Personally I like 3 better. But they're both great games. Neither is a waste of money.

I thought I had a good relationship with my mom. But the way she's been treating me today makes me think otherwise.

I'll be 20 in a little over a month and know exactly what I want to do with my life. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

Here's my character! Let me know if anything needs changed. I added a powers section because I had something in mind for his powers and wanted to put it down before I forgot. ^ ^

Name:
Yue Uesugi

Age:
23

Role:
Dog Monk

Powers:
Enhanced Senses. This power is both a blessing and a curse. Even with one eye, Yue can still see far better than anyone else. His nose and ears are extremely sharp, allowing him to hear things from much further away than other people, and to identify people and things by their smell alone. Touch and taste are also much sharper than others as well. This also means that things that annoy the senses of a normal person effect him even more so. Areas like cities with lots of stuff going on at once can be overwhelming and he likes to avoid them.

Preferred Weapon:
Dual Claws

Personality:
Yue is an incredibly stubborn and strong willed individual. He's very loyal and will never betray those he puts his trust in, he would rather die loyal than live a traitor. He's not the smartest person around, but he is clever and bit on the playful side. He likes to mess with people in any way he can, but has the self control and discipline to know when enough is enough. He has enough energy for three people and finds it very difficult to sit still for more than a few seconds, despite his self control and discipline. He's impatient but knows the value of waiting. Despite his loyalty, he isn't afraid to question orders or disagree with the higher ups if their plan goes against something he believes in. At times he'll outright refuse to carry out orders and take whatever punishment comes with it.

Bio
To be revealed in RP.

Appearance:

Yue is a tall male, standing at a little over six feet tall. He has a lean, but surprisingly strong, build, due to his lifestyle and fast metabolism. He has long, messy, brown hair and odd gold colored eyes. Well, eye, he lost his right eye and now wears a patch over what's left of it. His mannerisms tend to be a bit dog like, he growls at people if he doesn't like them and will sniff new people in order to memorize their scent. Occasionally he'll bark at people just to mess with them, or threatens to pee on their leg.
Something that really annoys me, and will get your character refused from my RPs, is characters that go against the setting of the RP. If I have a roleplay set in ancient China, you can't use katanas, because they're Japanese and it would have literally been impossible for you to get one! Or if I have a high fantasy setting and somebody makes an anime ass dog girl. Having characters with animal qualities is fine, but not when the are straight out of an anime.

You can do plenty of things with your characters and still keep it to the setting. Really, it's not that tough to do some research and see if the weapon, name, or whatever you chose fits the setting the GM has set. Or, just ask, so I don't have to refuse your character.

Another thing that comes off of that is people who get pissy when I refuse their character for not fitting the setting, or ignore the suggestions I make to keep things in the setting. If they want a katana in a Chinese roleplay, I'll suggest to them a Chinese sword that's similar to the katana.

Basically, I hate people who try to join a roleplay when they obviously know nothing about the setting surrounding it.
Hi there! I'm super interested in this, I love everything surrounding the Zodiac, and China in general. I've actually been there and had the chance to train with the Shaolin monks. I would like to reserve the dog if that's alright with you.
Is this going to be ANOTHER Sword Art RP that dies? Will I ever be able to actually use this character that I've been trying to for over a year in a Sword Art RP?
It was odd hearing the Hero compare the journey to destroy evil to a simple paid job. Then again, just being around others was odd. It had been so long since Ashi had been outside this room. She wondered how Hyrule had changed this time, as it always did. Sometimes the differences were still, other times it was like it was an entirely different place. But through it all, the Temple of Time stayed the same. As it was protected by the goddesses' power. Usually evil creatures weren't able to get inside it. Though a few times it had happened. Never in Ashi's lifetime.

The Hero was drawn to the Master Sword, that much was obvious by the way he kept glancing at it. It didn't take him long to figure out that he was the Hero reborn. Moments after that, he stepped up to the Master Sword, and pulled it out of the pedestal. Ashi had close her eyes for a moment when it did, as the connection between the Hero and the Sword Spirit was established once again, making her dizzy for a brief second. Then gone was the feeling of emptiness that always replaced the connection when each Hero eventually died. "No, you just did fine." Ashi reassured the Hero after he asked if it had been alright to remove the sword. "As for your other question, yes, only the Hero and the sword of evil's bane can slay the creatures in the temples."

The corners of Ashi's mouth twitched upward as the Princess suddenly bombarded the Hero with questions, then was stopped by the Sage. It did not surprise her when the Sage guessed what she was correctly. "That is correct. My name is Ashi and I can in fact tell you what your roles are. As I said before, you are all here in order to end the cycle of evil once and for all. To do that, we will need to travel to the temples of the land. That is where things get complicated."

Ashi looked at the Lizalfos who was the Guide. "Only the Guide knows where the temples are." Next she looked at the Musician. "You have the Wind Waker, yes? By playing the song of each temple with it, the Musician opens the doors." Then it was the Princess. "The temples are covered in a darkness that would consume all who enter, if not for the powerful light magic of the royal family. Her eyes went back to the Hero. "As I said before, only the Hero and the sword of evil's bane can deal the final blow to the creatures inside the temples." Finally she looked at the Sage. "In the very heart of the temple, past the puzzles and creatures guarding it, is an altar. It is at that altar that the Sage must put one of each of the medallions."

Ashi paused for a moment to think. Should she tell them more about her role in all this? Then again, hers wasn't really important to them. No, they needed to know about the temples more than anything. "Once each medallion is in place, all five of you will gain a boost in strength. Whether that be through new magic, or some others means I'm afraid I don't know. After all the temples have been completed and all the strength is gained from them, can we finally take down Ganon once and for all." After that, she fell silent, allowing them to digest the information and give them the chance to ask questions. They couldn't say no to the quest, but they had the right to know everything they wanted about it before getting started.
I guess I'll post again since nobody else will. Look forward to that after I get home from work.
@Apollosarcher Well you could. It just wouldn't do any good. :p

Anyway. I just posted before Apollo, so somebody else needs to.
@IceHeart No problem! I just want to make sure everyone is still here, since there's been no activity in the last couple of days.
*Casually boops everyone on the nose.* You guys still here? I don't want things to die already!
Isa walked along with the group, not getting too close to any one member. On her face was her usual cold look. She carried herself confidently and with all the grace of the dancer she was. Her spear was held loosely in her grasp and she looked ready for combat at any moment. She also had the tact to ignore any and all looks sent her way. Picking a female avatar in any MMO was sure to bring around the creeps. But still, she had chosen to use her own looks. It was a virtual reality game, having a male body would have been weird, especially now that they were trapped for a while. If she was going to fight to survive, the least she have was a body she was comfortable with.

Isa was glad for the silence, nobody in the group felt like talking apparently. That was fine for her, it gave her time to do what she did best, think and observe. She watched the people as they went by, seeing who had what type of weapon, who was scared and who looked calm, and many other things. She was basically assessing the other people in the game. If they wanted to get out, they were all going to have to work together. Unfortunately, not everyone agreed with her, just like with all MMOs, there would be player killers. People who murdered others for one reason or another. In some ways, this entire game reminded her of the .Hack games. Those had always been her favorites.

The guild leader, Arthur, just had to go and ruin the perfect silence. He asked them a valid question, but that didn't mean it wasn't annoying. "I'm known as the Queen of RPGs at my school. I've played plenty of games like this, especially ones with turn based combat. I'm good at guessing enemy weaknesses and boss exploits. Though I don't usually play MMOs, I prefer one player games." She explained, though she left out the exact reasons why she didn't play MMOs. It was mainly because people were stupid and she didn't like dealing with them, as well as the sexual harassment from picking female avatars, then there was the fact that they were usually a lot simpler than one player RPGs and she got bored easily.
