"Eh, forget it, goggles are lame anyway..." Emerald said dismissively to Gren. Oswald didn't seem interested in the goggles anymore, and Emerald didn't really care to work on them alone anyway.

As Gren took his leave, Emerald resorted to looking around the classroom. There were a few people in class that she didn't recognize at all.

First thing that caught her attention was the girl with the otter tail. Emerald was pretty sure she'd never seen the other Faunus before, and she was fairly good at remembering faces. The otter girl was talking to some hot guy who she also didn't recognize.

And wait a sec, is that a lion Faunus? Seriously, where did all these people come from?

Getting pretty tense over here I see.

Ok I'll leave now.
I can't believe last time we rp'ed Armory Class was two fucking years ago. I had to look up my old posts from then to remember what I even did lol.

Now you wouldn't expect it, but Emerald actually knew a thing or two about designing gear and weapons. She had built her original weapons after all. Of course her dad had helped her a TON with the design and pretty much everything, but still, it wasn't like she didn't learn anything from that.

She listened to Gren as he explained how he'd design Oswald's new gear. It was actually some pretty awesome stuff, Reactive Armor sounded badass. For now all this was distracting her from her more troubling thoughts, except when Oswald mentioned their last mission, that made her visibly shiver and flinch as if she could still feel that blade slicing into.

Ugh, don't think about that...

She shook that thought out of her head, there was no use thinking about that anyway, her wound was still there, but all it did was feel sore really at this point, by the end of the week it would be all healed.

Just in time to get injured again on our next mission, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay...

She blinked.

Damn that was unusually pessimistic of me...I need to distract myself.

Oh right, there were the goggles they'd been working on! She still needed to work on...a lot of the more technical stuff.

"That shield sounds freakin awesome. Though we also need to work on our goggles, remember Oswald?"

"Eep!" Emerald nearly jumped out of her skin when Anna surpise hugged her. She'd been so preoccupied with her thoughts that she hadn't seen her soul sister coming.

"Oh hey Anna, I'm doing alright I guess, it's just a lot to take in and process ya know? I think I'm still in shock about it." Emerald was more in shock about what her dad had told her than anything else. She'd had an older sister all this time and she never knew! She basically gained two sisters yesterday, that was crazy!

She followed Anna to where Gren and Oswald were conspiring on something...most likely developing weapons of some sort. "Whatcha guys plotting?"
Damn I missed all the fun
Welp spent six credits for a major semblance upgrade

Yesterday

Emerald gasped audibly as Gren told his sad story about how he was no longer seeing his girlfriend. That's...that's so sad! She was about to try and comfort Gren, but the boar faunus rapidly changed mood and subject on her, which caught her off guard.

"R-Right! Will see you there after you eat. And of course you can come Scoot!" Emerald abruptly got up from her seat, waiting for Anna to do the same. "You better stay close to me Anna, the Boogeyman likes to snatch new students who don't know their way around Beacon!" With that solemn note, Emerald led the way to the dorms, but not before turning her head and looking back at Gren briefly.

Stay strong Gren! Things will get better!

"I think you'll like Diamond and Oswald. They can get grumpy sometimes though, probably cause they don't eat enough cheerios..." Emerald said as they walked through the hallways. "...and Cobalt, well he's alright I guess, he's kind of wishy washy for a team leader though. He needs to grow a backbone..."

It didn't take very long before they arrived at the correct door. "Well here it is! The home of team CODE!" Emerald abruptly slammed the door wide open. "Hey Oswald! I'm here! I brought my new friend too!"

Tuesday – Class Day

Emerald had barely managed to sleep through the night, after all the insanity that had happened the day before it was hardly surprising. She saw her parents, got some bad ass upgrades to her weapons, and had a new soul sister to boot. But that wasn't even the craziest thing that happened! No it only got crazier from there.

First, Oswald dropped the bomb and told her that Cobalt had left Beacon and was no longer part of the team. Now, Emerald hadn't gotten along with Cobalt much, but she had started to warm up to him, and then he left without even a goodbye! She found that she missed him more than she thought.

She would have still been sad about the loss of Cobalt, if it wasn't for the fact that Anna had replaced him as her new teammate! It was literally the best thing that could have happened given the circumstances. She had become soul sisters with the new girl, and now they were bunk mates! Their team name had been changed to DAEO, or Team Dandelion. Even Emerald had to admit that was a bit of a stretch, but it was growing on her. Heh...growing...I get it. Bleh...stupid...

And yet, this was still not the most shocking thing that had happened to her yesterday. Eventually both her parents had come over to the dorm to visit and see her friends, but they also had some pretty heavy stuff to tell their daughter.

She had an older sister. Like an actually-related-by-blood sister. Technically they were half-sisters, they had different mothers, but that really didn't matter to Emerald. She had nearly fainted at the news, all the excitement of the day had short circuited her mind for a moment. What was really crazy is that they were both attending Beacon. She actually did faint at that.

When she recovered she got more details, and nearly ran out the door to go talk to her newly discovered sister. Her dad stopped her before she even reached the door knob. He didn't say too much on why, but her sister needed time to take it all in. He asked Emerald to give her sister some space and not to overwhelm her. Emerald didn't like it but she agreed to keep her distance for the time being.

In the present day, three classes had already flown by and Emerald could hardly recall what had happened in any of them, it was all a daze. Her mind had been consumed with thoughts about the events of yesterday, so much so that she hardly even payed attention to where she was walking through the halls as she headed towards Armory class.
