Known history and secrets: Personality:Souichiro has always grown up with the saying "actions speak louder than words" as his mantra. He simply takes it in a more literal sense than most. A man of very few words, Chiro has always been a traditionalist when it comes to his ninja practices. When he was a young child he was made to read the scrolls depicting the battle of the Sanin against Hanzou and instanly fell in love. Chiro is caring but always expects the best from those around him. He will turn any and everything into a competition. His expectations are high and he can come across as uncaring and aloof. That being said, underneath his exterior is a Sensei that cares to see his students excel and become the best they can be.
[ b]History[/b] Chiro turned up in the village one day at a younger age and was taken in by the elders. He was taught the ways of the ninja from an early age to keep him out of trouble and to give him something to do. He loved learning these things. At the age of 13, he graduated from the ninja academy after having a very tough time controlling his chakra and jutsu. He realised that his was a set of techniques that was very different to the other kids in the village. As a genin, Chiro tried very hard to develop new techniques but was not very proficient at learning them. For a long time Chiro got by simply on his high intellect and his passion for studying the ways of the ninja. This all changed one evening when he was studying his shadow late at night. He noticed that focusing on the outlines of the shadow allowed him to manipulate it. After days of experimenting he found the shadow possesion jutsu through dumb luck. He continued to work on these techniques and used them to bolster his traditional ninja persona that he was already trying to carve for himself.
At the chunin exams he performed very well simply because his kekke genkai was one that no one had seen before and no one knew how to combat it. (Dumb ass kids). Currently he is a Jounin.

User extends their shadow. Once it comes into contact with a target's shadow, the two merge and the target is forced to imitate the user's movements. Therefore, the two can throw shuriken at each other at the same time if the user desires that (of course, to prevent hurting themselves, the user just has to have the shuriken holster in a place where you don't normally have it, like the back, so that the opponent draws nothing when the user draws a shuriken). If the target is out of range, the user can produce a better light source to increase their shadow's size or rely on pre-existing shadows for their shadow to freely travel through.

Kage Nui is a Ninjutsu technique developed by the Nara clan. To perform the technique Shikamaru will first form the needed handseal to extend his shadow. Chiro will then change the handseal to cause the shadow to emerge from the ground in tendrils. The tendrils can extend and whip about and are strong enough to pierce nearby targets.

This jutsu creates an area of complete darkness around the victim, enabling the user to attack without being seen.
Earth Release: Tearing Earth Turning Palm

This technique causes the ground surrounding the enemy to spiral inwards on itself, burying them alive or crushing them. This technique is capable of causing quite a bit of damage to the area. This technique is much more damaging if used in rocky mountainous areas, or inside a cave.

The user plays an audible note on an instrument and lulls the opponent into a genjutsu from this point the user can project small changes into the world around him which psycologically affect the opponent. If a longer song is played then the user can create more vast changes however the opponent must hear every note of the song for this to work. If any note of the song isnt heard then the technique will fail.
