War Of The Covens

I think its an interesting concept. I am somewhat interested but it would depend on the mechanics of it.

If they are going to be in different geographical locations around the country, then how are they going to interact?

Are the covens going to represent a certain type of magic? For example: Necromancy, Elemental, Divination. Where you have members of all 4 covens in one city?

For their to be drama and tension, they need to be physically close enough to interact. Will everyone be a witch or warlock? Does the general populace know magic exists or are they trying it to hide that from the normal folks without magic?

Technically I might have different terms for magic users like mage, wizard, etcetera but I was thinking that witch and warlock are the essentials for now. Covens represent the general directions of the compass, North, South, East and West. They have specializations but don't represent a type of magic, though since they specialize they have more information on certain magic types than others. The population is beginning to suspect something is wrong and very weird but they don't know if it's really magic or not. As for how they meet, there's divination, teleportation and portals to and from certain areas.

War Of The Covens

There are four great Covens at war in America. (names to be decided.) These Covens each suspect the other of horrendous crimes. None of the Covens involved are actually at fault for these gruesome deeds. However, with all Covens framed for evil deeds, their neighbors now suffer in the Great Coven War.

The premise is that the witches and warlocks are basically discovering more about the crimes committed, and at first will fight with each other. The general power level of starting protagonists is City Block Level. You are elite magic users.

Magic Type: Warlock/Witch (A witch is a magic user of any kind, a warlock is a purely offensive oriented spell caster.)
Magic Abilities And Spells: You start with three Abilities and can use spells that you PM me to me. Abilities don't require spell ingredients or much to use and are instantaneous.
