Kito sat in a local pub, she pretended to breathe for the sake of pretending she was alive again. The bar man looked her over and passed her a drink, she sighed as he said "on the house... Cheer up." She didn't meet his gaze, but gave a fake smile. As she drank, she knew it would not quench her thirst. Nothing would but the soft skin and blood of a warm and very alive body. Her dark brown eyes gazed at the bar man then, and she smiled seductively at him, he was about to fall into her trap when a young pink haired girl walked in with a beaming grin. Her blue eyes were brightened against the light and she looked at Kitonara with an expecting face.
"Anything?"
"Not yet." Kitonara replied cautiously. Nobody could have guessed that THEY were vampires, not even Kitonara who had the day off her SOLDIER duties.

Willow walked down the street, eyes on her shoes as she quickly walked. They had run out of bandages and Willow had been out to by someone. She sighed as she scurried down the street, turning the corner and heading for a store that sold medical supplies. She entered, bought what they needed and left quietly, heading back to base. Once there she hurried to the medical ward and wrapped the bandages around a leg wound. She glanced at the man she was treating and sighed quietly, wishing that this didn't have to happen. Why couldn't everyone just live in peace?

Magnus stood and watched the scene unfold, ignoring the pain of the holy vapor. As soon as Johnathan turned his back and walked back to the street to talk to the SOLDIER unit, he dashed to Serah removing the blade in one swift motion being careful not to sever any arteries. He caught her as she fell and fled to the inner regions of the forest where their base was constructed inside a cave. As it stood now, they had a mere 10 Vampires in their forces not counting Serah and himself. All that would change tonight. When they reached the base he laid her down on one of the few cots he had manged to..acquire from the city. He had to think fast, that bullet in her shoulder would hinder her healing abilites. Hopefully he had got her out in time so that the holy vapor didn't cause irreperable damage. He made a small incision where the bullet hole was located so he could reach his claws in to retrieve it. Gently and slowly he pushed his one of his claws into the wound, the least she needed right now was further injury. He fished the bullet out and tossed it deep into the cave.

Now the only issue was getting her blood, if she didn't recieve any soon the wounds would heal too slow or not at all. He concentrated, thinking of a way to get the much needed blood to her.. Then he remembered the raid he had conducted on the local hospital. Hopefully they still had atleast one pack of blood left from it.. he rushed to where they did have them stored. Tossing aside the empty packets there was one left, but it was half empty. It would have to do. Picking it up and reaching Serah as quickly and possible he began dripping the blood on her lips, eventually it brought her out of her weakened state and she snatched the packet of blood from him and proceeded to drain it.

"Well, glad to see your injury didn't effect your appetite" He told her with a grin. It wouldn't be long untill nightfall, they would gather their forces, then they would strike. "Rest. You will need it. Tonight after we have acquired enough followers we will strike, and I will see to it that I personally cut Johnathan down."

Matt shook his head, not a one of the patrols had turned up anything, not even a trace. "Something isn't right.." Matt told him. "Keep alert. I want everyone ready for anything." Then he heard tires screech and the blare of Johnathan's van. " What in the hell?..." He said mostly to himself as he watched the van blaze past and crash off into the distance in the forest. "Guess he finally went completely crazy.."Matt said. He watched closely to see what he was doing. Then he saw it, a male and female vampire in the forest just a few yards from them. He decided it best not to interfere with Johnathan's buisness. He watched the scene play out. Johnathan walked over to them and instructed them not to touch the vampire who he had staked to the ground. Matt looked again and the vampire was gone, "What vampire?" Matt asked him pointing in the direction where the vampire once was.

Sara started crying, she didn't know why Magnus had saved her. She looked around and smiled slightly, the others were enjoying themselves while she sat there in pain and humiliation. She weakly took Magnus' hand. "Magnus, I don't know what to say. Thank you." She smiled at him and dropped his hand carefully. She passed out from the pain and healing sensation, when she got into her REM stage she moved around and looked in all directions, it was truly amazing she hadn't had a dream in such a long time. She thought she would never sleep again, she had to get into the habit of it it was so beautiful and surreal.

"Sir the male vampire with her. It took the girl in a split second, I haven't seen speed like that since the massacre years ago when we went up against an ancient vampire unprepared. If he's an ancient this could get real bad real fast". He completely Ignored Jonathan's threats, Jon was crazy but he was also reasonable not known to attack unprovoked. "Maybe tonight we up the patrols? Point of fact I think its time i hit the armory for some extra magazines" with that Axel went back into the town heading for the armory.

Matt paused a moment as if processing Axel's words. He immediately grabbed the walkie attached to the front of his jacket, "This is Matt, I want all patrols doubled, hell tripled if possible. No one gets any sleep tonight, If what I and Axel think are true, this could very well be the worst and bloodiest fight we've seen in years. I want everyone on high alert and ready to move out at a moment's notice." He shouted into it. A SOLDIER on the other end gave him a yes sir and hopefully proceeded to carry out his orders. Now the only thing they needed was to prepare, rather, the only thing they could do.

Magnus let her sleep, afterall, he did say she needed rest. She would indeed need it for the upcoming fight. In a few hours night would come, then he would signal vampires from all around the surrounding area to come and join him. Yes...This fight would indeed mark a great day for all vampire kind if they succeeded, no..WHEN they succeed. Magnus walked over to his makeshift chair of sorts carved out of stone and sat down, swiping his claws against themselves grinning a wide toothy grin all the while imagining the scene of chaos unfold.

Johnathan went to the battlefield and retrieved his sword. He then grabbed his van, and placed it in the middle of the city, still trumpeting religious music. The smoke machine was set to maximum, and Johnathan took several more out of his van, placing them at important locations around the area. For lesser vampires, the smoke would be like acid, and such copious amounts would kill them. However, even the ancients would be filled with pain, and no vampire could regenerate wounds when the power of the Lord burned at their flesh. Any vampires in the city wouldn't be able to remain hidden for long, with the smoke pouring through it. This would prevent spies attacking from the inside. Johnathan stood at the ready, smiling behind his mask. He was ready to fight.

Soon after the base recieved a radio message, the noisy engine of a vehicle can be heard in the background while a man said "Hello? Sergeant Miller speaking from T.R.S.. We will arrive soon to support your troops. The unit consists of two full APCs. We will most likely arrive in 5 to 8 hours. Do you copy?" as Miller has spoken into the radio, he waited, hoping he soon would get a response.

Ooc: I was like..Who the hell are you?.. To start with, lol.

IC: Matt here Miller on the radio "5 to 8 hours?.. We need backup by nightfall, get the lead out and get here ASAP!" Matt replied. Damned SOLDIER and their damn regulations, people these days don't understand what emergency backup means he thought to himself shaking his head.

Amara was patrolling the fields and walked up to Matt. "I think we have them this time." She was cleaning her weapons to make sure they didn't jam or break in the fight. She watched as SOLDIER scrambled around and got ready. She smiled wickedly and continued cleaning, she put ammunition on every clear space on her body. "How are you doing by the way?"

OOC: Y u no, I am that one random guy who thought this rp sounds interesting, so he joined in.

IC: "We will do our best but I cant promise anything. Miller out" the man replied before the radio contact ended. Then he turned to his men "Gentlemen, we most likely will get to our target location at nightfall. I have the bad feeling that something is going on there, we might even have to jump right into battle upon arrival. I expect you to do your best... and of course slay these damn vampires!". His men cheered when their leader finished his speech, what ever might be there, those guys were ready for it.

Axel arrived at the armory in short order, the clerk knew him well buzzed him in. He made it a point to keep spare magazines for his weapons in a specific place to avoid confusion in times of crisis, he also made a point of marking special ammo types with colored bands specifically he took the blue today (blue = hollow points with special wood tip) and a flask of holy water. On his way out Axel stopped by the clerk and signed the forms for the gear he took "Gotta stay official" he muttered to the clerk. If war was coming he needed a drink especially if it might be his last. The bar wasn't exactly busy, but same time it had a few people around, he sat at the other end of the bar from the two girls one of which he recognized as a member of Soldier "Bartender..Clean glass and a bottle of Whiskey" He slid a few bills across the counter as the bartender left him his bottle and glass just before he took his first drink he lifted his glass in a salute to know one "Here's to those who will never see the sun rise tomorrow"

Night was falling as an old car left the highway.
By the side of what quikly became a dirt road stood a large sign:
"Welcome to Kilo Point, population: .."
The last part seemed to have been clawed of by a alarge animal...
"This must be the place.." Martin mumbled to himself.
"Figure they must be hiding in the woods, she did describe a cave after all. Oh well, first things first."
Martin drove into the city and started to look for a parking spot.

ooc: Confused at akje's post..oh well ._.

IC: The light steadily lessened in the cave untill eventually night was upon them. It was time, Magnus thought to himself. Now..to signal his forces to amass. Magnus walked to the entrance of the cave before letting out a loud bloodcurdling howl that ripped through the forest and rang out in the distance. He repeated it once more and slowly at first but steadily grew quicker vampires from all over Kilo point and the immediate area ammased at the clearing in front of the cave. Well over a thousand vampires were eventually in front of Magnus, the few who were already with him emerged from the cave as well. "Welcome brothers." Magnus told them with a smile. "I am fairly certain most, if not all, of you know why I called you here. Tonight, we slaughter every single SOLDIER at Kilo Point, as well as every single human who doesn't decide to join us. We will strike fear into the heart SOLDIER, after Kilo Point, we will ravage every SOLDIER outpost in the surrounding area. They WILL bow to us!" Magnus shouted and the vampires roared and shouted in agreeance.

They were ready..the siege would soon begin..

Lightning was set up in a sniper post at the edge of town near the forest after she heard Matt over the radio. "Finally some action.." she muttered to herself. She sat down in a stool in the corner assembling her Gundam and attaching it's scope. She was ready, she would hopefully have enough time from the saftey of her perch to pick off several vampires, should the attack be that large. Then she heard it, thousands of vampires off in the distance all roaring and howling. They were ultimately screwed, hopefully that crazy ass vampire Johnathan would prove useful.

ooc: I described my entrance to town, the street sign being damaged implies a vampire (probably one with claws) slashed trough he population counter as means of a warning.
The "she" martin refers to is supposed to be confusing, since the reader has no way of knowing who that is. I wanted to foreshadow that Martin seems to have some idea of what's going on here.
I'm sorry if I am being unclear.

ic:
Martin found a dark alleyway to park his car and got out on foot, he made his way trough empty streets, evading the occasional SOLDIER patrolling.
Eventually he got to the hospital and made his way to the back entrance. Pretty sure he wasn't spotted, he investigated the lock. There were clear signs this place was broken into before, savagely too. It was quickly and cheaply replaced with a padlock. As martin brought out a set of pick locks he wondered to himself what monster would be able to simply tear trough metal locks like that. At that moment he heard a scream like crackling thunder bellowing over the city. "that answers that.." Martin mumbled as he picked up the pace. Time was of the essence, soon the entire town would fall into complete and utter bedlam.

And if martin was going to get himself stuck in the middle then by the gods he'd be prepared for it!

*click*

The door opened and martin entered the building.
Quickly he rushed down some stairs towards the basement, where they keep the supplies.

((Woah, thousands? Holy shit, I thought we were in a small mountain range somewhere in Nevada! How did Magnus get a thousands vampires? Did he just pull all of them out of his ass or something?))
Johnathan stared out into the distance. He could smell a vampire for miles away. They were his prey, and he had hunted them across the globe. His name was one he had been given for his armor, and while wearing it he had never been defeated. Entire clans had fallen before his blade, and as his machines whirred to life, he smiled. There was a west wind coming. He said a prayer, as he always did before a battle. Many would die this night. Quite probably, the more powerful vampires would slaughter many of the SOLDIERS, there was nothing he could do about that. However, he would ensure none of them would lose their humanity.

Ooc: Tennessee, and just cause the mountains are close doesn't mean they live on one :p Plus they came from the small surrounding areas.

IC: As the curtain of night was heavily upon them Magnus gave the order. If he knew Johnathan he would have many of those smoke machines set up, the first wave of vampires would help him pinpoint exactly where so he could destroy them. Magnus roared and the vampires began flooding towards the town, trampling everything in their path and even knocking over trees due to their sheer numbers. He followed soon after, though trailing back a bit. The first wave of vampires hit the machines, he held his hand up to signal the rest to stop. He watched as they got burned alive purely by the vapor, he spotted one of the machines. He ran for it, ignoring the pain, he quickly grabbed the machine and ripped it apart hurling the pieces off into the forest. Now they had a safe entry point, he motioned for them the attack. The horder rushed forward through the small opening now un-hindered by the machine. Magnus then spotted Johnathan a slight ways away from him.

He was his main target, while the town was in complete anarachy he calmly walked over to him. "Why hello Johnathan, it has been a while, hasn't it?" Magnus told him. "Still hoping to be saved or whatnot by that God of yours? Don't you imagine if he had the slightest whim of saving you from your fate that you wouldn't be standing here before me this very moment?" Magnus liked teasing Johnathan, despite how much he hated him. "You know as well as I do there is no hope for you are any of us, despite your efforts." Magnus stood still briefly and focused, he would make Johnathan realize his worst fear, fear of being utterly abandoned and shunned by his God. He made it seem to him as if he was in a post-apocolyptic world, him being the lone survivor of the catastrophe. Forced to roam the earth till he perished, completely abandoned by his God and the entirety of humanity, both whom he served and humanity whom he swore to protect untill the end of his days. After the scene was properly implanted Magnus merely stood there grinning evily while waiting for it to take effect.

If this worked, it would either drive Johnathan mad to the point he would be easy enough to kill, or he would abandon his beliefs and join Magnus's side. Either way, he would be happy any outcome.

((well yeah thousands apparently, maybe the thing was planned and they come amassing from all over the country? It's an unfortunate move on the vampire's part though. Inverse ninja law is gonna cause a lot of trouble now))

Martin sneaked trough the empty morgue, hoping that the dead folk there where honestly dead.
After a bit of searching around he finally found the supply fridge. "Jackpot" Martin grinned.
The thing was heavily damaged, covered in claw marks and half empty. It still contained more blood bags than Martin could carry, so he just stuffed a freeze box full of various flavors and threw that over his shoulder.
On his way out he grabbed some needles and collected a pint of blood from one of the "fresher" corpses.
At last he saw and grabbed a few bottles of morphine and some painkillers he didn't recognize.

Martin casually walked out while playing with a set of scalpels and returned to his car.

On his way he saw the town square in the distance, in the shadow of quite the impressive church.
Martin pondered if he should break in there as well to get some holy water, is holy water real? if vampires are... maybe...
Martin wasn't religious, so the notion of magic water that burned the undead did sound sort of silly, but then again so did the notion of the undead, and he did just go out of his way to collect various sorts of blood...

His train of thought was interrupted by the sight of a medieval knight standing next to a minivan in the middle of the town square.
Martin stared...
A large hulking figure stepped out of a shadow and walked up tot he knight. It seemed like they where talking but Martin was too far away to make out a word.
Martin decided to get up on a large crate nearby and sat down, he dug trough his pockets to find a candy bar and unwrapped it.
"Front row seats. This aught to be good."

Johnathan smiled, as the fog rolled out. It was a thick one, blocking sight even for a vampire, and the younger vampires burned like crisps. However, then Magnus entered, searching for one of the smoke machines, no doubt. However, this was the divine fog. Johnathan could take down entire clans, and this was his trick. He moved through the smoke, never losing his footing. He oriented through sound. Smell and sight, the main senses used by vampires, were useless, with the Holy Vapour of the Purge filling their nostrils, and those that tried to use it would burn from the inside as well as the outside. However, Johnathan still knew the ancient vampire, whom he ahd fought with often in his lifespan. Magnus should not have been so foolish as to face him with numbers. Numbers were nothing to the Purge.
Johnathan swung the Christian Blade, but Magnus was no Youngblood, and deflected the attack. They faced one another, each no more than a black shimmer in the fog to the other. Johnathan smiled, as he went into a number of swings, each more vicious than the last. He would kill this vampire, this would be the time. "We meet again, Magnus! This time, surely, the Lord will take your soul!"
