Ruby always felt the need to be in the center of attention whenever she had the chance to, at times being mischievous or even threatening to achieve this. Despite her real age, she looks and acts like a 10 year old, pouting when she's not pleased, crying easily once scolded, doing anything in her power to grab people's attention. Due to her petite stature, Ruby takes advantage of this by acting cute and helpless but dislikes being treated as an inferior, as if a child. Because of how she is, Ruby dreams of being a top Pokemon coordinator with all the people's eyes on her and her partners.

While Ruby seems immature personality wise, she takes proper care of her beloved partner Pokemons. Grooming their fur clean, treating them to snacks, training them for performance routines and such, she takes her responsibility as an owner properly. The way she sees her Pokemon is that of a comrade, pals, who aim to be the top performers.

Biography:
Born to a Pokemon ranger father and a Pokemon groomer mother, Ruby was raised in the center of the region, Brittanium City. Ever since as a child, Ruby was able to capture people's eyes onto her, whether it be her cute looks, her parents' 'cool' jobs or the luxurious materials she was able to afford thanks to her parents. In short, Ruby was a spoiled brat who lived a luxurious life in the city. But at the back of her mind, Ruby had always wanted to travel and to become a star.

Due to his job, Ruby's father was often out of the city but every time he would come home to his family, he would tell about the wild adventures he and his partner would go through. This piqued Ruby's interest to travel around the continent with her very own partner, Berry, who was once an Eevee not too long ago. If she wanted to become a star and travel, both at the same time, she thought to herself, wouldn't becoming a Pokemon coordinator be perfect? Traveling from contest hall to another with her performing partners, recruiting more partners along the way, sounded like a great idea that even both her parents consented to her ideals.

Day after day, Ruby and Berry practiced and danced different performance routines they would observe from different contests held at the city hall, using them as practice before they could create their own. Just being cute was not enough it seems, Ruby had a difficult time creating their own unique performance routines. Her mother cheered on from the sidelines, being in charge of their hair/grooming and costumes. Months and months of observing, practicing, and routine creating (oh and Berry evolving into a Sylveon), Ruby decided that it was about time that they finally make a debut in the Pokemon contest world, leaving their hometown and onward towards Beryllium City.

Persona - The True Self

Shizuka Otonashi || Sapphire Inn || July 5 SUN

With a pink magical staff in hand, adorned with a star atop the tip, Shizuka was among the crowd of teens who seemed to have owned the same unique abilities that she had recently discovered. Despite the calm expression upon her face as she intently listened to Rui for instructions, Shizuka was amazed by all these, magical powers to fight crime like they did in games and manga. But as any rational person in her situation would be, she was afraid and worried what lied beyond the safe area they were currently at. Were there going to be some kind of monsters? Insane murderers? Something she couldn't have ever imagined?

As her thoughts wandered off, Shizuka recalled the events that led her to where she was, starting from the previous day. As she paid a visit to the manga club room, it had started off with a series of screaming and jumping, specifically by the name of Shizuka and Ryan. After such an embarrassing scene, the club president briefly introduced what the club was about, since Shizuka's reason for her visit was evident. After a couple of exchange of formalities and club application paper in hand, Shizuka left the club room with a smile upon her face.

Since it was a weekend, Shizuka had the shift at the cosplay cafe, Star Drop Cafe, where Rui had been awaiting for her. As he was a customer, Shizuka having a conversation with him as a waitress was totally not considered as skipping work. As she had been dying to know ever since she was released from the hospital, Rui gave a detailed explanation on what was going on, what they have been doing so far and what he asked of her. There was a moment of thoughtful silence but Shizuka being Shizuka, seeing this as some kind of fateful encounter and events that led her to become a magical girl persona user, and that she was given her power for a reason, Shizuka accepted the offer.

Now here she was with the rest of the team. Seeing as they were to be heading to the cavern route, Shizuka stared at the cavern in dread. The place screamed danger all over it yet they had to. "Um... Are we truly going there?"

Shizuka Otonashi || Warakuma High: Classroom 1-1 || July 4 SAT: After School

Just as the previous kidnapees in their class had been treated, once Shizuka had returned to attending classes since Wednesday, she was bombarded with curious or concerned questions here and there. Once it got out of control from time to time, her friends Nozomi and Rinko were there to break up the crowd, giving the maiden back her own personal space. After the whole ordeal in her dungeon, the secretive girl slowly opened up, which obviously meant telling her two best friends about her 'frowned-upon-by-general-society' hobbies. To her surprise, or not so surprise, the two actually accepted the fact but with shocked expression on their faces. It was indeed unexpected for a girl like Shizuka to be into those sort of things but it didn't mean they would think different of her. Shizuka was still Shizuka, as Rinko would say.

As the week slowly ended, the questions thrown towards her slowly died down. With her not attending the agriculture club meetings, Shizuka busied herself with other activities she had not been doing recently such as swimming, tennis, and practicing on the violin. As previously mentioned, the young mistress may have indulged into different sorts of activities in different fields, but she was pretty average in terms of expertise for most, if not all of them. With how busy she was with these activities, she informed Kenji, the manager of the cosplay cafe who thankfully just came out of the kidnapping incident with injuries, that she hoped to lessen her shifts to just weekends. He understood, after giving another comment about enjoying her spring of youth to the fullest, as he usually did.

Seeing as she had no plans for the day, Shizuka was just about to head home when she realized that she had yet to drop a visit at the manga room and hopefully, if they were still accepting club members, would let her join in. It was probably not a club meeting day but if she were lucky, she might catch one of the members in the club room if they were as devoted to the club as... An image of Matt flashed across her mind as she immediately shook her head to get rid of the image. This was not the time to feel depressed, get a smile ready and make a good first impression on whoever was around, .... if there were any around.

Before sliding the door to the manga club room open, Shizuka politely intruded, "E-Excuse me, is anyone here...?"
