Personally I like 3 better. But they're both great games. Neither is a waste of money.

I thought I had a good relationship with my mom. But the way she's been treating me today makes me think otherwise.

I'll be 20 in a little over a month and know exactly what I want to do with my life. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

Aiza slid to a halt once they were outside, grinning at the chaos around her. Sure war was a terrible thing and all that, but when everything around her was going to hell, her head felt the most clear. An explosion hit nearby and her head snapped around to see a plane flying overhead. Sorin reacted first and sent it spinning, but it wasn't down yet. Aiza jumped into the air and snapped a kick out, launching a fireball straight at the plane. That finished it off. There didn't seem to be a whole lot happening in this particular area, most of the fighting must have been happening somewhere else.

Aiza turned back to Sorin when the Waterbender spoke. He was going to trust her with protecting the medics and the wounded? It wasn't the frontlines action she had been looking for. But hey, it was important, and somebody had asked her personally. "Of course!" She said, giving Sorin a thumbs up. "You can count on me." Aiza dropped into a battle stance, one that made her a lot more agile and light footed than those two Firebenders who had been sparring before. Anything that tried to come near the medics was going to get burned. Well, maybe not everything. If the White Lotus came near they would be spared from Aiza-fu.

Another plane flew overhead, trying to drop an explosive on the ice shell. Aiza reacted immediately, doing a quick, kick punch combination and sent a couple of fireballs at the explosive, setting it off before it could get near the medics and the injured. "Take that Mr. High and Mighty old man! You see this, I'm saving lives not getting them killed!" She yelled at the sky, before returning her focus to the battlefield. She really wasn't needed much right now. As long as no bad guys tried to come at the medics, all she could do was stand there and look pretty. Which she wasn't doing a good job at in the slightest.
It's been so quiet today... I guess you guys aren't the type to chat in the OOC much.
Honestly I think that if you allow people to make more than one character, with the number we have already it'll get chaotic. Too many characters can kill an RP just as quickly as too few. Maybe if not everybody ends up sticking with the RP and we seem short on characters then people could play multiple. But for now I think it's too much.

And about you playing two characters but not everyone else. You're the GM, you kinda get to do whatever you want. Personally, I don't mind at all.

I honestly don't see the point of Personality and History for a majority of the RPs I'm in. It's just an extraneous section that doesn't give any information that's immediately useful to the DM or other players as a majority of the time both of those sections end up getting changed mid-roleplay to suit the player's whims. Its kind of like Alignment in DnD where you're required to put it on there but unless people enforce it and/or make it a major plot point you can really just ignore it.

I know right? I'd much rather build my character through the RP. Characters have lives of their own and practically write themselves as stories go on. Trying to force out an entire personality beforehand is just so boring and pointless.

@Cyrania

Hey, about the item thing. What about going for good ol' light magic? It's something believable for Zelda to pass down. And magic is okay as long as you don't make it overpowered.
@Crimson Raven

Unfortunately that's simply how things operate around here.

;-;

Oh you should see this other RP website I used to be on. It was even worse when it came to getting RPs started. The GMs would either force everyone to make these stupidly long and detailed character sheets, I mean they wanted three paragraphs for personality, five for history, six likes and dislikes, it was bad. Or they would make the characters themselves and let other people pick the one they liked most. Then after people spent sometimes a couple hours making their characters and got accepted, it was usually the GM who left and stopped the RP from getting started.

And now you all know why I left it.
Alright, my dancer is finally done. Here ya go!

Forgiven. ^ ^

And a million brownie points for the Sherlock gif.
@AirBender

That was my first thought. For a group that's using primarily melee weapons and only one -fire- magic caster the introduction of a character with mid-tier reality warping capabilities is a little frightening.

Don't forget my character, the wind mage. But yeah, it is pretty OP. Especially for an RP. Because time warping, along with mind control, powers are what I consider the definition of god modding.
Yyyyyeeeeeaaaahhhhhhh, the time power thingy sounds a bit like godmodding to me.

But I'm not a GM or CO-GM so it doesn't matter. At all.
