Sigma
Sigma had been lingering back from the commotion. On another day she may have been entertained.
Hmm... She thought about what Donovan was saying, and as shitty as he use to be, he was trying or at least he said he was.
"If you all keep this up, they'll win. Not just Phoenix, but all of our enemies... Anyway, I'll be out back if anyone needs me." Sigma said as she teleported to her garden. She had not tended to it quite some time. The rain had been good for her flowers, but she was afraid it was a bit too much.
She focused on shaping a forcefield into a small bowl which she used to scoop up some of the excess water from the soil. When she heard Miles over then comlink, she sighed.
"I'm" Sigma appeared by Miles leaning on the wall for the hallway. "Right here. So we can talk now?"
@Wick@dabombjk@King Tai@BlackPantherOmega: A Choice Made Long Ago
One second he was in the cell, and the next he was in a place he remembered all too well. It more so the feeling this place gave off than the look of it. Omega looked around at the blank slated realm that was filled with nothing but white.
"A dream?" Omega as he looked down at his twisted form. His skin was solid black with unusual growths and deformities on his body. "What is... going on?" He asked out into the open space in confusion.
"We're here. Back at square one." Michael said from behind the creature that stole his body. "It's a little different this time though. I chose the playing field, that I have to admit to be pretty fitting." Omega looked around with his hands out as he said this. "A clean slate. The winner takes it and do as he pleases with it."
The creature chuckled as shook his head in disbelief.
"I killed you... or to be more precise, you killed yourself. This must be Cupid's work. He even got your smug attitude down to a T. What he doesn't know is that this is not your body to claim. This is my body.... Coheed's body, and your just a product of his subconscious defense mechanism that kept him sane." The creature said as a crying young boy appeared beside him. "He was broken. What child wouldn't be if they lost their parents and eventually got stripped from the small bit of family they had left. He was young, he failed to understand that it was for his safety. What child cares about safety." The creature chuckled as Michael stared at the child who ceased his crying and began to breath heavily. "Then the anger came. The hate did too. This might be why you and Cambria are always at odds. It's him. The boy who is so bitter. He sees what her life had become. I could be wrong though. Then again, I'm usually always right."
Michael stared at the boy sat down and was consumed by a darkness, only to be spat back out appearing to be fine.
"Now that's you, Michael Watts. The Coheed with no memory of the love he had or the pain he received. Your life was a mess, but you were someone who would never feel the pain Coheed felt ever again. You found yourself an artificial family and then you grew up. All to have it ripped away from you by the woman who did it to Coheed in the beginning. Poetic, isn't it?"
"It was you who did this." Michael said with anger. The creature just smiled.
"True. I fired the bullet, but she gave me the weapon and the ammunition. I just needed to fire. I'm a creature that usually jumps from one host to another. I use their body for sustenance until I can jump to a better one. I was pretty harmless until that angel not only gave me an upgrade, but she brought back the memories. The memories, the pain, the hate. All of these still were not enough to give me true purpose. The key... and God I love the key. It was the power that was unlocked inside of you. Without that, I wouldn't have even dreamed of a situation of where I was able to understand your memories or knowledge. With that, I took everything from you. I made you give it up, because you could not make sense of it! I could! So do you know what I figured?" The creature's body morphed until it looked just like Michael with the Phoenix uniform on. "I am Coheed.... and you're just someone he wanted to be. A man who barely felt pain or love. A man who was headstrong who could hold his own against anything as long as he fought back! You are NOT him!" The creature said as he shifted back to his original form.
Michael wanted to badly fight this thing, but it was right. As his memories came in clearly, it just could not be any other way. Michael looked at the boy who stared back at him with blank eyes.
"You're right. But, what's your purpose in all of this?" Omega asked as he stepped up to the being. "You call me artificial, but you're not him either. You're just a third party trying to make things right for him. Does he even want this. Justice is great and a, but what about the means to this end you've plotted? If he thinks I'm the better of he and I, then I think the decision has already been made. I've seen his vision through your actions." Michael said as the boy walked over to Michael's side. He doesn't need you. He has me." Michael said before being impaled by the creature.
"Fuck you! You're nothing! Obsolete! Weak! I am-" The creature felt his body harden and crack as Michael took a step back unharmed.
"Nope. I'm Omega." Omega said as he watched the creature's eyes widened before he shattered.
"I think he was going to say Coheed." The boy said before Omega smirked at the young version of himself.
"Same thing kid... It's exactly the same thing." Omega said as he woke up with the worst headache of his life on a rooftop in Rio, Brazil. "Fuck me..." he said as stood up and felt around his body and clothes. "I did it, but where am I?" He said as he felt something under his uniform. As he pulled it out, he stared at it for a moment. It was a red comlink, the same used by Phoenix.
That's how he was working in the cell. He wasn't just being an asshole, he was giving orders and information. He took it off and placed it on.
"Omega here. I need a way back." Omega said before he vanished in seconds.
