◈ You need to be willing to chat back and forth separate from our roleplay.
◊ I like getting to know my roleplay partners as people. It helps me connect to their characters more.
◊ It makes it easier to world-build and plot, which is
important. I simply can't roleplay if I don't know where we're going.
◈ Be willing to work with my schedule.
◊ I am a high school senior with more than a full schedule, lots of extracurricular activities, and a part-time job.
Thus, I am only going to be on at night. ◊ Even on busy weeks, I will always try to reply three or so times to our roleplay.
◊ On weekends, I will be on late into the night, as in, you might get a roleplay reply at 2:00 AM.
◊ I'll always let you know when
impending doom finals approach, or other time-gobbling events.
◈ If you work with me, I'll work with you. But if you ghost on me, we're through.
◊ I understand life can happen quickly, however, if you vanish and reappear without explanation regularly, expect a break-up message.
◈ If you aren't enjoying a roleplay or want to terminate it, please let me know. Again, just don't ghost.
◈ I will roleplay in the forum or via PM, but I will
not roleplay offsite or via email.
◊ On that note, I might respond to our chat threads from my mobile, but I will never reply to a roleplay that way. Ever.
Writing Style and Preferences
◈ I am fairly literate, my posts a generally multiple paragraphs.
◊ However, if a post is dialogue driven, it will be shorter, for obvious reasons.
◊ I also give back what my partner gives me. If you consistently only post a paragraph, my style will mimic that.
◈ As mentioned above, I love world-building and plotting.
◈ Though my roleplays often contain romance, I prefer it to only be one aspect of the plot, and not the entirety of the story.
◊ I blame my past partners more than myself (lol), but most of my former roleplays had an element of dominance and submission.
◈ I often write a new character for roleplays. I'll play any gender or sexuality, and do any pairing.
◊ I have a few standbys, but they are altered often to better fit story lines.
◊ I also genderbend them so much that I can hardly remember what gender I initially wrote them as.
◈ I
DON'T do any of the following:
◊ Furry/anthropomorphic characters (unless it is in some sort of fantasy setting where it makes sense, plotwise).
◊ Slice of life stories with no real overarching plot.
◊ Uninspired "feral" roleplays. There has to be a really good plot to get me hooked.
◊ Fandom roleplays, for two different reasons:
◅ They've left a bad taste in my mouth. People get bent out of shape and leave no room for creativity.
◅ I don't like using preexisting characters. It feels like plagiarism.
◈ Anything that isn't above is fair game! I'm incredibly open-minded. Have a weird plot no one has ever wanted to do? I'd probably give it a go.
