Jesse is more or less a potential disaster waiting to happen
Because the Scientists at the project as well as the instructors kept referring to her as not human but "The Meta Child" she doesn't see herself as human.
She was aware since she was 10 that the adults in her life were afraid of her an that some saw her as a monster. This treatment as a thing to be used means that she thinks everyone is out to use her for their own purposes.
Couple that with the knowledge that all Meta are classified as a new species of man by mist of the scientific world and you have a potential budding Magneto.
Luckily she is also empathetic and can even identify with the feelings of others and doesn't hold a grudge.

I will say that she will likely only date an mate within her own species viewing homo sapiens as lesser choice
