THE MORE AWESOMEST POTATO:
Let me properly introduce myself. I am Sir Spud the Fourth, and I have been a potato for the longest time ever. I never denied it to be completely honest, but it is only recently that I embraced it. Now I have evolved from a simple couch potato to a fully grown royal potato. A dapper kawaii potato. And I dare say, knowing that you are a spud, makes life a lot easier. Just chill and let everyone else care about all their meaningless things because at the end of the day you'll know: chilling is the way to go.
I try to spend minimal effort on things that I don't care about, and procrastination might as well be my middle name. But that doesn't mean I ONLY rest. Sometimes a 'tato gotta do what a 'tato gotta do. And if that something happens to be things I like, then you cannot find anyone better than me. I am an omnipotent being capable of virtually any task to a limited degree, and I am not shy to admit it. I may not be the MOST AWESOMEST in a thing, but I am sure as hell MORE AWESOMEST than most people are at everything. But hey, I'm not here to brag, even if I am probabaly better at it than you
THE DREAMER:
All those nights laying in my couch, I thought about the cool shit that I cannot do. That I cannot see. But I pictured them in front of myself like they were real, and that infuraited me. Then I found the Guild, and I lived happily after. I have been on the site for 2 years now, and I have seen many RPs, and played with many people. I wish I have found the site earlier, but I am glad that I've even found it. Now all those fantasies can be written down and my mind can rest at ease at night, without being constantly troubled by ideas.
When I RP, I love myself some good Sci-Fi or Fantasy. But hey I am filthy casual, I can go for anything with an interesting setting. I don't trouble myself on small details if the plot is good, but if you get somwthing wrong you can expect me to tell you about it. Some even go as far as to think that I am angry or something, but I am too chill for that. If anything I'm more of the funny type, so you can expect me to try and write some shitty jokes or post memes I found on the internet. Anyways, you'll see what I mean when we RP together.
THE ARTIST:
Used to be something else here, but I'm happy to say that it's replaced because of a positive change. I now work as a full-time 3D artist in the animation industry, churning out shot after shot for some of your favorite game intros and trailers. Can't say anything about them before you even ask, and even though I'm still new to the industry I love it and I already know that this will be my passion for a long time. So hopefully in a few years I'll have a proud portfolio of animations that were done by yours truly that I can show off to all the lovely people of the guild.
THE LOVER OF STUFF:
Now I may have hobbies like the above mentioned, but there are some more things that I love in life. Here is a handy list of things you can always talk about with me:
- Gaming: This one I am quite proud of, I'm a serious gamer with capital G. Not as much time for it nowadays, but still true.
- Music: All kinds of electronic music, but I am a sucker for Queen and Powerwolf. Or Breakbot... anything music.
- Anime: We all have an Otaku in us, but it's bigger for some people. For me it's just big enough.
WORDS OF WISDOM:
Be chill folks, getting fed up about stuff is a recipe for disaster. You gotta learn to be patient and let things go, or you'll end up a wrinkly old man/woman with only bad memories about life. Even if you do fuck-all every day, you can live a content life by taking things easy. With that said, as always, stay safe and stay classy.

Before we head any further into the RP I want to get one thing clear. I love the XCOM games. As fun as they are, they often make you want to break the keyboard with your forehead, because they are so ruthless and unforgiving. This only amplifies if you play Xenonauts which is a lot more accurate and keeps more of the old games aesthetics. But none of them make any sense. I never understood how a governement would back out from funsing an anti alien campaign which CLEARLY lacks funding, instead of giving it more money to do it's job. So I am here to test my theory, and to quell my interest. Roll teh curtains!
In a world that closely resembles ours, with people living in it just like us, things are not as fun as you mgiht think. the date is 1939 March 1 and the governements of the world are in terror. After decades of constant territorial fights, a few large empires annexed most other smaller countries shaping the world in different ways. Oppositions between them change the way the world works. Smaller countries struggle to maintain power and influence. Most from Unions to have a greater effect on their bigger neighbors. There is no such thing as UN and the word is in a constant MILD war era, so to say. But on this day humanity might have faced their biggest enemy yet. Not their own neighbors. Not their own. But extraterrestial life. At 0640 Standard Unified Time, scanners all around the world picked up an extremely strong pulse lasting around 4 seconds coming from somewhere around the rings of Saturn. Upon further investigation it was discovered that a fleet of massive battleships have entered the solar system and are heading straight for our planet (Mawei).
If we fight a war against our own species they mgiht scare us. They might initmidate us. But the fear of unknown instictively puts us in terror at teh sight of alien life. There is only so muchg the rival empires could do. As terror and chaos spreads nation wide, propaganda is heavely used to maintain the masses. By the end of the day, the whole world knows about the aliens. This is day of the breakdown. At 1500 hours the Sarav Coalition declares martial law, and soon the other countries follow. It is time to count down until the common enemy arrives. But will our species devour itself in fear before the biggest threat arrives? Or will it unite to repel extinction? Only the time could tell. 6 months from now.
Now I hope that is clear. In teh next 6 months everyone will want to do what they can to prepare. That emans invading others, starting wars or making peace. The world is in chaos. There is no singular goal amongst the split humanity. With the weapons avaible resembling early WW2 era, people need to act fast, and dwell deep into research, or fund an economy capable of repelling anything using masses. Now I hope you can all get the vibe I want to get from here. Save your asses. I want some very interesting nations to be planned out, and you can edit teh map that I will put in the hider below. Not that I want serious people to play, those who are willing to post till the RP dies because of old age. There are NPC nations that won't do much, but can be a good trade partner, and give you other benefits, so gaining them as allies might be a good idea. Borders should connect. You can put small NPC nations around your empire's border too, as long as they won't take up too much space. Have fun planning your nations culture and history!

As for all of you guys, here is some info. I will be palying PAIN, the narrator of the story, and the incredibly handy, Personal Artifical Intelligence Narrator. Yuuup. I will be there for all of you via a device in your brain tissue put inside you when you entered the portal. Think of me as an assistant or a dick who interrupts you at the worst time. What is ay goes the way I say, and there is nothing one can do about it. But you'll see it in action, because this is not a hundred percent welcoming XD.

@Snarfulblast You and me buddy, not only both adventurers, but rather travvellers lost in time that come in many shapes and forms, each sharing an individuality so closely resembling the others. You and me buddy, we are alike. You are ,as much as it doesn't sound all that impressing, from now on offically part of the Sly family! That means that you'll have a day only about you on the 16th of February (been celebrating for like 8 years now XD) and the impressing quality of any Sly. Why you ask?
