"Ack!" Tai scrambled herself over to Garen when he yells. Well, she practically flew out, but she didn't notice. When the wall slams down she looked back and realised Treb and Guy were trapped. "Eep!" She wondered how they were going to get themselves out of this mess.
"Seems fishy if you ask me, why on earth would they want him alive unless they are planning on using him?" Kito adjusted Erro carefully and sped up a little.
Erro jumped onto Kito's back, who didn't seem to be surprised by this. Erro presumably had been working nonstop for the past week, without sufficient food, water and rest. Kito did not drop him, as he respected the Ventuasion family and their daughter included, however cursed she may be.
Erro slept as Kito caught up to the group. He said nothing to them, only a swift nod and a dazed look in his eyes.
Lol!
Tai felt quite useless too, but she knew she could help out if they felt tired and drained. "Is everyone okay?" She asked.
"Heh, I'm Erro, but you can call me whatever you want to." He winked playfully, his green eyes highlighting in the sunlight. Kito rolled his eyes dramatically and sighed.
"Flirt" Kito muttered.
"Hey, I'm being friendly." Erro argued. Of course Erro was going to flirt, because that was what the technical SHE thought men did, so he did exactly that.
"Sure."
"I am!" He punched Kito in the side angrily.
Eri gave a nod and smiled, albeit a little awkwardly. She avoided his gaze until they were out of earshot. "So, why did you bring me out here?" She asked, looking at a small group of sick children playfighting.
Kito sat in a local pub, she pretended to breathe for the sake of pretending she was alive again. The bar man looked her over and passed her a drink, she sighed as he said "on the house... Cheer up." She didn't meet his gaze, but gave a fake smile. As she drank, she knew it would not quench her thirst. Nothing would but the soft skin and blood of a warm and very alive body. Her dark brown eyes gazed at the bar man then, and she smiled seductively at him, he was about to fall into her trap when a young pink haired girl walked in with a beaming grin. Her blue eyes were brightened against the light and she looked at Kitonara with an expecting face.
"Anything?"
"Not yet." Kitonara replied cautiously. Nobody could have guessed that THEY were vampires, not even Kitonara who had the day off her SOLDIER duties.
Avalon did not realise where she was at first. She remembered screams, flashes and then the sickening thunk of her head hitting a wall. But she did not hurt anymore; in fact, right now she felt absolutely nothing. Slowly and cautiously, she moved her fingers in the ripple formation. She could move every part of her body. However, she still felt nothing but the odd sensation of zero-gravity. When she opened her eyes, she realised it was because of her location. A tube located in a huge row of tubes. She looked to the right tube, empty. The left had a person floating upside down in litres of fresh green liquid. Avalon noticed that she too was in this liquid, her long brown hair was floating around her and creating the eeriness of her own situation.
She knew exactly who had put her in one of these tubes. She was raised on the very fear of them. The Vitus. She let out a huge sigh of relief she still had her life, but not for long unless she escaped, or so she thought anyway. She noticed a few others had escaped, and a dead Vitus lay obstructed in her view. The sickness of the way it looked almost made her throw up, but she found she could not. Instead, she tapped the glass to see how thick it was.
Erro ignored everyone, wondering how long it would be until dusk. He was hopeless with time, and stayed quiet towards everyone. He rolled his shoulders and gave Kito a sideways glance. Kito ignored him.
"Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine!" Erro said lamely, "Be that way!"
