Jett Haven,

Feat. @Feyblue

Jett smiled at Kasuke’s final comment, before she abruptly left he said quickly, “The kind no one expects.”

He watched her walk away with his head cocked to the right. He followed her over and picked a seat to the right of her. But he didn't sit down. Kenichi spoke up at them and he looked toward him and shook his head. “It ended a bit ago, there were a bunch of us in the nurse's office.”

He looked around and notice Elvira wasn't here. “Oh Jeeze…” he said softly. Taking off his jacket to save his seat and tipped the chair next to him to save it as well. He looked to Mina. “Excuse me…” he didn't even know why he excused himself, it wasn't like they were in the middle of a conversation. It was his Proper etiquette showing…probably.

He started over towards the door but decided to ask Fumika how she did. He figured she was out because Mina said she took over A. But wanted to know if it was that giant kid who took her out or what happened.

He stopped beside her and smiled at her, “Hey Fumika, how did you do? “ He rubbed his right temple as he asked, his headache, while not as bad as it was a few minutes ago was still pretty annoying.

The blonde-haired girl didn’t turn to look up at him, but rather simply leaned back her head, craning her neck backwards to stare upside-down over one shoulder at the one who’d addressed her. ”Jett? Why am I a cookie?” She asked without any prior prompting, speaking this utter non sequitur with a completely straight face.

There was silence. Her antenna of hair wobbled a little bit to the other side as she blinked once, very slowly, in an oddly thorough sort of way as if she was trying to put herself to sleep, wake back up again, and thus reset her mind to deal with a new situation. Evidently finished “rebooting,” she slowly stood up, shaking her head back and forth.

“Sorry. I got distracted,” She said, evidently in regards to her earlier question, but as she continued, it seemed more like that was her answer to his question. “I was supposed to just distract them and call when it was safe, but I was pinned down by Yoshida instead, so I couldn’t escape or make a signal.” As she continued her “explanation,” she spoke with the utmost seriousness, stating fact as casually as if she was describing the weather. But, the way she phrased things was… significantly less than ideal. “He took it gently at first, but then it got more difficult to keep up. He’s really strong and fast, and I couldn’t really handle it very well, so after we were done I passed out.”

Jett was so confused by Fumika’s first question, that he didn't have a chance to respond before she continued to answer him. As she described it, Jett's face began to redden. How could he not!? A bead of sweat came down his cheek. She was so serious, he shook his head, she couldn't mean she was doing… THAT. He raised a finger to stop her when she seemed to finished her explanation. But she then added to it.

“But he said just now that he couldn’t move afterward, so does that mean I beat him? I just felt really sleepy and took a nap, and I think there was a comfy pillow for some reason - why was that even there, anyway? -But he was still awake and couldn’t move. That means I won, right?”

Wait what a pillow? Did they plan for this!? Jett cleared his throat, his head tilting to the side, as if it would help him figure out what was happening. Fumika stood there expectantly, cocking her head to the same side and raising her own pointer finger like a mirror of Jett himself, but her expression still didn’t change from that same placid stare. Her eyes fluttered momentarily, and she blinked again - slowly, and very, very thoroughly. “Um… are we… still.”

Pausing as she copied him. A slight smirk on his face as she did so, why was she doing that? He had noticed it before as they were making a plan for the training grounds with Lysander. Remembering his previous thought, he continued his question. “We are still talking about a fight, right?” He looked to Yoshida with a surprised look, hoping he was paying attention to Fumika. He looked back to Fumika and added. “Right?!” he asked again, a bit of confused worry in his tone.

Fumika looked at Yoshida. She blinked a third time, even more thorough than the last, as if processing the question she’d just been asked. She looked back to Jett, her lip curling into a quizzical mimicry of his own former smirk as her head tilted a little further to the side. “We are. Wasn’t it obvious? I didn’t think… Hmm... What else would I be talking about?” That choice of words… There was no way she wasn’t mocking him, right? That had to be sarcasm - it had to be! So then why was it that she still seemed absolutely, straight-facedly, bluntly serious? She cleared her throat all of a sudden, looked away, blinked once more, and then looked back, as if mentally preparing herself for… something. And then, to set the record straight, she…

“We went at each other with everything we had, spared nothing, and both were so totally floored afterward that they had to pick us up and bring us back here!” This concise “summary” burst out of her mouth with entirely too much enthusiasm and volume to be called modest. But also, oddly enough, it was spoken with a level of energy and inflection completely unlike the way Fumika normally talked, not even to mention the sudden shift to very informal, tomboyish, perhaps even crude phrasing. Was she trying to mimic somebody? Who? Regardless, she smiled to herself as if congratulating herself on a job well done, and then lapsed back into her normal speaking tone as she cleared her throat once again, and then sat back down. “Even if I didn’t win, it was a good fight. I did a little better this time than normal, and Yoshida says I’ll get even better if I try harder next time.” She stopped for a moment, then placed a single finger on her chin as if in contemplation, evidently oblivious to the looks of shock she was receiving. ”Oh. Right. I went all-out, but I’m not sure if Yoshida did. He said that was his strongest technique, though… So I guess he did, too.”

Jett was semi relieved when she answered that she was indeed talking about the fight...yet the tone was… still confusing. He couldn’t get a read on the girl. Was she still serious or messing with him. She seemed too innocent to be even talking about this casually. And Still she continued, which someone could take seriously. But now with that image in his head...he couldn’t get rid of it. His eyes kept looking to Yoshida and back to Fumika. No.. it couldn’t happened… She was… and he was… it just didn’t work out, but you never knew.

Raising a hand, just going to go with it… he had to be taking it wrong. Yeah thats right. “That’s… awesome to hear! I’m glad you...went all out.” Fumika simply nodded, seeming… glad? As if she was just relieved that he understood what she meant. That face was far, far too innocent to be associated with any of the words he’d just heard or the unwelcome image in his brain. The fluffy blonde raised a hand once more in mimicry of him, then simply looked expectantly up at him, as if waiting for something. Between that calm stare of hers and the way her bangs fluffed outward like ears… She seemed oddly like a loyal dog, holding out her paw to shake. Right. There was no way. There was absolutely no way that this could be talking about that.

Jett stood there for a moment, unsure what Fumika was waiting for. His face visibly confused as he bit his lip and his brow was furrowed. What ever she was waiting for he couldn’t think straight enough anymore. He just… couldn’t look at her the same anymore. Even if she looked so innocent and happy with herself. He had to do something. ANYTHING, to get away from this situation. He had to clear his head and come back to this later.

Forcing a very strained smile his raised hand, which was still up, leaving his only his index finger while his other hand came up and mimicked his left. “I….I’m gonna go now... “ Both of his hands twisted and pointed towards the door. “I got to find a friend. Whoooo is not here. But should be.”

Fumika’s brow furrowed much like his own, and her lips pursed as if she was suddenly very deep in contemplation. Still, when he said he was going to leave, she didn’t make any move to stop him, but rather simply broke off from staring at him, her gaze falling down to the floor as if crestfallen. She blinked again, and her frown slowly untwisted itself before she finally looked up again. The hand she still had raised wobbled just a little bit from side to side, giving what was less of a wave and more of a surprisingly, unintentionally accurate imitation of the Queen of England at a parade.

“Okay,” She said at last, sounding only a little disappointed in comparison to her earlier burst of enthusiasm. ”Bye-bye.”

He suddenly felt guilty, the disappointment in her voice cut him to the core. Intentional or not, He quickly added. “B-but I’m coming back.” Of course he was coming back, but he felt maybe he had to make that clear. His fingers pointing to the door moved towards himself, back to the door and then pointed down. A brief pause, looking at her in the eyes to try and get a final read on her before mimicking her farewell. “Bye-bye.” Before taking slow steps sideways, his eyes still watching her for a moment. Why the hell did he just copy her? He shook his head, 'idiot...' he thought to himself before looking at Yoshida. He managed to look him in the eyes and gave him a disgusted look. His right hand shot up to his face, his index and middle finger pointing at his eyes as he stared the fellow student down. He then pointed towards Yoshida, then back to himself, then finally on Yoshida once more. He kept it there as he walked away towards the door, his middle finger curled into his fist leaving only his index finger pointing while his eyes never left the student as he rounded the corner and into the hallway.

Fumika sighed and sunk deeper into her chair. She’d been hoping to hear how things had gone for the rest of the team, but hadn’t found an opportunity to bring it up, since Jett had seemed very confused, even worried about something. She’d cleared things up, though, although where she’d been mistaken before, she wasn’t certain. Everything was fine now… right? He hadn’t seemed as worried when he’d left the room… But why had he done that thing with his hand? Was that supposed to be some kind of signal? She didn’t get it. Jett was strange. Come to think of it, she called him Jett and he called her Fumika, just like Yoshida and the pink girl called each other by name. Did that mean they were best friends, too? When had that happened? She was making a lot of friends today. She already had twice as many as she’d had back home, and it was only the first day. Oh, but Jett couldn’t be her best friend, because she already had Haruka. She needed to tell Haruka that everything was alright, though, come to think of it. Fumika was sure that she’d be proud of her. She just hoped that she wouldn’t misunderstand anything. It had been hard enough explaining things to Jett. No matter how she looked at it, he’d been acting strange… But he’d been trying to act like her at the end there. Then, did that mean…?

“Maybe I really am strange,” She mused aloud.

Jett let a huge sigh of relief escape his mouth when he rounded the corner. That was awkward… he thought to himself as he took a second to look around. Right, he had to find Elvira. The girl was sure to be exploring the school by herself. She was just like a toddler sometimes. It was his responsibility to keep an eye on her at school, to be there when his grandfather couldn’t.

He started to walk the halls, glancing into classrooms. Some full, some not. He just hoped he would find her soon. As he continued to walk, he also continued to rub his forehead. Something wasn’t write, he felt off still...it wasn’t just a headache anymore. He felt he was forgetting something…

He looked around the corner and saw Elvira standing at a door of a classroom. “Elvira!” He called to her. He moved towards her and continued,“Elvira… come on, we need to be going to class…”He gently took a hold of her wrist and part of her hand in his own to guide her back to the classroom when he turned to look into the room she was looking in. There was a female student dancing (Extremely well by the way) in the empty room...she was even taller than ‘Smalls’! Holy shit.
@Zeroth I ment to mention you, not me lol
@Aerandir and Elvira is going to find out Dugals secret. So she is not in the class room
@Zerothi think we agreed in discord that dugal is in A-2 classroom for the moment because you and fumi got in class first
Jais Hisakawa Kiwi

Nurses office...

Once they reached the entrance to the infirmary, Jais immediately jumped off the back of the jeep and Carefully lifted Jett out. Nodding to Elvira she did a good job and hurried him into the building.

“Nurse Kiwi!” He called out, a bit on the worried side. “Nurse Kiwi! I need your help right away, Jett suffered some multiple heavy blows to the head.” Remembering he had also bashed his head against the window of the truck he was driving. Making that at lease three big blows including his last fight.

Laying him down on a bed he took a step back, finally really looking at all of the lacerations on his upper body, where shrap metal was probably still stuck in. His skull had started to bleed through the gauze bandage they had put on before they left the battleground. His face looked swollen now.

He knew he was going to be ok, but the grandfather part of him was worried still. Kiwi was an amazing nurse. But still he couldn't help himself.

Kiwi turned as Jais entered the room, “Must you be so loud!” she barked at him. Kiwi took a look at him and began preparing to heal the boy. Jesus christ Akihito, these kids are so young She placed her arms over the boy’s body , her pores opening wide as bugs began to pour out and onto the boys body. First thing she wanted to do was take out any metal. She had a small empty bin off to the side to place things in. Small termite like ants burrowed into his skin to pull out the metal. These bugs were especially useful for getting deep into the skin without the need of incisions, any metal they found they placed it on Jetts skin for the nurse to pick up. The bugs acquired quite a bit of metal. While the smaller bugs worked on the metal, she unwrapped the bandage on the boys head and used mosquitoes to stop the bleeding as well as prevent clotting. His face was quite swollen so she released her ‘blood beatles’ to reduce the swelling. At this point Jetts upper body was swarmed with bugs.

Once all the metal was out the bugs small bugs re-entered the wound and began spitting a paste onto the boy's wound. The paste sped up the healing process much much faster, it was a steroid for the cells almost. Jett was already beginning to look better, his lacerations beginning to fade as the bugs migrated locations. It also seemed like he had a small fracture on his skull as well. “Oh dear” Kiwi focused the bugs towards his head, the termite like bugs once again entered the wound though this time they began eating any small fragments, mixing it with their paste and spitting it back out onto the boy's skull, patching up the fracture and making it good as new. The mosquitoes cleaned any blood on the boys face and body while the blood beatles completely reduced the swelling. “Alright he should be fine now” She said as the bugs went back into her skin. (done)

“Oh dear?!?” Jais repeated. It was never a good sign when a nurse said that. “What's oh dear?” Even though she said he was fine he wanted to know.

By this time Ezra was laid down on a bed next to Jett, while Reina was guided to the opposite side. He

“Oh nothing, it seemed that he had a fractured skull but it's all patched up...Just make sure you keep an eye on the boy ”

Jais nodded and sighed… that wasn't a good sign either… but if Kiwi says he is ok then… he shouldn't worry… until his mother finds out what happened. Kiwi might have to make a house call and patch him up. He shivered at the thought as he stood by Jett's bed.

Soon Jett stirred. Jais was surprised on how quickly the boy recovered after being treated. Kiwi certainly was a Miracle worker.

Jett eyes slowly opened. The bright Fluorescent lights blinded him as he opened his eyes. His vision was blurry for a few seconds as it took a bit to re-adjust. To see his grandfather standing above him. (Done)

The principal opened the door, “Good morning all” He said with a bright smile, quite ironically since students there were unconscious and injured while the grownups were worried, Roy came in floating behind him. He placed the boy in a bed using his quirk, “Hello Kiwi, Jais”

Jais looked over to the principal and nodded. “ Good morning, Hisakawa.” Now more relaxed that Jett is awake.

“I feel we might have a class of a bit too enthusiastic students on our hands this year…” he said sighing as he looked at everyone in the infirmary.”
(Done)

“Just what the doctor ordered! remember our generation?” He said chuckling, “The era right now are so stiff, this group of kids have grit” shaking his fist excitedly, “Though having to show them on the first day of school may have been a bit much” as he took a look around the room. “Don’t worry Jais, at least we can do these kinds of things now since we have Kiwi” he said with a worryless smile.

Jais nodded slightly. Hisakawa did have a point about the their generation. They took even bigger risks and did not always had the care that Kiwi provided. He still had many scars from “trainings”.

Jais looked to the boy named Roy. If he remembered correctly his last location was running to Alpha point. Where Mina was. Impressed, but not surprised at the outcome. “We may have Kiwi… but what happens when my daughter inlaw finds out what happened to Jett? I don't think even she could save me from that wrath.”

Jett at this point sat up on his bed, holding his head. Something felt… off but it could be th fact that a bloody brute head butted him.

“You should be fine, the lad looks alright, all his bruises are healed up just fine” signaling his hands toward Jett.

“You don't know his mother. He may be fine now. But the fact it happened…” he looked back to his grandson as hisakawa motioned towards him.

“Don’t be such a baby Jais, my great Niece hasn’t even been healed yet and you don’t see me getting worked up” He said pointing at Reina.

The girl, sitting quietly in a chair, simply glanced away with a light blush.

Jais looked over to Reina then back to Hisakawa. A surprised look on his face. He should have known. Two people having Such a similar quirk like that, they were bound to be related.

“Then call me overprotective.” He said with a small smile. He was, his family meant everything to him. But still, getting a fractured skull was a bit on the extreme and he was right to be worried for Jais.

“He’ll be alright, I have full faith in Kiwi’s ability” placing his hand on the man's shoulder as he talked. “A little roughing up will be good, we didn’t get to the top through the golden spoon.”and it was true, both of the old man’s had quite a story to tell. They both clawed their way out of hell. “The Great Frenchman...afraid” The man said as he shook his head.

Jais nodded. He actually agreed with Hisakawa, hero's back in their day had a certain edge to them that they gained through experience. None of them ever attended a school for heroes like these kids did. Their training was on the Job. “ I totally agree that roughing them up is good for them. And I also have faith in Kiwis ability, If you Adriane… you would be too.

“Don’t worry, the Komei Academy principal is right behind you”. The principal took a seat in a chair and gave Jais a thumbs up. He realized something was off, “Kiwi where is your office chair?”
Elvira, Jais, Ezra

A few minutes after Jett and Ezra's fight....

A jeep pulled up onto c soon after the battle between Jett and Ezra a large older man with long white hair jumped out of the passenger seat and ran over towards the two fallen fighters, his steps were nimble, quick and graceful as he lept over the wreckage of the war zone of C. He he slid the last few feet and came to a stop over Jett. His hands reaching out gingerly as he touched the top of Jett's head, inspecting the wound.

He let out a sigh when he felt Jett's breath barely on his other hand. Looking over to Ezra he couldn't help but smile. That damn boy managed to take that larger one down despite all his wounds and being nearly knocked out moments before that. He sure had some grit.

His thoughts turned to Ezra, impressed that the boy was still awake after The head butt with Jett and being driven into the ground head first. His unorthodox fighting style made it clear he wasn't formally trained, but just a natural fighter.

“Impressive fight boy… though you two may have gone a bit overboard.” He said to Ezra, while not looking directly at him, but close enough.

He looked up and nodded to the two assistants that came with him. They brought over a stretcher, but quirky realized that Ezra was too big for it and decided to pick him up under his arms and legs. While the man picked up Jett gently and surprisingly easy and held him as a father would a sleeping child, carrying him back to the Jeep as quickly as he could without jarring Jett around.

Ezra’s consciousness was hanging on by a thread, and he was quite surprised to find that somebody had come to pick him up so quickly. He didn’t think he was exceptionally injured, he’d imagine that he’d heal quite quickly with the little thinking capacity he had left after that fight, but he was genuinely impressed with the response rate.

His eyes were barely open due to the blood dripping from his forehead, as he was taking precautions to preventing it from getting into his eyes, but he had noted that he had said something to him, which he had just about made out when he had spoken through the pounding headache that was present.

“Ye.. that little fella was stronger than I thought. I’m shocked that it got that far when we ain’t even use our quirks.” he was barely able to speak, and it was questionable that Jais would have even heard the faint voice, but Ezra visibly had a smile on his face despite all odds. He had found the competition that he had been searching for

Elvira was under strict orders. Stay in the car and don’t even think about hopping out to wander til her heart’s content. She had a habit of straying - whether orders were stapled to her shoulders or not. There was just so much to see, so much to experience. You didn’t need emotions to appreciate true, natural, beauty. Her hand closest to the car door handle itched at her side. All five fingers flexed and curled repeatedly in quick succession ‘til nail marks were left upon her palms and her joints began to ache.

How could she meekly sit still in this car all by herself when she knew he was out there? It had been so long. Weeks? Months? In reality, whatever the girl decided on, it was bound to be much shorter than that but rational thinking was out the window. A feeling similar to boredom drove it out without an inkling of slowing down. What was taking so long? Jais had said there was a fight, battle? Elvira couldn’t quite remember what he had said. All she’d heard was the name of the boy competing. That’s all that was needed.

The impatient brunette turned her head towards the window, eyes narrowed in an attempt to fight of the sun. Was that…? Jais! She knew the outline of that man better than she knew any other. One had to remember those who offered such generosity. Elvira noticed that he wasn’t alone either. Someone was cradled within his arms and didn’t seem to be showing any attempts of carrying their own weight. Mind you, the situation didn’t appear to be normal.

Without thinking, both of Elvira’s hands reached out to the door handle. Her eyes never left the rapidly approaching figure of the two men coming her way. Colour, she could live without. Sight? Not so much. It took her longer to fling open the door with the lack of focus than it ever would. If she had been paying attention, her need for efficiency might have alerted her to that fact.

“Jais? Who’s that? Is it Jetty? What’s the matter? What happened? Is that normal?”

The flurry of questions, despite being slowed by her natural way of speaking, came out in such an order that answering any she posed would require dissection of the highest surgical precision.

Jais looked up as he heard Elvira get out of the vehicle and call out to him. “That child…” he sighed. As she ignored his orders. He didn't want her to see Jett like this, not that she wouldn't see him like that in the jeep. But she insisted she come with him instead of waiting in the observation room. He didn't want her to fret,

“Yes it's Jetty…” he answered in a deep calm voice. He was sucked into what he called Jett at home. Continuing “He just knocked out from his fight with this lad here.” He motioned with his head. “ This happens from time to time… he should be fine.” He lied. That laceration on his head looked pretty deep. It was clear he had a concussion. He always pushed himself to his limit.

As he passed her he laid Jett in the back of the jeep, next to Ezra. He then turned to Elvira. “I need you to hold his head child as we drive back. Can you do that?” He should have been fine. Better safe than sorry though, and it would give her something to do. One of the assistant's placed a gauze over Jett's head and wrapped it, while the other stabilized the kids neck. They had to leave the back gate open for his legs to fit.

Elvira watched Jais with such intensity with those purple eyes of hers (albeit one was hidden by the choppy bang over her right eye), others would have most likely turned away within a second. Every move of a muscle, each blink of the eye, she noted. Though a link was needed to manipulate the emotional state of a host, one was certainly not needed to observe the current emotions running through someone. You had to be careful around her. Just like a child, Elvira observed the most minute of details. Ones that could end up betraying the façade. Still new to this however, the forced calmness of Jais’s voice prevented her from discovering his true state. That and the fact that the majority of her mental capacity was now absorbing her new role as nurse.

“Yes… I can do that.” Elvira responded in a voice quieter than usual.

She didn’t know why, but the severity of the situation was one that she swore she could feel. It hung in the air and plucked all conversation from it. If she reached out her hand, she was adamant she’d feel it brush against her fingertips. Elvira, however, was not brave enough to experience such a thing. One palm came to gently rest upon Jett’s right cheek while the other came a little lower upon his left - the point where his jaw curved and met his cheek - to stabilise his head.

This wasn’t Jett. He wasn’t moving enough. Wasn’t spouting nonsense or cracking a silly joke that only Elvira would find amusing. She never knew just how much of a hole there was when Jett wasn’t around until she was this close and forced to acknowledge his absence. At least back home she could console herself with the fact that she simply couldn’t be near him.

Briefly, her eyes glanced over Jett to land on the boy beside him. What was his name again? Elvira… didn’t seem to care. All she knew was that it was his fault on why Jetty was like this. Happens from time to time? Academies condoned knocking each other unconscious? No, they didn’t. Couldn’t. Often, Elvira would ask others if the questions running through her head and the assumptions she made were correct but this one just didn’t seem to fit.

“What happens now?” Elvira turned her head to look within the rear mirror - conversations were easier when looking at the person’s face. “To Jetty? To… him?” She gave the boy beside Jett one more glance, eyebrows furrowed just that tad more, then turned her head back to it’s previous position. “Do they get pinched by the ear?” Though she spoke with the utmost seriousness, what she said had quite the comical background. The two younger Havens, when in trouble, would comment with trembling lips about how their mother would ‘pinch them by the ear’ if they ever misbehaved severely. Elvira had then judged that to be the highest disciplinary action possible.

The two men who were with them glanced at each other at her form of punishment. With queer looks on their faces, asking the silent question of who was this girl?! But they said nothing, as the radio crackled to life informing them that two more students were injured at C.

Jais motioned for them to carry on quickly. They quickly scanned the area to see the other two students on the ground. “These students are going to be a handful… That much is clear.” Jais said as the jeep turned over and made its way over to the other students. Jais turned his head back towards Elvira though he could see her just fine with his minds eye. “ The punishment if any will come from the Headmaster. You must remember young lady, this is a hero academy… this is what they train themselves to face for the rest of their pro careers.” Looking forward he tried to see outside the car as far as he could, not that it helped. Cars were insulated for noise. So everything was dark within five feet.

He continued “... I while this is an extreme case, I doubt it would lead to expulsions.”

He then added softly to himself. “Not when there is so much talent and potential in one class. More than I have ever had before…”

Throughout the entire explanation and reasoning, her hands stabilizing Jett’s face didn’t move an inch. Her eyes swivelled back to Jett’s face and began to scan for any signs of his awakening. Jais did have a point. Out of the two of them, he was the one most familiar with situations such as this one. In fact, of all the people in this car; Jett, Jais, the assistants, even the giant, Elvira knew the absolute least.

Quirks ranged from simple enhancements of strength to full-blown transformations beyond the human form. Oh boy, did this academy house many on each end of the spectrum. Casualties like this, Elvira supposed, were the ‘average’ around here. Besides, these two were the result of an almost quirkless fight - if she’d heard the static of the radio right. Both assistants were too preoccupied with treating the wounded to shield Elvira from what was truly going on like Jais had attempted to do. She only hoped that other potential heroes were just as robust and adaptable as these two boys had been.

The jeep came to a stop in front of the two students Acion and Reina. Where he stepped out and made his way over to the students. He knelt down next to Riena to see if she was ok first. Noticing she was still awake He then asked Acion, “Can you walk...or fly lad? Or do you need a ride back?”

After receiving an answer from Acion, Jais turned back to the girl and said, "Come on... let's get you to the infirmary."
