Bio: Aleksei was born and raised around crime. Russian crime. It was something no one ever talked about. But it was all over the place where he grew up. His father was a drunk who would make his and his mother's lives hell when he wasn't out stealing something, burning something down or beating someone to within an inch of their life.
Aleksei never liked to be at home because of that. So, he would often go out and look for trouble to cause. Eventually he started taking his dad's guns with him. At 14 he was a chip off the old block, going out and getting wasted with a crew of heavy metal misfits who came from similar backgrounds. They partied and sold drugs. Sometimes they'd rob apartments or go graffiti tagging. Occasionally they'd steal a car or hold up a store.
Then, over the past three years, most of the others got arrested. Meanwhile his mother tried to convince him more and more to leave and get away from this lifestyle. She said that he should leave it all behind and go somewhere where noone knew him and get an honest job. Of course, he didn't do this. He kept right on playing with the fire until it turned into a blaze.
He had just gone out with his remaining friends and vandalized an orthodox church. It was something they had always talked about but never actually done. And now on that they had, they felt like they had completed a rite of passage. They felt immortal. Especially Aleksei. And when he went home and heard his father upstairs beating on his mother, he did something he never had the courage to do before. He confronted him.
A fight broke out almost immediately between the two. Aleksei and his father were beating the hell out of each other. Unfortunately, neither one of them sober. Unthinking, his father threw him at the bedroom window with enough force that he smashed right through it and fell to the pavement in front of their house. When he came racing out the house, realizing that he might have killed the boy, Aleksei shot him dead with his own gun before losing consciousness.
