He prefers to play Kelemvor more than DM, so he just kinda smites us for doing stupid shit, and provides more opportunities for us to do stupid shit... It's fun, but eventually you get tired of stupid shit, and we don't have a cohesive party, on top of that.

Sorry about the wait. I've been kinda uninspired lately. Trying to get ready to move this weekend and it's kinda sapping at my creativity...

Moving again eh? :P Must suck to have to move so often...

If I have to move again after this I'm going to scream until my head explodes. My roommate got posted to another province. The only reason I live here is because neither of us can afford the apartment by ourselves. Now I am moving into an apartment by myself and I am not going anywhere for at least another couple years.

what if, like, they do the questing thing, and the Oliver ends up losing his divine powers because he lets too many things slide, and then, in like, a final boss battle or something, he has to finally dust off the massive sword he carts around?

Well, his powers aren't supposed to be connected to gods in this world. He just...has them. ^^;; Doesn't mean he can't decide to start using his big sword more. Same for Sanguine, kind of. I plan for her to take up some sword lessons after a while. Though nothing more than a long sword.

Oh right, I forgot about that. I figgered it might trigger a bit of a crisis of faith and make him actually pick a side instead of just trying to minimise casualties for the "bad guys".

That might happen either way. As there's sure to be some people that find out about what Sanguine is. And she'll want to 'get rid' of them. :P Plus there's still the issue of her blood supply. At most, she's willing to give them better accommodations, not set them free or anything like that.

By the way, I don't know if you've realised it yet but being a vampire -has- affected her personality. As in, she was just like any regular girl in the game. But now she's...let's just say a lot more emotionally detached from humans and evil deeds in general. If it wasn't for Oliver, she would have probably handles things a lot less kindly in the village.

I figgered it was probably something like that. Oliver hasn't quite realised it, but he is making it his mission to keep her under control regardless.

As far as he CAN keep her under control. xD Plus, it's not like she'll go on a rampage, slaughtering villages. Or becoming a tyrant or something. She actually wants to become a strong and harsh, but ultimately good ruler, She just rather uses force than politics to get what she wants. And if killing natives is required, she will. Which is partially to blame on her now being a vampire.

If she did that, he'd probably have to stop being her friend. XD

Olly is still going to do what he can to at least reduce the body count. good rulers don't murder the fuck out of their populace...

Of course good rulers wouldn't murder the fuck out of their future subjects. But a few here and there...not to mention any soldiers coming from the current king...

Anyway, not to worry. At the very least there won't be many casualties from the kingdom they're in now. The racist and highly religious kingdoms however...that might be a different story. :P

The racist and highly religious ones are separate kingdoms. :P Though the highly religious one is highly racist as well. (because of their faith)

It's just semantics in the end. :P As I basically said in my post, the victor decides who the good guy is in history.

I've never met the guy, but I think he should try being a little less one-sided.

I figured I COULD have Sanguine do her experimenting on this day, but I think I'd rather keep the rp moving towards things more important to the plot. Like them going to the adventurer's guild the next day. So I say they invite the generals and have a party. Let's say...to celebrate a whole new world to explore and conquer. :P
