"When the Galaxy Burns, We will define Righteousness!

"The Dark Gods call, who will answer?"

The Forces of Chaos are an extensive and dangerous force, filled with heretics and traitors, mutants and monster and Daemons. The Eye of Terror is their home, a great rift in the galaxy, a terrible ragged hole to the immaterium, the home of Daemons and the Gods. Within this rift are many thousands of different factions, all devoted to the myriad Gods of Chaos. However, the most dangerous factions are the Warbands of the Chaos Space Marines.

Alone these Warbands are dangerous, ranging in size from a Dozen blood-thirsty maniacs to great Legions of many tens of thousands of cruel and murderous Power armoured super humans. Most often these warbands are unable to cause much damage to the wider galaxy, far to busy warring amongst eachother. However, occasionally a powerful and Charismatic Champion of Chaos will tie several Warbands together through strength and power alone, even bringing those of opposed deities together in temporary harmony. This done, he drives a bloody path through the eye of terror, binding more marines and Daemons and cultists to his cause, his Warband growing to prodigous sizes, until their momentum has built to a point that the Eye can no longer hold them. The new Warband will burst forth like the deformed childen of some nightmarish entity, intent on bringing death and destruction to all in its path. The army will spill blood on whole new levels, planets will burn and Sectors will crumble before their might.

This, is a Black Crusade, the ultimate offering to the Dark gods of Chaos. Now, a new Champion has risen, and has begun his own Crusade. Within the eye he binds several Warbands to his own, and looks to stars, smiling as he  imagines the magnificent carnage soon to come.

Information

In the Grim Darkness of the 41st Millenium, there is only war. Often there are stories of men valiantly fighting against the endless waves of terror that wash over them. From the terrible and vicious xenos to the machinations of the thirsting gods the Imperium of man fights valiantly against the oncoming tides... this is not such a story. We care not for the heroism of the common man, or the Angels of Death that fight alongside them no, we care not for the Emperor and his servants. This is the tale of the servants of the Dark Gods, gone forth to bring ruin and death to all who stand in their way.

The myriad warbands of Chaos are often warring with eachother, or leading their own raids against the material realm. But, occasionally, a single Champion will tie many Warbands to a single cause, destruction. This new warlord will lead his conglomeration of Warbands out of the eye of terror in an unholy crusade of blood and destruction... a Black Crusade.

Now, a new Warlord has risen, binding several Warbands of the different gods to his cause. He will first lead them through the eye, forcing more Chaos marines to his service until the Crusade swells to truly terrifying levels. It is then that they wil burst through the immaterium, and wreak havoc against all who stand in their way. Be they Xenos, Other Warbands, or the servants of the False Emperor we will see them driven before us and crushed beneath our boots of steel. This is a Black Crusade, and we will watch the Galaxy burn before us.

OOC Information

-This RP is the Story of the Black Crusade led by the Chaos Warlord Skaldir, Lord of the Gore Beasts, and burner of a thousand Worlds

- I would prefer potential players have a decent grasp of 40K lore, but it is not required and newcomers are welcome

- Characters need not all be chaos space marines! The Chaotic nature of a Black Crusade and its purpose draw any number of traitors and Heretics from Mortal Champions, Daemons, Hereteks and more. Most any within the forces of Chaos are acceptable

- Violence is expected and encouraged, but don't go overboard

- Characters will be accepted based on quality, not a first come first served basis.

- This is a high casual to advanced RP, please pay attention to spelling and grammar, but I'm not gonna get mad for minor mistakes. At least a Paragraph per post but more is appreciated.

- Please try to post once a week, if you can't post please tell me so I know. If you are inactive here for 3 weeks(without letting me know beforehand) I will assume you are no longer interested and we will move on without you

- Combat won't be everything(though it will be important), Choas Champions do other stuff, especially when they are Traitors, free to indulge however they wish.

Rules

- Avoid OOC drama, handle arguements and feuds in pm's if you must, but don't muck up the OOC with you and your opponents word shanking contest

- DO NOT control others characters without their direct consent. Feel free to control NPC's interacting with your character, but do not control other such NPC's not engaged with your characters. 

- No mary sues, Chaos champions are as flawed as anyone if not more so, powerful or not

- One character per player (I will allow exceptions, but you must run it by me and it is up to you to show you can control more than one character)

- In the end, this is my RP, so what I say goes. I will end any fights you have with eachother as I am the GM

- RESPECT MY CO-GM, She is second only to me. her word is equivalent to mine, if you have a problem with her bring it up with me, do not start a fight
