Savannah entered the Jungle Room and looked around for her clothes that should be in a discombobulated pile on the ground. She sniffed around for a minute, finding it weird that she was looking for her own scent. After a minute of searching, she found her clothes underneath the tree she had hidden in when she had spotted the bear. She looked around to make sure no one was in here while she changed. After that embarrassing moment with Isa in the hallway, she didn't need to have another "no-clothes-on-in-plain-sight" experience. There was no one around that she could see or smell so she quickly changed back to her human form and began getting dressed.
As she put on her clothes, she wondered what was next for all of them. Were there going to be more missions like this one where they would be forced to work together in interchanging forms? Would they be tested in other areas? She hoped things would go better in the future than they had today. Aside from her little clothing mishap, she had thought her, Isa and Luci had done a fairly good job cooperating and finding Roxy. She didn't think they deserved the tough criticism they had gotten at all but she also understood what Roxy was saying. She did suppose that communicating with each other in animal form was a tad easier than human to animal communication. Maybe they didn't live up to Roxy's expectations 100% but they had completed the task. She should be happy with that.
When she was all dressed, Savannah wasn't sure what she should do next. Isa and Luci were on the whole key thing and frankly, she didn't really want to be around a bitching Roxy so she decided to just sit here under this tree and decompress. She needed solitude sometimes.

As Savannah wandered around the small square, she didn't notice much that was worth investigating. She looked back over her shoulder at Ingrid every once in a while to make sure she was okay, or at least alive, or wasn't leaving without her. She decided to possess someone just to see what would happen. She targeted a man wearing a black trench coat and stopped in front of him. He walked right through her but then stopped. She was now in control. Time was frozen for this man. She moved his feet in a forward direction and began walking around looking at signs and inspecting the objects in building windows. She wondered if she could make the man speak. . .
She spoke and noticed that her words came out of the man's mouth in his voice. This is cool. Now that I know I can do this, I could accomplish a lot when I visit this place. Savannah thought.
With her new, found skill mastered, she phased out of the man and watched him continue walking in the way he had started as if nothing had happened. She walked back to Ingrid and stood next to her wondering why she was having such a hard time. Savannah had made it here just fine. . .
As an instinct, she immediately looked around for her cat. Odette was nowhere to be found and Serephina got pissed. She glared at this egomaniacal asshole with complete disgust and decided not to even give him an answer until her pet was found. "You scared away my cat you freak! I'll tell you whatever you want to know as soon as I find her. She's all I have left. Don't kill me, I won't use my power." Serephina said with a combination of caution and annoyance. "Come back baby it's okay, come here." Serephina called in her most comforting voice. Odette heard her calls and came bounding up the stairs again and jumped into Serephina's arms burying her head into her chest with her tail curled over her body.
"Now. I'm only here because I was looking for a place to rest and I happened to come upon this place. I didn't know anyone was here. Can I sleep here for the night? On the first floor? We will leave in the morning and not bother you again." Serephina wondered what this guy's problem was. She had never seen anyone be so defensive over an abandoned, worn down warehouse. But maybe this was all this guy had too.
She had no idea that there were others like her. She didn't know whether this guy had super speed and a hologram or not but she knew that he had some sort of power. He was able to make his form seen through the door so it must be a body-heat recognition thing. She looked past him and saw that he looked pretty set up in here. Maybe I should have come here sooner. Then this whole place could have been mine. She saw a couch, fridge, TV and other standard living appliances.
She wanted to use her power and be gone before this freak even knew what happened but she decided she would rather talk her way out of this than risk getting killed. But maybe this guy was just full of shit and trying to make himself sound more powerful than he was.

Justine ran full throttle towards Hunter's truck and cleared the tailgate with ease. She had always been able to jump high. She called out to the others to follow her. She thought that if they were safe in the truck at least they would have an upper hand and a better range of sight to defend from.
Hunter was attempting to use his .22 to take out some of the coyotes and that was not working so well for him. He should have grabbed the shotgun. . . Justine thought. Buddy's barks were strange and based at a pitch she had never heard from a dog before. He must be using it to try and scare them away.

Savannah couldn't help but laugh at the situation around her. No she wasn't enjoying all the yelling but she in fact WAS enjoying Isa's loss of temper. She shouldn't be laughing at one of her superiors getting decked but. . . She laughed at a lot of things she shouldn't.
She decided there was no reason for her to be here anymore so she decided to head back to the Jungle Room to find her clothes. She was starting to get sick of being in tiger form and she wasn't appreciating being yelled at for doing the best she could. She looked around the room in disgust and padded out towards the Jungle Room. If there were going to be more tasks like this, Roxy better learn to compromise and work together with others before she ordered others to. . .

Savannah sat awkwardly while everyone was yelling at each other. She never liked being around people yelling as it caused her great anxiety. People were always yelling back home and she had been very grateful to get away from that. But she understood why Isa was annoyed. The task had been to communicate with each other and find Roxy. They had done that. Just because they hadn't done it the way SHE had wanted her to they were suddenly idiots? That was not going to fly with her. She was sharing the feeling of wanting to leave Roxy behind. The first impression she was giving was not impressing Savannah whatsoever. She decided to mention what her name was.
"My name is Savannah by the way." she said rather disrespectfully. If Roxy was going to disrespect her, she was not going to be polite back. She respected whoever respected her.
A Street Unknown, and Eventually, An Abandoned Warehouse

Serephina wandered up and down the city streets with her beloved feline padding behind her, occasionally running off to chase a moving something she saw out of the corner of her eye. "Come back here you!" Serephina yelled with a smile. She loved this cat more than anything or anyone in the world. Odette was all she had left. The speckled gray and black feline obeyed her master's commands and came running back. As she always did, Odette sat down at her feet and waited for Serephina's command to jump and be caught in her arms. "Get up here." she said softly. Immediately, Odette jumped straight up and was caught in a cradling position.
They continued to wander the same direction until the buildings got more and more sparse. She was on the more dangerous side of Chicago. This place's crime rate was sky high so she was a tad scared wandering through this area with nothing more than a cat and a small, rusty hunting knife. She only needed to move fast, and stay out of sight, two of the things she was best at. Her plan was to get out of town but stay close just in case she needed something important from a store. She never stole money or any large value items. Her criminal instinct wasn't that strong and she always felt guilty stealing the food she had to. But she had come to grips with the fact that it needed to be done and she couldn't change her situation. Not easily anyway. It wasn't worth going back to her grandparent's house which she hated so much. She could make it on her own just fine. She had for a long time.
Odette had fallen asleep in Serephina's arms, as she always did, and was purring loudly. In the quiet of the empty streets, her purr sounded like a tank rolling over a gravel road. That sound had never failed to calm her. She hadn't realized how far she had walked untill she looked up, and was approaching an abandoned warehouse that looked a little scary. This was however, too good to be true. Here she was wandering around with her cat, with no place to go and she should stumble upon this? Things seemed to be going better than they normally did for her.
She woke Odette with a gentle tap on her forehead and ordered her to jump in the open pouch of her backpack where she always hid when she needed to be out of Serephina's way. She jumped in without hesitation and poked her head out in excitement about the new scenery around her. Serephina crouched low and ran up to the right side of the building and looked behind it. Nothing. She peeked her head around the corner where the front door should be. She was expecting to see a big, heavy door that looked like what belonged on a barn but there was no door at all. Could this get any easier? Serephina scoffed at the simplicity of the situation and sauntered into the place with confidence. It looked exactly like an abandoned warehouse should: cold stone floors that were cracked from time without renewal or purposeful damage and walls that were so rotted and old that they looked like they could collapse on her at any second. However she was confused as to why the wooden supports were in such good condition. How does that work? She then noticed there was a flight of stairs in one corner of the room that ascended upward. She wondered what was up there. . . "Odette, go see!" she whispered and pointed in the direction of the stairs. As commanded, Odette jumped out of the backpack, crawled over to the first step and bounded up to the fifth. Her mouth was wide open to check for any scents. Her ears were fully extended and turning every which way to pick up any sounds but she found nothing. She looked back at Serephina and uttered a small squeak to let her know the coast was clear. Serephina grabbed her backpack and walked rather quickly over to the stairs. These things looked like a death trap all on their own. She wasn't even sure they could hold her weight. Thinking she could make it if she didn't stay on one step for too long, she decided now would be a good time to use her speed.
She closed her eyes, preparing to use her power and felt the ground sink under her feet as she gathered the energy she needed. Then she released it with an explosive gust of air and the next thing she knew, she was at the top of the stairs. Her powers came in handy in situations like this. Odette gracefully climbed the stairs and came to a rest at Serephina's feet. She meowed loudly. "Hush! We don't know who or what could be in here. Do you want to be caught and eaten?" Serephina whispered harshly. Odette laid down and tucked her paws under her in a nonchalant manner as if she hadn't done anything wrong.
Serephina wandered around the new floor she was on and noticed that it was in a tad bit better condition than the first. There was however, different gangs' graffiti on the walls. She admired graffiti. To most people, it was idiotic vandalism, but to her, it was art. As she was taking in the scene around her, she noticed a rather large door. She approached and examined it while Odette watched her. Whatever was behind this door, she wanted in.

Savannah wondered why Isa had looked at her so weirdly. All she wanted was to try and work together with him to find Luci. As she watched him pad away quickly, still in his tiger form, she realized that when she changed back to her human form, her clothes had not come with her. She was mortified. She quickly changed back to her animal form and ran down the hallway to cut Isa off before he ran too far away.
She looked him in the eyes and sat down in front of him. She placed her paw on top of his and lowered her head as if to apologize for her mishap. When she looked back up, she nodded at him as if to suggest them as a team, turned her back on him, looked over her shoulder as she slowly walked down the hallway, keeping eye contact with him as she walked. She really hoped he would understand this, as it was the best she knew how to communicate in this form. She heard Luci's howl from not too far away and thought that he must be frustrated. Wolves might be good at thinking out a plan but they often get stuck when something went wrong. But that was nothing compared to what had just happened to her. She had never been more embarrassed in her life.
Note to self. . . Clothes do NOT come with you when you shift between forms. Way to go Savannah, you've successfully made yourself look like a fool in front of the most important being here. What else is new? she thought.

"Krystyn come on! Justine shouted as Krystyn ran closer back to camp. She franticly looked back at Hunter as he aimed at a patch of grass where he must have thought a coyote was hiding.
This was the moment in which she wished she had a useful weapon. There was the machete Krystyn had given her, but that wouldn't do them any good unless the animals actually got within close quarters. The shotguns had a much too wide grouping to hit effectively. There was pretty much nothing else. She thought she would rather have any sort of weapon than no weapon at all. She ran to the table and grabbed the machete off the table and started running towards Krystyn to try and deter the coyotes chasing her and Buddy. She had a moment of panic when she saw blood coming from Buddy's mouth. She really hoped that was a coyote's blood and not his. She didn't know what she would do if something happened to that dog. She hoped Hunter would not fire his gun and accidently hit her instead of the animals they were up against.
