History
Adelinde was born to a large but seemingly normal family on a windy fall night. She had a loving father and mother, two much older brothers, and an older sister, Eliza. Years later it would seem like the spirit of the wind had seeped into who the young girl was. At a young age, Adelinde continuously got into trouble as her desire for adventure and to explore the world kept driving her to go farther and farther away from home. She would often get in trouble because of this. One day her older sister left to see the world, the young spirit begged Eliza to bring many stories home to tell.
While waiting for her sister to come back home, a new member joined the clan by the name of Elysia that Ade instantly grew attached to. A little sister of her own for her to tell stories to and be friends with, and when Eliza got home they'd all have so much fun together. Unfortunately, after Elysia's birth, one bad thing after another happened. Their mother died two months later due to never really recovering from the birth. The oldest daughter never came home and the paper reported the worst. That she was dead. Then their father died in a hunting accident. The next few years were rough for the remainders of the family. Then the pirates came.
A group of strong pirates showed up on the small island and instantly began terrorizing the locals. Some tried to fight back but were either easily killed or captured. Adelinde was one of the later. Because of the fact that Adelinde refused to give up the fight, the captain had her brothers hurt but the sadistic monster wasn't done. He took two Devil Fruit's which he had collected and force-fed one to Adelinde and the other to someone else.
This is because the pirate who attacked the island is notorious for collecting Devil Fruits, especially the unknown ones, and logging every last possible piece of information about them. Which means they must be used in combat to get the most detail. He has a habit of feeding Devil Fruit's too weak innocents and forcing them to fight to show him more and more of the possible skills of said fruit and if he deems the fruit strong enough he'll kill the user on the spot and eventually will give it to one of his crew if they're the first to find it again.
This is going to be approximately where I will have the part for my characters start. Adelinde will be in captivity and Alex and Eadgar will both be arriving at the island for different reasons. Generic beginning anime arc will ensue.

Alex is from an island unaffiliated with the World Government. As such his home was constantly turbulent and poor due to pirates and bandits running rampant. Even though the island was seemingly always under attack they were at the very least able to defend themselves. Other the generations they had learned how to use the various knowledge that explorers from the island acquired upon returning home. The island is like a hodgepodge of the basic secrets of the trades of the other islands in the (Insert Blue here) Blue.
Alex's specific role on the island was to pilot the fishing boat which his father, uncles, and brother used as they caught fish for the island. But he also would assist his mother and sisters as an errand boy when they'd need herbs for medical purposes. You see from his father's side was a family of fishermen, and his mother's side were doctors. So, he learned bits and pieces of both trades while working on mastering the ability to pilot a boat.
Other than his parents, Nathan and Jennifer, his family consists of his older brother, Oliver, who along with their father, taught him a few tricks to fishing. Although he didn't entirely catch onto those skills very well which is why he pilots the boat. His older sister, Lindsey, is the one who taught him how to fight as she was one of the members of the island who actively fought to protect their home. His twin sister, Kiley, who taught him most of what he knows about medicine. He is much older than the next two members of his family and they are the main reason behind his drive to give every child a reason to smile. A younger girl, Sadie, who his family adopted after her family had been killed during a pirate attack, and a little brother, Mitchell. He remembers the nights that Sadie would cry herself to sleep and how Mitchell was about the only one who could calm her down.
As Alex got older he began to watch the children on the island. They were all so genuine. They were so pure. Their emotions and thoughts were always on display for everyone to see. They were weak and easily manipulated. One night, Alex remembers working late into the night collecting herbs for the next day. Everything was eerily quiet. More so than usual. Even the sound of leaves whistling in the wind seemed to be gone. He began to hear an odd tune playing in the distance. The moment the sound reached his ears his head began to feel fuzzy. He began traveling in the direction of the sound all the while his senses fading even more. When he got into town what he saw shocked him. All the children were jumping about playing and dancing all the while being lead onto a Marine vessel by a man playing some sort of flute. Alex tried calling out but before he could he passed out.
He woke up the next morning to see the village in chaos. Running around asking what happened, he learned that apparently, all the children disappeared at some point in the night. He told everyone about what he saw and it didn't take long for some of the more aggressive members of the island to gather together in order to try and track down the culprits. They set sail and attacked any pirate ship they saw demanding information until they attacked some pirates that were much stronger than their meager force. The majority of them were wiped out but Alex and those who could retreated back home to find that while they had been gone the island had been raided by pirates.
Everyone and everything was gone with only a few stray bodies left behind. Other than the returning fighters there wasn't a soul on the island. The few who remained began fighting, blaming each other for everything that was going wrong. Alex couldn't stand not knowing what happened so he kept searching until he found something that was out of place. Until he found a tattered and torn jolly roger. One which he had seen many times but had never actually attacked the small populace. Seeing as this was his only clue, Alex set out on his own. He couldn't waste time bickering with the others. He had to find his family.

Eadgar was born to one of the most renowned families of bounty hunters the world has ever seen. Unfortunately, he didn't have the chance to know them as the family was destroyed from the inside when he was two. To their knowledge, only he and his father escaped the destruction of this once great family. Once he turned four his father began teaching him how to fight, among many other things, so that one day they may avenge their family name together.
For years the father and son duo struck fear into criminals. It's said that only a small few have escaped their blades, those few going on to be powerful within the criminal world. Despite how many criminals they have struck down the main target they have chosen for their revenge has eluded them.
Being bounty hunters is a rough world where one can easily stray down the wrong road. As such the remaining Gray's have lived by a strict moral code. This has often gotten them in a pickle or two especially with the marines. One of their main codes is that if they don't witness the crime then they can't take down the criminal. Obviously, with this policy, many pirates have learned the way to avoid having the blades of the Gray's pointed at them. The duo has even taken down the occasional Marine due to them witnessing a crime that the government would not acknowledge. Due to this the pair have earned the ire of the Marines.
A few months back the pair got a clue as to the location of who killed their family and how they did it. The assailant, using a powerful logia type devil fruit, attacked the family. The father-son duo then agreed to have one of them go to spy on this individual. Eventually, word came back to Eadgar that his father had been caught and after a long and arduous battle he was slain, and the target fled to the Grand Line. Now Eadgar desires to hunt this person down and defeat them as well as learn why. He is also looking for a devil fruit so that he can level the playing field.

Will be updated and added to as things happen in the IC.
Crew
Currently it is just the three of them.
Ship
My plan is to at the start of the RP go with the story of how they meet. So, they don't officially have a ship yet and it's likely to be a small rinky-dink thing which will only last maybe an island or two.
Specialty/Profession
Fighting Style
Currently, Adelinde has no idea how to fight properly. She knows how to throw a punch without breaking her hands but that's about it. Upon eating the Onsei Onsei no Mi, her control over her body will throw her off so much that she will be even worse at fighting so she'll have to train at controlling her ability first.
Alex carries numerous amounts of tanto blades on his person. He usually fights using hand-to-hand combat as he knows some basic martial arts but when things get rough he'll use the tantos. He also is not averse to fighting dirty and will take any chance to gain an advantage.
Eadgar fights primarily using Ittoryu. He can use two swords but prefers one. If he's fighting someone very challenging or someone that is a fellow swordsman he will always preface battle by drawing his blade in front of them and tends to fight them face to face until one falls to their knees. If he deems an enemy unworthy of his blade he will not draw it and will simply use the hilt of the blade to the back of their heads trying to quickly knock them out. He is more of a speed-focused swordsman than a power one.

Devil Fruit
Onsei Onsei no Mi
The fruit which Adelinde will eat at the start of the RP is the Onsei Onsei no Mi which turns the eater into a sound wave person. Because of this, the user is more susceptible to blunt attacks which cause their body to vibrate rapidly depending on the force. But a semi-counteractive effect is that anything that would merely glance them is seemingly deflected due to the constant vibrations of their body. It will still cause them to lose a little control on the slight contact but makes it where direct attacks are more or less necessary to actually damage them. Using the soundwave frequencies emanating from their body the user can alter the levels of the sound surrounding them. They can also adjust the sound of certain things.
Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Fenrir
Note: Will only receive this fruit way down the line. The Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Fenrir is a mythical Zoan of the Norse wolf Fenrir. The hybrid transformation resembles the user with sharp claws and fangs along with fur covering the majority of their bulkier body and their face elongating like a wolfs snout. The full beast form is that of a wolf but much larger. Approximately half the size of a normal adult elephant. The special trait which this mythological Zoan awards the user is that the more they consume in a short span of time the larger each form will become. With the increased size the strength and speed of the user exponentially grows. However, as the user grows they lose more and more control over their mental state and risk going on a rampage. The only way for the user to shrink back to normal size is of their own volition or upon losing consciousness.
None as of right now. Nor have any been reserved.
