Hope my post sufficed at depicting Missions #1 as the staff envisioned it. Ended up only placing a couple squads of Peacekeepers, but I've got the feeling BKS will be bringing quite the force with them to hold the line.

I think they already are. Both our posts have identified the HQ in the center at facing south, the S.E.S retreated to the HQ from the FIC, Kurai's forces dropped in the south. We established that the FIC is towards the south due to those posts. That would mean that she is fighting on the front lines of our misson, atleast i assume. If thats the case, you are going to run into her sooner or later.

Edit: Wait, why are people posting being attacked with bullets? I thought thought that the bread and butter of the KBots vanguard was only melee. And those bots are to big to be shooting small bullets like that.

Yeah, that's feasible. Although I stationed my character at the choke-point, I guess feel free to have yours do whatever? I'm not totally sure if Kurai actually intended for their character to wind up where she is/if they meant for her to be there, at the moment I'm gonna leave that up in the air until Kurai clarifies. Bots are still moving into the choke-point in waves, so it would make sense if Kurai is a few blocks down fighting possible assailants?

I'll have to have my forces meet up with yours at the choke point since I posted that they aren't that far off. Having my character see what going on on the front lines before making a move with his forces. Now that you have clarified you position I can add that to the post.

I think I need to emphasize what Cynder is saying here. Getting through plot fast is good and all, but it alienates slower posters and those with less time. We have a lot of people in this RP and a good number of them have yet to post. Maybe try waiting until 4-5 different people have posted before posting again, at least until most people have gotten intro posts done.

Well, I’m a “Reality Sprite”, but because I’m lazy and bad at explaining things, let’s just say that I’m an Angel, of sorts. But, not really. I have wings, and can fly with said wings. I have this nifty little “halo” that, other than defying gravity by floating over my head all the time, acts as a sort of “control” for my powers, helping me to focus and whatnot so I don’t accidentally blow something up or destroy a small universe.

Reality Sprites are not native to this world. Or any world, in fact. But we explore the vast multiverse in search of something fun to do that hopefully won’t cause something bad to happen. I hope that in this world, I can do something productive and helpful. As far as I know, that’s my purpose in life.

What abilities and powers do you have? Do you have any expertise or “special skills”? Please include them.

Physical/Genetic Abilities:

Flight - I can’t fly if my wings are soaked however.

Minor Shapeshifting - Unless the world I’m in requires me to take on a completely different form, I have 3 versions of myself that I can switch to at will. One to blend in with most humans, one where I am incapable of doing anything considered “Evil” by myself or my kind, and one where I can release my halo’s limits at will, giving myself an extreme boost in whatever I try to do, but at the cost of me possibly killing myself and/or everyone around me along with possibly destroying a universe. I don’t use that last one much.

Speed - Even without using any of my powers, I’m just plain fast. I can run a mile in about six minutes, and fly that same distance in two. Of course that’s tiring and I don’t like to do that so…

Powers:

As a Reality Sprite, I can control bits and pieces of reality itself. Memories, time, and things that a lot of people (more than a billion) know to be a certain way- such as, the Eiffel Tower is in Paris not Peru, or the fact that the sun rises in the East- are the only limits to this power. I can only do relatively small-scale stuff, at least with my limits on.

Teleportation - I can go anywhere, even into supposedly “imaginary” worlds, like those of a book or TV show. The multiverse is my oyster.

Reality Shift - I can "delete" things from existence, create things out of thin air, and move around Reality as we know it. want a snow day in june? there you go. turn a mountain into a molehill? got it, but I do have to put that back before long. part the seas? I'm not freaking moses here, but yea I can hold the water back for a little while. how about I add my face to Mt. Rushmore? No can do. That's a popular tourist-thing, too many people know how it's supposed to be.

Meddling - I can’t affect true memories, but I can create new ones. And I can’t stop or change time, but I can travel in it when moving between universes. I shouldn’t do this much, This powers is dangerous even with my limits on.

Comprehension_passive - I just, understand things. Quantum physics, why there’s no sound in space, how you feel about that person just now… It’s not mind reading, and I’m not super smart, but given basic information, I can figure things out and understand them perfectly in the terms of whoever I’m “learning” from. The knowledge comes and goes as needed, and as it’s not true learning, I never really remember most of what I “learn”.

Special Skills:

Observation - I like to watch things, and learn from what I see.

Are you skilled in certain types of combat? What type of weapon do you typically wield?

I fight way more than I’d like to. I have a sword that I like to use for close combat, and am a pretty good aim with any ranged weapon you wanna hand me. It’s hard for me to fight and fly at the same time so I’m more likely to teleport in a fight to surprise the enemy than I am to take off. I prefer to mess with the enemy by using my powers rather than fight them, it’s more fun that way.

What equipment do you typically carry into battle? Or feel comfortable carrying into battle?

No armor, no knives or guns or spell-books. Just me, my sword, and my mind.

Are you affiliated with any other organization? If so, please say who and your rank.

Nope. I’m just here to have fun and help people out.

Where in Guild City are you from?

I’m from outside the city, though when I first came here I fell in love with the Advanced areas. I often frequent Casual and Spam as well.

What has your life been like so far?

I’ve been traveling my entire life. I don’t really know anyone else of my kind, though there have been a few that came close. I’ve been on so many adventures, I can’t count them or even remember them all properly. I don’t know how long I’ve been alive, I don’t age at all, but it’s fun to see people I’ve come to care about live out their lives around me. Sometimes people ask me if I’m lonely. The truth is, I don’t know. I’m never alone, but I do feel like I might as well be alone for all the company some people are worth. I don’t think it bothers me.

2 platoons were deployed. 1st platoon the helljumpers have deployed to the south of the objective. 2nd platoon have deployed north of the objective. My character is in the south. The lieutenant commander has gone to clean up casual I think

The problem with complicated powers like minor reality shifting is that they generally only have 2 modes: useless, and overpowered. I probably shouldn't be talking, given that I have a reality shifting ability, though, mine is limited to small objects. I'm not sure how exactly you plan to use this ability, and I'm a bit wary of it, but I guess I'll leave the final decision to Cynder.

Edit: Also, I'm pretty sure that messing with memories is a bad idea.

I probably shouldn't be talking, given that I have a reality shifting ability, though, mine is limited to small objects. I'm not sure how exactly you plan to use this ability, and I'm a bit wary of it, but I guess I'll leave the final decision to Cynder.

My next post for Matheu is going to be this weekend. If anyone would like to get in on the Plugging Leaks action because those bots are NPCed smarter than how everyone else is paying them, then this is the invitation. If no one is interested in that mission, then it will come down to me soloing it in the future.
