The lone Demon Slayer always had a chip on her shoulder after the slaugher of her family and being the lone survivor. Her general disdain towards people gets her into trouble, but it isn't hard for her to like someone. Buy her some food or get her some shiny new weapons and Akane will probably compliment you through several layers of insults. Her life was hard and she often thinks about her loved ones, but rarely brings any of that up. Prying into her past may get you a glare or some information depending on her attitude that day. If anyone can get past the annoying confrontational attitude she appears to have Akane won't seem like a terrible person. Someone with an unhealthy love for fighting demons, and pissing people off,sure but not a horrible person.History: Akane was born into a small clan of Demon Slayers The Kurosawa Clan. They were an old family who protected the surrounding villages from Demon incursions and even hunted down Demons who were discovered before they could prove whether or not they were hostile. As a Kurosawa you were sworn to fight for the people and destroy the evil's that plagued the land. Akane was a small girl thrusted into the life of a warrior. She trained constantly like any other Kurosawa warrior and was taught how to fight, survive in the wilderness, Demons (types of Demons and hunting them), history of the family and some regions of Japan, and most of all how to serve the people. Akane wasn't the most healthy child and had to fight her heart condition everyday. She thrived off of excelling above her pears, and even saw herself better than them. The most annoying sibling and most difficult child was becoming a full fledged Demon Slayer which worried her family. Akane could fight faster and think ahead of anyone her age, but was never humble. A cocky arrogant child who thought she was better than everyone even those she served. It meant that one with the most potential to lead was incapable and it enraged her frequently that others were picked to lead a hunt.Akane was a hot headed teenager with a lot to prove, but even she knew fear. As she followed her mother who led the family on a hunt, they encountered an incredibly powerful Demon. It had ravaged the village and was accompanied by over a dozen demons. It was impossible for them to fight or even escape. As one by one the ones she loved died she fought to survive. Eventually her heart nearly gave out causing her to pass out completely. When the first thing a teenage girl wakes up to is the dead eyes of her brother something changes in her. The lone survivor could only return to tell the village what happened only to see it was too attacked and burned. There was no sign of the demon after that day and she could never get her revenge, so she left to journey and do what she did best.The land was always rife with problems both political and natural. Akane was generally apathetic to most human issues. Demons were her target and she wanted to prove that no Demon could ever stop her. She may been born weak and her family may be dead, but Akane truly believed that the trails she went through made her better than the enemy. Each battle brought new challenges and new threats. Akane gave up on finding the Demon who made her suffer, but was more than happy to meet the creature. To first thank it for making her stronger then making it suffer far worse than she has ever in her life. Even the thought of fighting more was becoming less about revenge and simply for the entertainment. Anyone willing to pay her to get rid of Demons were rewarded with their target's head on the doorstep. Daimyo have even called for her services to get rid of especially dangerous Demons that their military might couldn't find or get rid of. Its easy to call this Demon Slayer aimless which maybe true. At one point she wanted to lead the family and follow in their footsteps. Now she abandoned that wish and the wish for any family. Her own happiness came first and if her objectives helped or hurt others then so be it.Strengths: Cat-like ReflexesAkane has reflexes beyond any ordinary human. Able to dodge or even intercept arrows. The Demons she typically fights are fast and tough which makes them incredibly difficult to kill. Her high reflexes was the reason why she isn't missing any limbs. The Duelist An expert in combat she generally deals with demons through one on one combat. One on one she is able to defeat stronger and faster foes. Her skills would make her a very talented samurai and even a renowned one under the right Daimyo. Even some of the most skilled samurai and Ronin would find her technique impressive.Planner While an incredibly skilled combatant she generally shines as a highly competent hunter. The demons she hunt usually find themselves forced into positions where they can't escape. Akane enjoys outwitting her enemies and take great pleasure when they realize there is no where else to run.Weakness: - Akane isn't a very stealthy person. Its not because she can't, but its just not her way. As a trained Demon Slayer it would be necessary to use stealth against some enemies, but Akane likes the challenge. Cornering her enemy through the use of sound and presence works for her. - Due to her Heart condition Akane's stamina is lower than most veteran warriors. Its way she tends to want to end fights quickly rather than prolong it for too long. One on one its easier for her, but when facing multiple opponents in a prolonged battle things get complicated. She has had the training to overcome her condition enough to the point she has become a capable fighter. -Incredibly arrogant and even downright rude to many people. She generally has a low opinion of most people she meets as a rule. Even if they seem impressive any comment about their abilities is hidden behind a thick layer of snark. Its fairly difficult for her to work with others due to her general disposition towards others. -Akane has the tendency to antagonize others purposely. Either to start a fight or when she is generally bored. Its usually with anyone she thinks is tough. It can get her into plenty of fights.Likes: Loves Food, competition, Demons (well she enjoys fighting them), flowers, Sunsets, and annoying othersDislikes: Pacifists, birds (almost to a point of fear), and most humans Dream: Getting rich and many many women and men. Fear: Dying at the hands of a Demon.

Okay, she looks good, but she needs more weakness's. Since you say she can possibly be stealthy, that's mental. So you have three mental and one physical. I need three physical :p

Well it gets easier when you try and use what your character is good at against them. Your character may be smart as hell, but is so intelligent to the point that she rarely seriously consider that she might be god forbid wrong about something lol.

Physical weaknesses are the same thing. You can be very athletic and have a great deal of stamina. However you lack the ability to summon bursts of strength to over most opponents easily. Its still annoying to try and do it. At least it prevents you from making a perfect character which is boring.

Yeah, I agree. I personally don't like that my character doesn't like killing humans, but to me I was like that makes sense so it is a weakness. If given the chance a lot of people would create an OP character so it's good to have a balance.

Well at least she probably wont have to. She can just go order the fighters to do it xD she just needs to worry about evil spirits and demons.

Mizuki is adventerous, naive easily tired girl xD i forsee great struggles for the guardians to keep a eye on her xD

Akane generally won't care for dealing with anything that isn't a Demon. Probably let the normal human rabble fight them unless someone has the balls to attack her.

Maybe things could change, but she isn't the type to change easily. Hopefully being forced to work with other people for awhile may help her out. For now she might just piss a lot of people off.

Lol. They probably wouldn't listen to a Priestess. >.> She'd argue with them not to kill them probably.

And that's okay, Hanami will stick very close to Mizuki. You may get her killed though trying to protect Mizuki. :p Don't forget her intuition is very strong, almost Psychic like.

lol she probably will. Kaede definitely would interest her. Half Demons to Akane are just better looking Demons. All the awesome of fighting a Demon in a prettier package. I think she would generally like her personality. I do think that even though they both can be very rude the difference is Akane enjoys messing with people while Kaede shrugs and thinks what she said was okay lol. Of course Akane being a Demon Slayer may shake things up a bit.
