Alright so I`m really wanting to start up new roleplays because as of late roleplays have run dead for me. The anxiety party roles in when I look through the 1x1 section so I decided to make my own to bring in potential roleplaying partners, as this all sounds I`m not the best at interest checks however. Currently I`m looking for a male role when it comes to roleplays as I`m best at female roles. The characters I come up with tend to be strong females, as I can`t seem to play a pitiful maiden in need of help. So usually they can stand their own ground. I don`t have many plot ideas already worked out at the moment and I by far like to talk out a plot with people anyway.
Guidelines: • I`m looking for you to be able to post a few good paragraphs a post. They`re easier to respond to and the characters become more in depth that way. This being said if your post varies a bit that`s fine. I would appreciate it if it could be at least 2000 characters minimum though. It`s just to make sure posts don`t start falling too short, and smaller posts start to loose my interest. That being said I`m not going to check how many characters are in your posts, just be reasonable about it, by far quality over quantity wins out. I`m definitely looking for more advanced roleplayers, maybe possibly someone to push how much I can write myself.
• If you`re looking for smut I`m not your girl. I prefer fade to black as I`ve never been good at writing sexually explicit situations. I however do like a roleplay to have mature content anywhere else. For instance if a character is being tortured, all the gory details are going to be there. Well not too explicit with that one because literature can get pretty scary plenty fast, I only want it to go as far as both of us are comfortable. In short though, I do like mature content in anything else, but fade to black is a stick too for me. (Mind you that it`s only with actual smut, anything before or after is alright I guess, we`ll talk when the story gets anywhere near there.)
• I`m a straight to the point kind of person about stuff if you can`t tell, I kinda expect you to be the same way with me. If you have plot ideas, speak up, I won`t snap at you about them. When both partners in a roleplay are communicating on the plot and the characters the roleplay itself becomes a lot more enjoyable. This goes the same if you want to quit a roleplay, tell me, I may ask why and if anything can be helped, but I won`t be angry at you. I`ll be more upset if you just disappear without a trace. That being said if I back out, try not to be angry with me. It`s usually the plot that`s starting to just give me writer`s block into a wall.
• As for how often to post as long as you post at least once every few days I`m fine, I`d like once a day or more if you can, but it`s not a deal breaker for me. People have lives and life gets in the way sometimes. If you`re busy and need a few days or a week, just shoot me a quick pm and we`re chill.
• This is probably the last one as I don`t want you to have to read a lot of these, that`s just not fun. When it comes to my limits I can handle things I`ve come to know as taboos (rape, incest, exc.) alright as long as they are only mentioned or talked about by the characters. I don`t want to roleplay it though. For example if a character has a dark past and rape was apart of it then that`s completely fine, they can retell what happened and anything like that. Just not going to roleplay it out. That`s not to say these things can`t happen to the characters throughout the roleplay, I`m just not going to roleplay it out.

I don`t really have any plot ideas as I said. I tend to like to see what me and that person can come up with as it tends to set a better base than just a plot one person completely came up with anyway. It`s fair to say all of these will include some kind of romance however.
Settings: To be clear I`m up for any setting however. These are just a few I`m most comfortable with or interested in. Any with a * are ones I`m currently interested in. • Medieval * This one is honestly a favorite of mine. I`ve done it for a long time and it never seems to get boring. • Victorian Era I had a roleplay that seemed to be in this era even though it was never said, and it`s lasted over a year, so this ones also a good one for me. • Future This can range from many things, just fast forward into an unknown future and make stuff up to mysterious time travel. It really just depends on the plot. • Steam Punk I really like the pirate kind of setting to steam punk in particular. I`m not the most associated in the idea of it but I`m eager to learn more about it. • World War I * I`m not very good at history but I like the thought of the captured injured soldier meeting a nurse from the opposite side and hitting it off before reaching past the political battles they`ll have to face. • 1940`s * I am a big mcu fan, my favorite storyline being Captain America and character being Bucky Barnes. I think a plot set in that universe or just one based on this time of war would be interesting.
These are just a few that I`m interested in or feel like I`m really good at, as I will say a lot though, I`m up for anything. I will disclaim that unless it`s an interesting kind of plotline, I`m not good at modern for some odd reason, I will do it if there`s a flare to it.

Those are a few I thought up but I`m open the pretty much anything, I tend to like opposites as I think it creates more conflict and plot twists. The ones with * on them mean that the female is undercover in that situation, meaning she`s dressed as a male in order to be what is properly expected in those positions. So the female knight is dressed as a male. The pirate or captain is dressed as a guy as well. This just makes it more accurate to the time and makes a plot twist when they`re revealed to the other characters.

Edit!: I now have a few plots down below that I`ve been scheming up. The ones with the * are again ones that I really want to do! If it has two stars it means that I really think the plot will fuel an intense and interesting roleplay.
They wanted weapons, powerful ones, human ones. Children that have long been forgotten by families and lost in foster systems were taken and experimented on, tortured. Their very lives messed with till almost all of them died of the experiments, killed themselves, or became void brainless shells of human life. There is one that was resilient however, this one is the one they named Project Zero.
This one project 'died' multiple times, however their life wouldn`t be taken by the experiments. Every time they showed no signs of life they came back, persistence is their key of life. It`s this key factor that has made the experiments all the more inhuman. Zero has been the test subject of so many experiments that its believed they may no longer be even human anymore.
All the while the projects have never been known by anyone but the people of the organization. The people used have always been nobodies that no one misses. They`ve always died due to the experiments. So what makes Zero so different? They`re genetics are off so slightly that the first experiment mutated them into something completely different. Considering that Zero was one of the first experiments, the thing that made them different was never recorded. Therefore the experiment has been retested so many times that the variable is almost inexistent.
As years have gone by Zero is no longer a child with growing cells, cells are starting to form less noticible differences, meaning the projects to mutate aren`t working anymore, but they aren`t killing the patient. In order to continue experiments on "Zero" they reproduce the test subject. Zero`s three test tube children are then experiments on. One dies within the first year, the second lasts three, the third ends up being the strongest and remains alive, stronger than Zero ever has been.
This child becomes the first "mutant", their parent is still tested on but the tests start going to the new child. When this child reaches adulthood they show one slight difference from the original Zero, their cells regenerate, without forming cancer. Simple scratches heal in minutes, while bullet wounds heal in a day or so. Their organs regenerate, which is strangest part about them. Therefore the inhuman experiments of shooting this patient are performed often in order to test their reaction to pain.
This patient becomes known as Negative.
Patient Name: Negative Age: 25 Gender: Female Key Factors: Hasn`t aged past the age of 18 Regeneration Family: Father: Zero Mother: 0263
He didn`t expect this after graduating college, who pictures themselves experimenting on human beings for a living? Yet here the young scientist is. He`s the grandson of the person who started this project. It was unknown to him that this is what his family did for a living. Now however it is his responsibility to take over the family project.
What will his first thoughts be of his test subject, subject Negative. Will he simply try to think of his 'patient' as some animal, or will he be the first to find just how morally wrong the experiments are? Most of all will he finally free her from the only life she`s known.
Alright, so this plot is obviously about an organization that uses human experimentation. Your character will be the grandson of its founder and his struggle with the family business verse what his morals are. He will have plenty of time spent with my character, which will be Negative.
The start of the roleplay will be the first meeting between the two and will evolve from there. The plot will then eventually, whether sooner or later, have the two escape the lab in some way, then their lives together as refugees and Negative will have to learn about the world she`s never known.
This roleplay will involve torture and human experimentation.
In this world when you come of age you don't just simply become an adult. No, you were born completely human, but when you come of age you must take a test to see which supernatural creature you are more equipped for by personality. One can choose to be apart of the werewolves, shifters, fairies, elves, mermaids, and angels. These are the creatures of the light and are accepted in society. The person can also choose to stay human. There are times however when these coming of age ceremonies go wrong though. Someone choosing to be a werewolf can sometimes be influenced by dark forces and become a vampire, elf turns into a banshee, angel to demon, mermaid to siren, fairy to imp, exc. The human tries to choose what they will become but a darkness in their heart can painfully turn them into something else. These kind of creatures are banned to the outside of the society and are passed off as being non-existent. The society tells that these people simply died of the change and didn`t make it. What would happen however if these outlawed creatures upraised and overtook the society and all of the light creatures? In hopes of peace.
That being said the "light" creatures aren`t off limits in this plot and there are grey areas of creatures, such as fallen angels and such. The playable characters can be pretty much any race. There can also be humans that fail to have a transition at all. The playable characters could be from both sides, the one of light finding out that the myths about the dark ones isn`t a myth at all. There are many different ways to go about this plot. I would prefer to play one of the dark side but that`s up to you.
This roleplay starts off with a prince and a woman of the lower class, being a little more friendly then anyone would prefer, except no one knows, and the prince is married while the woman is engaged. All in all these two meet secretly and start to form a relationship more than physical exchanges. As they start to actually fall in love their significant others start to become obstacles and burdens to their true feelings for each other.
They also find out that the prince`s wife is going to have a baby, not exactly something that makes a failing marriage in the prince`s prospective easier. Neither of them know what to do as their affair grows all the more serious. A family forming and a marriage that is supposed to take place suddenly put both of them in serious trouble.
As for the setting in this roleplay, it would be in the Medieval or Victorian era. The start of the roleplay would probably be the prince and the woman talking about things in the middle of the night before he tells her about his child that is going to be born and the entire situation changes. This plot really is set up to be quite dramatic and have a ton of plot twists.
"It started in past life, one born of royalty, one born with the destiny to become a knight. The two fell madly in love. This is however where the start of the knight's demise was founded. The two decided to marry against the wishes of others after 6 months of secret courtship. During the ceremony the knight was shot with an arrow by an assassin. That was the day the knight died in the arms of the person they cared for most. It was also the day a mystery started. The royal disappeared an hour after the death of their beloved, and they were never seen again. The rest of the royal family and the court of nobles vanished by the next morning.
The kingdom fell overnight, without any explaination. The castle mysteriously started to burn down, starting in the archives, within days any record of the kingdom's existence was gone. It became known as a myth amoung today's modern history, the myth is appropriately named The Lost Kingdom." The last periods history teacher explained, fully engrossed in the telling of this lesson. "The only thing left behind from this tragedy was a few documents, almost completely destoryed, filled with the names of everyone in the castle. This is the only evidence, save a few other scrapes, that this lost kingdom ever existed."
The bell rang almost immediately after the lesson ended. "Well I guess we'll be left on a cliffhanger today. Have a good weekend, don't do anything you wouldn't want your grandparents to know."
"Oh and (insert full name) I would like to have a word with you in the simulation lab in ten minutes."
This school itself doesn't seem special, it's nearly 100 years in our future, but it's a public school. The people in this school are special. This school trains people of all kinds, it has a simulation lab to train people in combat, areas of study, or simulate real life situations in preperation for the real world (the only thing most people really wanted to learn in school). It's a school of the future, when clear screen computers are the norm, and people have actual hoverboards.
This teacher asked upon this 17 year old for a very serious matter. You see this school secretly has been developing technology to determine histories many mysteries. In order to do so they've been developing a device that will be put into a specific person's brain, this person had a specific past life that will tell the true history.
By having this device in their brain they'll start to have flashbacks whenever they see certain people or interact with these people in a certain way. In other words they'll experience the memories of their past life in an instant.
The history being figured out at this school is the first experiment with the invention. Years of planning and research has led to this moment. You see the main people that are the reincarnations of the people involved in The Lost Kingdom, have been put into the same homeroom. The royal, the knight, and everyone who was involved in their story.
They all vary in ages and social status within the school. The student called upon to be the subject to test this device, is the one they assume to be the royal, a very popular student in the school. The knight, is assumed to be a student on the opposite end of the social ladder. The two will have to get along in some way for the history to be uncovered.
This roleplay is something I've been working out for a few days. If something doesn't make sense please tell me and I'll explain the best I can. In whole this role play will be about the royal and the knight. Through the device the reincarnation of the royal has there will be many flashbacks that are influenced by what they do in the modern world. These flashbacks will be the story of how the two met, fell in love, and how the kingdom disappeared. All the while in the modern world the two will start to actually revive history with their feelings.
This roleplay will have many flashbacks, half the time we'll be in the future while the other half is the past. Meaning we'll both have to develop two characters each that are every similar to eachother, one past and one future character each.
I would love to play the knight in this roleplay but I could just as easily do the princess. Meaning I'd prefer if someone would play the prince, but if you want to play the knight I won't really argue.
Imagine for a moment that you're sitting in a chair in a dark room, the room is very fancy. Furniture of the bedroom you sit in is dark wood and the bed has curtains on it, surely something that you'd probably see in a luxurious castle. It is however that you aren't alone in the room. A woman is standing in the corner of the room where you are staring. She's wearing a white nightgown, which seems innocent, the look on her face however says something else. It is in this moment that she walks towards you slowly and straddles your lap leaning down and kissing you on your lips. She looks down at you and this is when you realize her eyes are glowing an alarming red. In your confusion she's laid her hand on your chest and you feel a sensation somewhere between pain and burning flesh. You let out a scream in agony. When her hand is removed a strange symbol is now engraved into your chest. The woman she smirks as she looks down at you and suddenly...you're awake.
You wake up in your bed, in your apartment you've been in for a few months, breathing so fast you might pass out. You don't understand what just happened. The dream had felt so real. Unrealistically you pull your shirt off and look at your chest, no mark. Looking around you find that you're alone, it was only a dream after all.
Days later you've almost completely forgotten about the dream, you get coffee as you usually do in the morning, and you step out of the same old shop. Your eyes lock with a woman's across the street and your coffee cup falls out of your hand in shock, it's her. The woman in your dream, the one that started to seduce you before making you feel the worst pain of your life. It was only a dream, you say to yourself, your mind is just playing tricks on you.
There's still that taunting little thought in your brain though, what if it wasn't?
What if it did happen?
What if she's back to finish what she started?
...You're horrified...
You don't have any markings, you don't know who this woman is, but you feel overwhelming fear. This is when you quickly walk away and forget you ever saw her. You check behind to make sure she isn't following you, only to see she isn't there at all, she's gone.
As you sleep later that day you somehow wake yourself up as you start to experience the starting stages of the dream again. Only to find something probably more terrifying.
She's at the foot of your bed staring at you with a very puzzled look on her pretty face. What the hell do you do now?
This one's about satan.
Basically I got bored and came up with this after watching too much horror. It however could make for a really fun story. The woman is almost made out to be a succubus, except she's more like an incubus. So I'm just calling her straight up satan.
The plot for this story is basically going to whatever supernatural elements decide to happen. Your character will be the guy who's pretty much terrified by a woman he thought was a dream. While my character is going to be the devil, yours can be pretty much anything you want. He could be human, an angel, he could even be god if you really wnated him to be. That being said if he's going to be god than you'll have to be religiously tolerant, because that is going to get messy.
Sorry I'm going off on a tangent, probably not a good one at that. But this plot is just a supernatural plot that seems to start off an interesting story with no set plotline.
