing to do with me it was just a convenient excuse."

Enyo looked at him. "Those bracelets suck don't they?" She chuckled at him. "So you wanted to find the bracelets to get on us so you could take us down easier didn't you?" Shiver looked at her and smiled. "Very good but he forgot two things...Eden and Enyo. It wouldn't work on them."

"Okay girls so now that we have figured him out what do we do about it?" Eden asked.

Kyle suddenly lurched forward, eyes shut in pain. With Kyles sweatshirt you wouldn't be able to see what was happening. But underneath his clothes on his back his curse tattoo glowed violently green. This only happens for one reason. His brother was extremely pleased, or trying to send him a message, something along the lines of "my plan is moving forward". The pain wasn't normal pain like as if you were hit in the face. It is a type of mental pain, like if someone made you re live your worst memory, and those feelings stuck. Kyle couldn't tell what Phantom was trying to tell him but one thing was clear. He was involved in all of this. And even with all the goddess as gods and demons and angels on their side, phantom was a force to be reckoned with. Kyle went back to his previous position, all pain evaporated as fast as it came. The curse tattoo glimmered for a few more moments and then dyed down. Hiding itself once again. Kyle couldn't tell if anyone noticed, and he knew he would have to say something eventually. But this was his brother, the man he once thought was his only family. And while Kyle knew he would have to kill him, he didn't know if he was strong enough.

After following Shiver down to the cells and with Wicked and Enyo down there, Miles listened to what all was going on and to get his mind straight to figure what they'd need to do. Yes, they needed to fix this and depending on what steps they take, they need to tread carefully. They were already in a bad light until something else came up on the news.

Miles looked over at Omega with a bit of anger You take asshole to a whole other level he said shaking his head. Turning to look over at Wicked I know this goes without saying but no one, under any circumstances are to go on missions until further notice. I advise that you stay out of public view for the time being as well. He said. He knew he'd need to set up an appointment with the President if he'd give him the time to talk and discuss the issues at hand that have already started tarnishing the conspiracy's image. Also with Miles being the face of the Agency and Conspiracy, many were going to pour out their anger and hate towards him. There was chance that people will order Miles' arrest.

I need one of you down here watching Omega at all times. I need to make a few calls. For as far as we are concerned, There's a chance that all of our branches around the world are in danger, if not already attacked. Donovan came down to meet with the group Hey eye-spy, shall I get rid of those gnats and flies out there. Miles turned around Donovan, I'm not in the mood for you brutal psychopathic shit today man. We already have heat on us, we don't need you doing something stupid to guarantee our executions. So what you're going to do, NOW, is shut the fuck up and do as I say and stay the fuck out of trouble....okay?

Eden noticed as Kyle leaned forwards in pain but she had no idea why. "Ladies, I think Kyle is coming down with a virus or something. I'm going to go have him lay down for a while." Shiver nodded. "Okay Eden I'll call you when I need you." Eden nodded and led Kyle back to his room and fixed his apartment door as well as she could. She shut the bedroom door and asked him. "Okay what is it and remember you told me you would tell me when I got back."

Eden looked at him and he looked a little grayish. She started looking for his pajamas and not finding any she looked at him. "You look terrible." She sat down and took his hand in hers.

Kyle held Edens hand gingerly, and rubbed it with his thumb. He had so much to say, and Kyle knew not nearly enough time. So Kyle told Eden as much as he could. He explained how he once had a brother, who took care of him after his parents died. He turned to a life of crime, and at a young age left him to fend for him self. And every time Kyle thought he had settled down, found a place he could live, his brother showed up and taught him how alone he truly was. Kyle told Eden how his brother said this was his way of teaching him how to be strong. And over the years his brother has become nearly god like in the criminal underworld. Somehow he had obtained powers not form this world, and Kyle now knows not even from this realm. Kyle explained how about four years ago he had finally thought he hid well enough, and settled down in a small town in the middle of nowhere. He even had....someone.....he cared about. But somehow his brother found him, more angry than he has ever seen him before. He slaughtered the entire town himself, and made Kyle watch as he killed the girl he cared about. Then he branded Kyle with the curse tattoo. He explained what it was, how if he died he would become his brothers thrall, and how it limited it, how it would not let him heal fully, and how it couldn't be removed. The tattoo was his brothers creation, it wasn't something seen before. His brother was dealing in something more evil and demonic forces. Kyle explained how he somehow knew Phantom was involved with all this. He found Kyle again and he was going to kill everyone. Not today, not tomorrow, but someday. He apologized for not explaining sooner but he is very strong. Stronger than everyone here. And he knew if he said something everyone would want to find him and take him on.
"I'm so sorry Eden. This has been my burden for far too long. And I think my first mission here.....will have to be to stop him. And I don't know if I will be able to come back as the Kyle you know. Please don't tell everyone yet. I need to gather more information on this first. More info on him. It's tough This mission on my own.
