Awki. And when does this tournament start rolling? August?
How does one qualify?
Lovin' it!
Heya fellas. Sorry for the long silence. Exams and shit like that (Got a B tho, so woh)

My prolonged inactivity stems from a different problem though. An encryption virus snuck onto my external disk and encrypted (Cryptowall 3.0) all my character files, amongst a few thousand concept pictures. Any of you happen to be a crack at solving that sort of thing? Or familiar with the issue? Killed the virus, and retrieved about half of the pictures through a shadow directory thing. Would be nice to see it -all- restored, however.

Anyone? xD

Oh, and friendly advice; backup your backups to a secondary non-plugged external disk. These kind of viruses obviously goes for identical file-names, even if they're on separate folders or drives.
@Green Id be down take you on, how about a UM ranked match? I wanna use Zai Matsu (CS in sig) for a modern setting, not decided on a battleground yet.

Let's do it!

Gimme a moment to figure out who I'll bring to the fight.

Edit: Just to clarify, which power level is Zai Matsu considered as?
You forgot me :O
I'm actually going to agree with the 3-tier system for a change. I've seen enough attempts at reworking the formula to know that it usually just becomes a whirlpool of a mess.

If the 3-tier system eventually ends up being a problem, I think we're more than capable to sort that out when the time comes.
Forests are great for simplicity.

Then they burn down.
I'm with the rest on that. Optional dice.

While I'm an avid tabletop roleplayer, where dice rolls are the norm, I don't feel it suits play-by-post text combat very well. Usually in tabletop fights, the combat comes down to what items you are using, in which order, and where you are standing when you are using them. Then you take measures to increase or decrease certain percentages of your dice rolls for attack and dodge, or whatever, and the rest is up to the gods of random chance. 1v1 duels tend to result in back-and-forth slugfests with little to no -tactic- employed other than different maneuvers and whatnot.

Looking forward to seeing this in action!

@Schradinger

Maybe even get that rematch going. Gods knows it's been long overdue ;)
