Brief History: Art grew up shunned by his peers and family, at least for the first few years of his life, until he was nine. He didn't want to be ignored, but he had one problem that made his family break away from him. He didn't fit the stereotype for a wolf. Wolves were expected to be loud and tough and a little bit stupid. Art was none of those things. Well he was actually rather tough, but that came through training. But his father was a ZPD officer, and every morning, Art would peak out of the living room window of his house in Tundratown, and watch his father leave, with his uniform on looking like a paragon of justice and virtue. Art had asked his father so many times about being on the force, but every time his father shunned him. So, when his father was supposedly sick and couldn't go to work, Art was supprised when there was a knock on the door. A tall elephant was standing at the door, accusing Art's dad of impersonating a police officer. His father turned out to be a smuggler, transporting illegal goods over borders. As his father was being taken away, he yelled to Art telling him "Keep up the legacy son!" From that moment on, Art vowed to become a real police officer to show the world that he could be more than his dad, and never to trust anyone again.

Personality: Art is very tough and action ready. He has no qualms with roughing up any perpetrator if they won't talk. He isn't afraid to get in a fight, he inherited his father's granite jaw and he can't resist a good howl. Sounds stereotypical, right? Well he isn't all muscle and howling, muscle and howling. For instance, he is the only wolf he knows who can complete a sudoku in less than thirty seconds, and is generally smart all around for a wolf.

He is very trustworthy, but not very trusting himself. He only has emotional attachments to a few things, because he doesn't want his heart shattered again. When he is friends with someone, he turns out to be a good laugh and a bit of a goofball. If he isn't friends with someone, he is quiet and collected, with a small air of suavity, but he will give them the cold shoulder when he wants to.

Name: Zachary Ursa

Species: Brown bear

Sex: Male

Age: 27

Brief History:
Born in the heart and center of Tundratown, Zach's life was more-or-less average. His father tried his best to raise him all by his own, eventually having to resign his duty as an officer from the ZPD just so he could devote more time to him. Ever since he was young the bear had idolized his father for striving to protect those who could not protect themselves, blissfully unaware that the world outside the confines of his own home were far from being the dreamscape he had always thought it to be.

Rather than just standby and have his dreams just stay idle, the ursine decided to take action and just accept everything with a smile for the time being, even with all the prejudice and misconceptions surrounding the city. Wanting to make his father proud, he followed in his footsteps and enrolled himself for the ZPD, ready to serve and most importantly, protect. The big, ball of fur could hardly wait, he just hopes that wherever his mother may be now she's proud.

Personality:
Zachary is, hands-down, an optimist. At first glance he has many attributes that would make him a great officer; brave(If a little reckless at times), clever, loyal, friendly, and definitely athletic. Yet at the same time, he lacks focus and discipline, refuses to acknowledge his failures and doesn't know when to give up, even when all hope is clearly lost. It takes a serious and grave matter for him to get his act together.

Adding to that, he is loudmouthed and can come off as insensitive at times, unaware that his jokes and off-handed comments sometimes hurt his own colleagues. Despite this however, he tries his hardest to make friends with many of those he comes across and makes an effort to befriend everyone in the station, trying to avoid any stereotypes as he can, which more often than not tends to work against him. And his laid-back attitude often leaves him assigned to more menial tasks and duties, something that he doesn't mind but annoys him to no end.

He is also quite conscious about his own image, often believing himself to be a tad too pudgy.

Name: Liza

Species: Marble Fox

Sex: Female

Age: 19

Brief History: Liza was born in Zootopia, into a crime-ridden neighbourhood in tundratown. Living with weasels, foxes, rats and literal slum dogs taught her everything she never wanted to know about being faster and smarter than the average thug, from childhood age on. Though she had to play her role in this society for years to survive, it never felt as right to her as it did to her siblings. She had secret aspirations to be more than just a thief since her first game of cops and robbers, but her family met those with mockery. How could a fox, born into a family of scoundrels, living the life of a smuggler and thief ever be something as ridiculous as a cop?

Then, one fateful day, Liza's wishes became more than empty daydreaming when the mammal initiative program was in the news. Proving to be effective, not just did it involve a rabbit in police duty, but also a fox. That was the wink of faith Liza needed.She virtually up and left home, knowing she would get no sympathy or support from her family. She enrolled to police training and though it was everything but easy, her dedication and endurance allowed her to pass. Now she's on her way to official police duty, full of confidence, excitement and pride.

Personality: Liza is a righteous person with a strong sense for justice and responsibility. Most of the time she acts in a by-the-book way because she genuinely believes that following the rules is what keeps people alive in this line of work. But there are times when she is willing to disregard her directives, or even the law, if it means preventing harm. She is mostly free of racial bias and spends a lot of effort to fight it wherever possible. The reason why the fox joined the force to begin with was to escape a life of stereotyping and crime.

Liza may not be the smartest by her peers standards, but she's damn fast for a fox. Her relatively small size makes her ideal for scouting jobs, and due to her foxy nature she's a likely candidate for undercover work and recon. Being physically fit allows her to chase and restrain similar-sized animals, but obviously she would struggle against bigger targets. Her attention span is quite limited, making her very unfit for uneventful jobs such as parking duty. Also, she wants to believe there's some good in everyone, so she's essentially defenseless against puppy-eyes. Because predators are unjustly demonized (foxes in particular!). And prey can't do anything bad anyway. Read: gullible to a fault. This is psychologically based on her being familiar with steal-or-starve situations, and she's working hard to improve, but it remains her biggest weakness.

Name: Damascus “Damien” Black

Species: Black Panther

Age: 24

Brief History: Damascus's actual family and where he was precisely born, was irrelevant and frankly didn't matter whatsoever. Though not exactly helping that his parents were likely heavily intoxicated and unable to remember those exact details themselves. But it didn't matter, as Damascus was the outcast of his family, even from birth. Taking all their hateful words and blame as the reason his family was so divided in the first place. Constantly persecuted as being not a real part of their family and often psychically abused by his dad and brothers. Running away from home at a young age and spent most of his life with his closest friend, who happened to be a wolf and his family that ended up taking care of him as one of their own. Also where he got his nickname, considering he hated the name his parents gave him. Considering them as his real family, (and it's where he lives today.) He was no longer exactly concerned about his family. His father especially, due to the fact he was very active in criminal activity.

Maybe it was because of people like his father, or because his girlfriend was an officer and their family refused to let her date anyone else solely because they weren't a police officer. That he decided to join the program to become an officer, because one thing was true he loathed malicious individuals and had a strong sense of justice, highly respecting their line of work. Figuring that he would be perfect for the job, plus it meant more quality time with his sweetheart, whom he deeply loved.

Personality: He is very rambunctious and playful often times, often trying to lighten the mood with his rather bad jokes which he usually finds hilarious. He highly prefers people calling him by his nickname, sometimes outright denying that isn't his real name. Though he doesn't easily get offended or fearful, even at the most disgusting things such as blood or vomit. Often tries to see the silver lining in any situation or individual, besides his family members which was the only thing that could be mentioned that may actually upset him. That or insulting his friend or girlfriend. He has a strong tolerance for pain, and is not scared to get serious or defend who he cares about, also able to act serious when he needs to, though does prefer finding peaceful solutions to problems. But he also finds it hard to fully trust or let people very close to him, being rather shy as he actually prefers to spend time alone than in groups of strangers.

Though on rare cases, his personality can shift drastically almost coming off as a disorder (split personality disorder to be exact) and can be quite noticeably different to his actual normal behavior as he can shift into someone who is quite highly passive aggressive and just straight up violent and is extremely hateful towards others, being very reclusive and bitter towards everything. His close friend and his girlfriend usually know how to quickly snap him out of it. He tries his very best to be aware of this but he often times does it impulsively and there's no exact reasoning for these sudden swings. That usually last for a few hours on average if not stopped.

Brief History: Her family is very small but quite close to one another, She was raised quite happily though slightly strictly with both her loving parents. Without too many major problems in her life, beside the very recent death of her grandmother whom she was close to and her very poor luck making many friends or finding a worthwhile relationship. Though she found one great friend and boyfriend and has been dating Damascus Black for around a year now. She has been in law enforcement for several years now. Deciding she wanted to help others, by becoming a police officer since she was a child, doing everything she could for her to acquire the job, which after blood, sweat and tears meaning a ton of hard work, it finally paid off. She has been focusing on her job, and working on finding an apartment and move in with her boyfriend, as much as her parents would prefer to wait until marriage wanting to start a life independently mainly to prove she can do it.

Personality: She is very patient, and able to keep calm in most situations tending to cry easily at things she finds sad, even when she doesn't exactly know why, also able to calm others down with her rather cheerful and pleasant voice, including her boyfriend when he his mood swings, but it helps for her line of work too. She is very caring to ones she loves, and friendly toward others but is usually quiet and soft spoken. She has a tendency to be like parents and judge people and gossip about individuals usually behind their back, not trying to be cruel, usually because she can't help herself. She is a neat freak, and needs everything to be clean. Though not particularly vain nor materialistic and usually in a good mood. She loves music and singing along which luckily for people around her, her voice is actually decent.

Name: Lance Arion

Brief History: Lance was born into a wealthy family of seven within the great city of Zootopia near the city’s center. His family is known for a number of things, the production of some of the technology used to keep each Ecosystem stable, and their political movement to help the city expand for other species. His two older brothers named John and Alan both chose a career in politics, his two older sisters named Alexandria and Sarah both chose a career in environmental technology. Due to the fact that Lance is the youngest is his family, his parents somewhat looked down upon his expectantly, his actions showed that he was not interested in the career choices the rest of his family had made. Since a young age, he had always shown great interest with the combined forces of the police or military. Sometimes he and his friends would pretend they were police officers going after a criminal or protecting the city from some form of crime, saving the day for all.

After many years of this, his parents tried to push one of their careers upon him, but this only drove him against their words, proving that he would indeed be a police officer like Nick Wilde, someone that he still looks up to this day. Later on in his life, he applied for the position of a police officer and quickly moved through training, not letting anything anyone said or did slow him down the slightest. The time finally came when he graduated from the Police Academy with flying colors among the highest achieving Cadets. His parents grew to understand who he was, what he was, and how he was going to help Zootopia be a better place for all. Now, his whole family is very proud of him, and wished him the very best as he set foot onto the monorail train car.

Personality: This fox has a high tolerance for pain, which he learned from years in hard physical training and being a very active child. He cares for all those around him, not only his friends but strangers, which has lead do a bit of distrust and paranoia from being used, which he is currently trying to overcome. Like all other foxes, Lance is quite sly when he wants to be, getting out of certain situations or even getting into them. This has gotten him into trouble a couple of times but has proven to be very useful in many situations. Having a sharp and sometimes dark sense of humor these days is almost required to keep yourself sane, thankfully Lance acquired such when he was much younger than he is today. Stubborn, is a word that applies to Lance, suborn but not stupid or irresponsible, he has common sense. To gain his respect, you must earn it, he does not lightly give that away to people. Something he hides is that females can make him quite nervous at times, something he is also trying to overcome.

Species:Procyon Iotor, aka Raccoon

Brief History: Ralph's upbringing was a lot like most of the other city 'scavengers'. His mother died just after his birth, the sixth of six cubs left to fend against the harsh reality of poverty. His father worked meager job after meager job, earning the family a meager living. Ralph knew how hard he tried too, more than anyone. It was just hard finding honest, decent-paying work with the notion of thievery constantly plaguing his opportunities.

That was the part Ralph hated most. Few realized that, paradoxically, the only reason his family needed to steal was because of the preconception of all raccoons as thieves.

As their misconceptions grew, so did his skill as a thief. Ralph, by the age of four, was a master of the trade of 'scavenging'. Unlike his siblings, however, he always wished for more, a more fulfilling life with the goal of breaking the barriers founded by previous generations and proving that his people, and scavengers in general, were more than the trash they were forced to eat. He vowed early on that he would be the first of his family to make a significant difference, to make things better.

Thus, the day came that he began working for his dream, a position as a full-fledged member of the ZPD. What better way to change a system of injustice than by becoming a figure of justice? What better day to change than today?

Personality: Ralph may be described as one who is driven. This, however, would be an understatement. His goals dominate most of his time, thought, and resources. He is incredibly determined, so much so that even the most daunting of challenges he can overcome. These challenges he views as entertaining, a break from the frequent recurrence of everyday events. Because of this, one might say Ralph excels under pressure.

Ralph is a somewhat stereotypical intellect, curious of everything. Perhaps the most captivating topic to him is the behavior of others. He hopes one day to use his observations to put forth some working explanation for the division of society based on issues that resolved long ago. He, however, often looks past the emotional attachments of the present and past. He makes decisions based mostly on cold logic rather than being rash. In fact, he might be described as detached from anything that doesn't involve his primary goals. Because of this, he is sometimes intolerant of those that he deems 'excessively emotional'.

All in all, Ralph seems rather aloof to those he is not familiar with. For those he calls friends, however, he would do most anything for.

Brief History: Born and raised in Tyria, a small community surrounded by wooded foothills of the Catspaw mountains. When he came of age, being the oldest of Shipped to officer candidacy school, cause his parent's think it's awesome, and it's kind of a family tradition. Tadigam wanted to make his parents proud, by being the best cop he could. He spent his whole life preparing for this moment. He just hopes he won't let anyone down.
