"No, it's okay, I'm going to stay here," Calix said. Not that he didn't trust Blake alone with his sister... actually, he didn't trust Blake alone with his sister. It wasn't anything personal, he just wanted to keep her safe. "So what, are you guys official?" Calix asked. Usually Adelfa would tell her these things, but she kept it more secretive with Blake. Look where that got her.

Akita was definitely disappointed. She wished it had been much more helpful, but it wasn't. They already knew that information, right? They needed more than that to win the war.
"Racing isn't illegal," Calix disagreed, "Street racing is illegal. It gets innocent people hurt and even killed."
"No problem," Akita said, handing him the journal. She was excited to see if this could really have the answer to the war.
"Yeah," Calix said, looking at his sister. He was learning a new level to this guy, but it still didn't excuse his negative influence.
@Ejected Oh snap, we could eventually have a sparring match between Valentina and Ally, especially since they're from different gyms. XD
"Alright," Akita said and walked to her designated area. She searched under all of their papers, pretty interested in a lot of them, until she finally found a journal. "Is this it?"
"Huh, I'm sorry to hear about that," Calix said, and he truly was. He couldn't imagine losing one of his parents, let alone both of them. "If that happened to them," Calix inquired, "why race?"

Alright everyone, the first post is up! What I would like is if everyone recaps a crime that has happened to them. It can really be any crime. This crime, however, is the crime that will get your character to finally break, to finally want to take justice into their own hands. It's what pushes them to finally make the push to risk their own lives and become a vigilante! The crime can be anything really, from having a parent who died in the past due to crime or to having your wallet stolen for the hundredth time!
How you go about recapping the crime is up to you, any form is okay. Actually, you don't really have to recap the crime itself, as long as your character mentions it and feels that motivation.
