The room was cold and dark, even with all the people inside it. All were silent as they sat and waited for the last member to arrive. The highest leaders of the Blood Angels had all been summoned to discuss the course the now empowered chapter should take. The assembly itself consisted of Commander Hadrian, Chapter master of the Blood Angels and the man who had called the meeting. He had been very quiet, very strange considering how jovial he usually was.
Then there was the High Sanguinary priest Corbulo, sitting quietly with an expressionless face as he contemplated how the emperors death would affect the Red thirst and black rage.
Next to him sat Sepharam, the Exalted herald of Sanguinius, leader of the sanguinary guard. His face was stern as he sat quietly, noone knowing what he was thinking.
Astorath on the other hand was sitting next to him, his mind saddened as he thought about how many would die from his hands in the following times, radiating an aura of darkness around him.
Mephiston sat opposite of Astorath, mumbling to himself as he contemplated several different matters, including the possibilities of the warp now that the emeperor presided inside it.
And then lastly, the Keeper of the Heavengate and Maste of the blade both sitting speechless and expressionless. If you didn’t know anybetter you might have thought them unconcious or dead.
The silence was interupted as the ship started making loud sounds that spread discomfort among the crew. The Fury Reborn had recently been constructed on Mars itself by command of the emperor. It had taken them ten thousand years to complete it, but rightfully so. The ship itslef had been built out of the remnants of the Red Tear, the flagship of Sanguinius during the great crusade. It was now the shining jewel of the Blood Angels chapter and they would use it to defend the imperium from the horrors that awaited them in the future.

Another large rumbling was heard, although this time not from the ship. Their final member approached. Giant footsteps could be heard as the monstrous man approached the Command Deck. The door opened as a large dreadnought forced it’s way in. It was Dante, summoned by Hadrian to provide them with advice for how to act.

Hadrian Stood up, raising his voice as he finally spoke. ‘’Brothers! You have been summoned here to discuss how to approach the matter at hand. No doubt the countless xenos out there are plotting at this moment on how to ruin our imperium. Not only that but traitorous scum throughout the imperium are plotting with heretics on how to take some for themselves. I can only assume that the other chapters will do such as us and reinforce their forces before acting.’’ Suddenly, Dante spoke with his cold, metallic voice. ‘’Do not doubt our brethren, Hadrian. Every loyal man in the imperium will do whatever they can to defend it. On the topic of xenos however, They will be as busy fighting eachother as they will us. We can use this to our advantage. As you all know the enemy outnumbers us in the millions but that won’t matter one bit if they die fighting eachother rather than us. ‘’

Before anyone else could talk a new figure entered the room, buzzing with mechanical life and bionics as he sat down at the table.
It was Engelbert Kappa, the leader of the titan legion that had been bestowed upon the blood angels. He introduced himself as so before continuing with ‘’We have come here to aid you, do not take it for granted. We expect you will hold your part of the bargan and defend our systems aswell as our suppliers. Without them we will be useless.’’. Everyone nodded in accord as Hadrian stood up ‘’Of course. We will do our best to uphold our bargain and we are grateful for your assistance. With the assistance of the Titan legion, I believe we have what we need to get to work. Is all agreed?’’ All noded again. ‘’ Good, then let us get to work.’’ They all stood up and bowed as they went about their specific duties.

Name of Faction: Blood Angels / Sons of Sanguinius

Species: Space Marines

Leadership:

Commander Hadrian

Firstborn son of Solus--chief hunter of the Red Arches tribe on Baal Secondus. Once it was discovered that his younger brother Ephraim had psionic potential, their father tasked Hadrian with protecting Ephraim all the way to Angel Falls. Where he could potentially live on as a Space Marine--the alternative being gathered up by one of the black ships. Hadrian dutifully obeyed his father and guarded his brother through the wilderness of Baal Secundus and even through the Blood Trials--the vicious gladiatorial sport designed to wean out Blood Angel aspirants. In truth Hadrian was only fighting to protect his brother so that Ephraim would be accepted, but by the end of it both brothers were accepted and survived the transformation process in the golden sarcophogii.
Hadrian quickly made a name for himself in the 10th company when he placed two hellfire rounds into the brain cavity of a Tyranid hive tyrant. Surprisingly Hadrian was fairly lackluster in swordplay which frustrated him to no end, as he viewed his honour impaired because of that one blemish on his record. Aphael, who was then a sergeant, took it upon himself to become Hadrian's mentor. And by the time Aphael ascended to the captaincy of second company, Hadrian became the Blood Champion, and head swordsman to his new captain's Honour Guard.
At the age of 250 Hadrian seemingly made the ultimate sacrifice holding off a cabal of Dark Eldar, backed only by two full squads of fellow marines, to allow the entire second company to escape an incoming warp-storm that was summoned by the machinations of the wicked xenos. 50 years later the storm cleared and a squad of Raven Guard marines were sent to investigate the remains of the sole planet--Pharos IX. There they found the the wreckage of one of the cabal's frigates and many dead Xenos, along with fallen battle brothers. All evidence of a long planetary struggle against untold horrors of the warp and xenos. The Raven Guard squad found the last vestiges of Imperium forces, 3 brother's from the Blood angels, Hadrian among them. Each of them attesting that they had only been in the system 5 days instead of 50 years after the final retreat of second company. Chief librarian Mephiston later attributed the dilation in time to the capricious nature of the warp.
After days of endless battle, the xenos were purged from Pharos IX, and the horrors wrought on the planet were cleansed by the pure light of holy exterminatus. Though the sacrifice was high, Hadrian finally made it back to his home on Baal. Being the sole survivor of those 30 brothers that chose to remain was no simple onus to bear. Suspicion followed him throughout the fortress monastery, especially regarding the new warp mutation to his eyes. Blackened sclera and irises with tell-tale cats-eye pupils replaced his former blue orbs. the Apothecarion and Sanguinary priesthood found no faults with him, and  Chief Librarian Mephiston's baleful gaze found no spark of chaotic malevolence in his soul, merely its touch on his warped flesh. The reclusiarchum was the most ardent for his execution, interpreting the new mutation as some symptom of the black rage, thinking that he was likely to go mad at any moment.
Ultimately the decision was passed down to Commander Dante who, in an odd act of "mercy", consigned Hadrian to a blood quest to find the Dark Eldar Archon who had so wounded second company 50 years ago and destroy the Artifact that had summoned the warpstorm. Or die trying..
Setting out with his brother Ephraim and his closest Battle-Brother, the Sanguinary novitiate Mikaelus, they soon linked up with a Death Watch squad lead by the the Space-wolf, Balmung Frostmane, who was hunting the same Dark Eldar, Archon Maleit. Eventually, after many battles, the marines finally cornered Maleit on the dead world of Pharos IX. There they also discovered the device they were hunting. The Malefic Benedictum. An ancient chaos relic sought by five different forces that had all gathered on the planet's surface. The Emperor's children chaos warband, Archon Meleit's remaining cabal, the Ordo Malleus, The Eldar from craftworld Ulthwe, and Frostmane's small squad of deathwatch marines. 
By the time the battle was fully joined the two Eldar factions were too busy at each other's throats to stop the forces of chaos from reaching the Benedictum, and the tide of the battle turned when a Greater Daemon of Slaanesh entered into the physical realm and carved a charnel path through the armies opposing Chaos. It was through sheer luck that the Deathwatch team had outflanked the entirety of the enemy forces to conserve their smaller numbers. When the Deathwatch made their move their strike was quick and surgical, a silent attack from the side that completely overwhelmed the remaining Xenos, as a lumbering squad of Grey Knights moved quickly through the Emperor's Children, though taking heavy losses from the Daemon.
By the end of the battle, Ephraim had slain Maleit, a chaos warlord had struck Sergeant Frostmane's--so in retaliation the angered Space wolf decided to take his in return, and Hadrian Justicar Talen Athrain of the Grey Knights fought side by side against the Daemon, banishing it back to the warp, and destroying the Malefic Benedictum once and for all.
With the Imperium's victory each side parted ways surprisingly amicably, with minimal mindwiping on the ordo malleus' part. The three Sons of Sanguinius returned to their home, no longer viewed with suspicion of barely veiled mistrust. But as heroes of the chapter. Mikaelus was made a full sanguinary priest, Ephraim advanced to the rank of Epistolary and gained Mephiston's eye as a new protege, and Hadrian was advanced to the lofty realm of the Sanguinary Guard, Praetorians of the chapter, where he was promoted to Guard-Sergeant, the blessing of Dante as his new successor and granted stewardship over the ancient guard-sergeant Zuriel's Armour, and the Ancient chapter relic--The Blade of Raldoran.

The Blood Angels wear the standard Mark VII power armor with a few modifications to suit their needs.

In the light of recent events, Commander Hadrian has decided to let his Chapter take full use of all their equipment stored in their armoury. Due to this, A lot of their weapons will be slightly improved and some few units using the most cherished of all their equipment.

Also, one of Hadrians acts to try and bolster his ranks before the war erupted was becoming allies with nearby forge worlds, resulting in him being granted use of the Night Terror titan legion. This legion being compromised of the following:

Backstory:

(Before I start, I'm just going to say I'm not going to write the entire blood angels history. I'm just gonna do what is important for you to know.)

The rather newly appointed Commander Hadrian was going through his daily routine when the Sanguinary High Priest Corbulo approached him, a rather concerned look covering his face.
''Commander Hadrian'', he began ''I... I've had a vision! A terrible vision of much pain and the galaxy being ripped apart!''
Commander Hadrian raised an eyebrow, curious as to what this vision had entailed and if he knew how to deal with it. He decided to go with his curiosity. ''Did your vision show you how it happened? How to prevent it?'' Corbulo shook his head slowly. ''Both yes and no. It showed me what happened but not how to stop it.... Commander, my vision showed me the Emperor dying.''
Hadrian's face grew stern and his gaze cold. He grabbed Corbulo and dragged him to his private chambers. '' We must not let the wrong people hear this. They will call you a heretic and most likely kill you. My friend, I believe you. I will do all I can to prepare for what is ahead and make sure that we will do all we can to stop this.'' Corbulo nodded slowly, to Hadrians approval. Hadrian quickly dismissed Corbulo as he pondered over the news brought to him.

It was tricky for Hadrian to do much. The inquisitors were infamous for taking loyal space marines, calling them heretics and slaughter them, no matter their status. Although he did start taking measures to get ready for the catastrophe ahead. He would go against the codex and start to increase the recruitment, scouring actively all the tribes for people worthy to become Blood Angels. He also started bolstering his armored regiment, getting all extra vehicals he could. Although he realised it would not be enough to save the emperor, he tried his best.

His work did not go unnoticed though. The famed Sanguinor, Famous due to showing up when things looked darkest, had indeed showed up. Silent as ever he had his aura of authority around him, kneeling infront of Hadrian as a signal of offering his services. The baffled commander could do nothing but laugh as he readily accepted his services.

It was then he got the idea... He would awake Commander Dante from his sleep inside the Dreadnought he had been placed in. Hadrian stepped forward, kneeling down infront of the legendary Commander.

''Arise Hadrian, I am listening.''
Hadrian hesitated before standing upright, looking at Dante, or atleast the metal creature he had been placed inside. ''Dante. I fear our end draws close. High Priest Corbulo has had a vision showing the emperors demise and the galaxy falling apart. I fear there is nothing we can do to stop this.'' The room grew quiet as Dante quietly thought about the situation, a loud humm being sounded as he came to his conclusion.

''I have grown to trust Corbulo's visions, and if he has seen it then there is nothing you can do to stop it. But that does not mean you should give up. Prepare the Angels, in the times ahead of us the Empire will need us more than ever. If we are there to defend the imperium, then the galaxy will be destroyed by the different xenos and traitors out there.'' It was then that Dante recited his famous quote that had been so often repeated in the Blood Angels' stronghold.
'For eleven hundred years, I have fought and I have seen the darkness in our galaxy. I have seen the vileness of the alien and the heresy of the mutant. I have witnessed the sin of possession. I have seen all the evil that the galaxy harbours, and I have slain all whose presence defiles the Emperor. I have seen what you will see. I have fought what you must fight, and I have slain what you must slay... so fear not and be proud, for we are the sons of Sanguinius, the protectors of Mankind. Aye, we are indeed the Angels of Death. ''

Hadrian nodded slowly, speaking the words over in his mind as he thanked the great Dreadnoguht, letting it go back to rest as he knew what he must do. He would have to prepare the Blood Angels for toughest fight in the history of man.
