Because a sad Shiro is a bad Shiro, and Gren likes a happy Shiro. Gren knows that Shiro is probably bummed that he doesn't have parents for parents day, so Gren wants Shiro to be happy some other way. Probs with that wrestling thing, or if Gren wants to gamble, introducing Shiro to his folks.

Of course Gren would introduce the whole team to his family when they come around.
