@Isaac

Wait are you talking like Tracer? Because we already have a teleportation like character.
@Isaac

That is literally even more of a no then what I was describing as it falls back on rule three and still is unenjoyable for players.
@Isaac

Alright, what I mean by re-write is this.

Person runs forward, gets touched, person now has to go back to where they were before (assuming that the power would be limited to say a minute or couple of minutes).

As a writer, I would have to redo a post to put myself back where I was to continue forward while losing a few minutes of what is happening around me.

Not only would that be an unnecessary challenge to write but also is highly annoying. Minus all the other ways it could be abused without certain drawbacks. It is still not enjoyable for others to have to deal with. Also, it only being a touch, you can touch a whole lot of things in a small amount of time. There would have to be way more limits.

All and all, it would be a struggle to set all the limits and parameters but I also feel like it would not be a positive for all other players involved.

Obviously, Mintz has final say but I am telling you, the power is a no for me.
@Isaac

I didn’t say changing timelines, I said time altering as in altering an aspect of time. Yes, touch would be at least one drawback but for how long can they forward or rewind the one person or object? And you say that you couldn’t do it to a building so, what kind of objects? How big or small?

All and all, the biggest reason it’s a no for me as a GM, is that I have to consider how enjoyable it will be to work with a character like that. Most people I doubt would love to re-write a whole scene or guess which point they would need to go back to. Heck, as one of the GMs who has to eventually write for the villains going against our heroes, I sure don’t want to have to re-write different points or play the backwards game.
@Isaac

I don’t know what Mintz reaction will be but I can certainly say for myself that I would be very against time altering powers. It again, can usually fall under rule three of godmodding for obvious reasons (such as abusing it in every situation as one example). Also, no one wants to play the freeze game or re-write a scene again with a different outcome. The machines needed for writing the power would probably get annoying for other players.
@Isaac

If you are talking about the profiles, it is part of the worm world and the grading system which Lewas as kind enough to provide.
@Isaac

I would suggest reading all of the GMs first post in the OOC and even more so looking over the listed rules which I was referring to.
Hi @Isaac,

I am the Co-GM here. Mintz hasn’t added my role in since the reboot is new and they are busy but let me start by saying…

Well, isn’t that quite the introduction to make for yourself. Might want to re-look at what casual section means as it asks for a few paragraphs. Which means at least one to two paragraphs and we aren’t forcing anyone to post more than that, just a few of us like to do so here.

On your second comment, I suggest looking at rule three as you seem to have missed that in your read through or maybe you don’t have a clear understanding of what it means. We didn’t think it needed to be stated in that section but let me clarify. We will be making sure the characters are balanced even with high strength powers so they are not basically a god. Figured that would be obvious since no one wants to write with a character like that.
It’s definitely shaping up to be an interesting and fun crew :3
@Nightknight

They are still readying through profiles and still accepting submissions last I checked.
