@Tomotaxi I'd like say that I could get my CS done by tomorrow night but, knowing me, that might be too optimistic :/

In any case, it'll either be that or the night after.
Aight, cool. I'll get started on my app right away.
So the CS template says that most fantasy races are acceptable to play as...

Would werewolves be one of them, by any chance? I was gonna go either that, or a human that had been bitten by one and thus has to choose between tracking down a cure or accepting the whole lycanthropy shtick, but I can think of something else if that isn't OK.
Still here

Well, Beau had seen the creature that the girl was talking about, but he'd purposely put the vision out of his mind so he could prioritize on trying to help the girl up. As such, he had no idea that he'd just put himself within striking range of the creature itself, nor did he realize just how vulnerable that would really make him.

It wasn't until the creature made its move on his life that Beau reacted, rising to full height and holding his arms out in an X fashion in an effort to defend his vital organs. Thankfully, it retracted its hand just at the last second, and seemed content on waiting for Beau's next move, eyeing him up closely. Still, the fact that it didn't even hesitate with its attack was enough to frighten Beau. He slowly lowered his arms, and took a moment to calm his breathing and steel himself again.

"So they are real..." Beau said aloud, to no-one in particular.

...

Another guy had arrived at the scene, only to recoil at the sight of the creature that just tried to attack Beau. Then came a girl whose face was familiar to Beau. If he recalled, she was the one who noticed the random fish in the community kitchen's microwave, and berated the guy who put it in there. She seemed more concerned about the fog's origins than anything but, while Beau wondered about that himself, he could identify the more pressing issue that was right in front of him... among others.

"Never mind the fog; what do we do about this thing in front of us?" Beau queried.
So... I kinda binned my sheet out of thinking this RP was dead, and now I'm heavily regretting it :/

...

It'll certainly take me a while to even get it back to the state that I had it at (never mind fully completing it), but I'm hoping to get it done by... a couple days, I wanna say.
This definitely looks interesting. I do have a quick question before I get started on an app.

Are there any known cases of inter-species crossbreeding in this universe? I'm actually considering making a damphir, but I can swing to full vampire or full boring ass human if it'd fit the situation better.

Not 100% sure about what abilities I want her to have atm, but I do know that I also want her to be a gunslinging cowgirl. Cause gunslinging is cool :]

Supposing there was nothing for it, Beau continued going in the direction he was originally headed, with as confident a stride as he could muster. That way, he'd hoped that he could learn more about what was going on out here, as well as deduce whether or not he truly was the only person in all of London that was seeing this. The sooner he could eliminate that disturbing thought as just a seed of paranoia trying to sprout outwards and not a true part of this god forsaken reality, the better.

As limiting as this fog was to his sense of vision, Beau did manage to catch the odd glimpse of black in the far yonder. He stopped at the first sighting to examine it but, try as he might, he couldn't shake off the possibility that this may have been a hallucination created by the fog itself. As such, the sanest thing Beau could think of was to ignore any additional sightings for now and move on.

However, he noticed someone in front of him that he could identify as human. It was a girl, and she seemed to be in the process of fainting. Whether that was due to the shock from this whole experience, Beau couldn't possibly tell. But if there were to be any chance of saving the girl from her own collapse, he'd have to hurry. Beau rushed over immediately, holding one arm out in front of the girl to prevent her from falling too far forward, and investing a solid grip on her shoulder with the other hand; not so tight as to wind up hurting her and consequently undermine his show of concern, but more than firm enough to aid in her stabilization. That sudden lurch forward Beau had to do was enough to bring him down to one knee, but due to the surprising disparity between girl's height and his own, he could see her at relative eye level despite this fact.

"Hey; are you alright?" Beau asked the girl.

He maintained his grip on her shoulder for the moment, only willing to let go after ascertaining that she could still stand on her own two feet.

Sure enough, Beau's first day back at the university was proceeding as normal for now. His metalworking degree was meant to be more of a practical class but, as per usual of a university, there was still a good chunk of lecture in there. And since Beau was more of a kinesthetic learner than anything, almost none of that lecture part was sticking. Still, he learned something out of it, so it wasn't a complete waste of time. Still, by the end of the day, he was glad that it was over and he could return home.

Beau had planned to make a quick grocery run before returning to his dormitory, and went out the back entrance since it'd be closer to get to where he needed to go. But right at the second he left that way, a thick, mysterious fog had completely surrounded the fog around him.

"The hell?" confused about the sight of this, Beau instinctively reached for his phone, "I could've sworn the forecast was meant to be..."

He was about to say the word "sunny", but as he observed the top of his screen in detail, he could only bite his lip and blow out of it to make a big long resounding F. Just his luck; not only did a gargantuan mass of fog materialize from quite literally out of nowhere, but it was at that exact moment that Beau's phone decided to be as good as dead to him. And furthermore, there was no-one around to verify that they seeing the same thing he was. Was this supposed to be some kind of warning sign that Beau was unaware of?

With a sigh of defeat, Beau pocketed his phone again and continued on his way for now. He remained vigilant of his surroundings; that much made sense to him. But there was no use being paranoid about what one couldn't control...
