@FlitterFaux@Lucius Cypher@MULTI_MEDIA_MANEmerald gasped audibly as Gren told his sad story about how he was no longer seeing his girlfriend.
That's...that's so sad! She was about to try and comfort Gren, but the boar faunus rapidly changed mood and subject on her, which caught her off guard.
"R-Right! Will see you there after you eat. And of course you can come Scoot!" Emerald abruptly got up from her seat, waiting for Anna to do the same.
"You better stay close to me Anna, the Boogeyman likes to snatch new students who don't know their way around Beacon!" With that solemn note, Emerald led the way to the dorms, but not before turning her head and looking back at Gren briefly.
Stay strong Gren! Things will get better!"I think you'll like Diamond and Oswald. They can get grumpy sometimes though, probably cause they don't eat enough cheerios..." Emerald said as they walked through the hallways.
"...and Cobalt, well he's alright I guess, he's kind of wishy washy for a team leader though. He needs to grow a backbone..." It didn't take very long before they arrived at the correct door.
"Well here it is! The home of team CODE!" Emerald abruptly slammed the door wide open.
"Hey Oswald! I'm here! I brought my new friend too!"-------------------------------------------
Emerald had barely managed to sleep through the night, after all the insanity that had happened the day before it was hardly surprising. She saw her parents, got some bad ass upgrades to her weapons, and had a new soul sister to boot. But that wasn't even the craziest thing that happened! No it only got crazier from there.
First, Oswald dropped the bomb and told her that Cobalt had left Beacon and was no longer part of the team. Now, Emerald hadn't gotten along with Cobalt much, but she had started to warm up to him, and then he left without even a goodbye! She found that she missed him more than she thought.
She would have still been sad about the loss of Cobalt, if it wasn't for the fact that Anna had replaced him as her new teammate! It was literally the best thing that could have happened given the circumstances. She had become soul sisters with the new girl, and now they were bunk mates! Their team name had been changed to DAEO, or Team Dandelion. Even Emerald had to admit that was a bit of a stretch, but it was growing on her.
Heh...growing...I get it. Bleh...stupid...And yet, this was still not the most shocking thing that had happened to her yesterday. Eventually both her parents had come over to the dorm to visit and see her friends, but they also had some pretty heavy stuff to tell their daughter.
She had an older sister. Like an
actually-related-by-blood sister. Technically they were half-sisters, they had different mothers, but that really didn't matter to Emerald. She had nearly fainted at the news, all the excitement of the day had short circuited her mind for a moment. What was really crazy is that they were both attending Beacon. She actually did faint at that.
When she recovered she got more details, and nearly ran out the door to go talk to her newly discovered sister. Her dad stopped her before she even reached the door knob. He didn't say too much on why, but her sister needed time to take it all in. He asked Emerald to give her sister some space and not to overwhelm her. Emerald didn't like it but she agreed to keep her distance for the time being.
In the present day, three classes had already flown by and Emerald could hardly recall what had happened in any of them, it was all a daze. Her mind had been consumed with thoughts about the events of yesterday, so much so that she hardly even payed attention to where she was walking through the halls as she headed towards Armory class.
