California born

Jackson was born and raised in Southern California, primarily spent in Death valley, he later moved to LA during his teen and college years. At the age of 22, he left California with everything he owned in a suitcase. He did not know where he was headed, or what would be their... but he knew it was right. He arrived in New York, and quickly upon spreading outwards into the unfamiliar state found work. After scavenging for warmth during a cold winter night, a local radio stations night staff found a young Jack rummaging through the trash bins. The man invited him in, and in the end Jackson found he was the main host to a popular morning show. The man proceeded to invite Jack to his home, and it was their Jackson found himself staying for the next few months. He worked under the radio station, cleaning and keeping everything up to date.
Two years into his work, he finally felt his curiosity spreading outwards. He approached Franklin with the hopes of becoming more then just a janitor, an apprentice. After some discussion, an agreement was made. Years went by and Jackson soon found himself rising in the ranks, his name and voice becoming an icon for people all over. He was honest, funny, intelligent, and extremely open minded on almost every subject. A family man, and a loyal one. When Franklin passed away, Jackson took over as head host and continued to live on the Radio's legacy. He met his wife shortly after becoming franklin's apprentice, and the two prospered up until the time of the chaos. He had been traveling when the government came to collect the weapons, he had been traveling when the gangs of New York traveled to his upstate home. His wife murdered, and his children not accounted for. Jack is now on a desperate quest to find others to aid in survival, and is searching high and low for a sign of his two beloved daughters, Ditto and Jillian.
