Current Ever had that moment were you've just lost a battle of wills with your dog and think to yourself, "maybe I should be the one sleeping on the floor"? I have. It's oddly liberating.

My Lit Lecturer used Matt Fraction's Hawkeye run to display the effect of narratology in class today. It's the first thing he's spoken about all term that I've actually read.

How good is the Punisher in Netflix's Daredevil series? "Just some guys who are about to walk into a diner for the last time." That line is so manly it could make a toddler sprout a beard.

The Justice League trailer is giving me mixed emotions. On the one hand, I desperately want to get hyped. On the other, Snyder and co have burnt me too many times in the past. I'm a conflicted mess.

What? The Lethal Weapon tv show isn't utter garbage at all, instead being an enjoyable watch. What the fuck is the world coming to?

Bio

For all you know I'm handsome as hell. Let's keep it that way.

@Arcarius@SgtEasy Both your characters are accepted.
@PrivateVentures It would be cool. Potentially a heavy weapon idea. @Dervish's character could certainly utilize something like that, and @MechonRaptor's could potentially make it. In the RP proper Ellias, Ravanor, and Rayes'Xum could discuss the idea. Good bonding session.

Basically, just makes him even more durable. A charging Krogan is a huge issue to any biotic barrier, but when that biotic barrier can transfer and throw off 90% of that kinetic energy, chances of survival go waaaaay up.

You gotta remember, medi gel would do almost nothing for him. That suit is his lifeline, and he must protect with everything he's got.

Ok, but I still don't see how it accomplishes that using the mass effect. I'm gonna have to say no to it. If a Krogan charges him he could always just Throw them
@PrivateVentures So whats the point of catch? It doesn't seem to do anything that the biotic barrier doesn't do already.
@PrivateVentures

Sounds like something like that would require a lot of delicate, refined control. I would accept it on the condition that the user of Dyson Sphere has to actively maintain the technique, and therefore leaves themselves open to attack while using it.

What about Crash?
@AquaAzura Edits look good, Milina is accepted.

@Silver Fox Again, the edits look good to me. If @MrDidact gives you the all clear then Phalanx is accepted.

@PrivateVentures I’m much more comfortable with the capacities of this revised character than the original incarnation. However please remember during play that Biotic abilities have a pretty substantial energy cost, and one can easily burn themselves out through extended use if they’re not careful (This note really goes for anyone thinking of using a biotically capable character.) Ellias is accepted.

About the powers though. How does Dyson Sphere turn an enemy’s shield or barrier into a ‘garbage disposal tornado’? My thought would be through the use of small, localised singularities, but that just begs the question, why not use singularities? And I’m not sure if biotics would allow one to transfer kinetic energy in the way catch describes. I thought biotics was just an ability to create mass effect fields? If I’m wrong, please correct me. IronMaiden is fine though, I can’t see any issues with it.

@Arcarius still waiting for a PM about that vengeance thing before I’ll ok the character.

@DarkFey If I haven’t said it already, I think your sheets good. Unless @MrDidact has anything to add you’re good to drop that bad boy in the CS section.

@The Spectre You still haven’t answered my initial question of how he earned money while living on the Citadel.

@MechonRaptor Great sheet. I’m sure it wouldn’t be the first time someone has taken advantage of the lax labour laws concerning indentured servitude in Illium, to the point where it is more closely resembles slavery. If the Eclipse paid off the right bureaucrats I can easily see them getting away with what they did too Rayes on Illium. I’d say you can leave it as Illium, to show the darker side of that particular planet.

If I’ve missed anyone please let me know.
@Silver Fox Hmm interesting idea to make Phalanx a merc, though what would it do with credits?

Spend it all on hookers and booze, duh. Gawd, don't you know nothing about Geth!?!
@Silver Fox Nobody is applying for Spectre status. Your character would be a member of a Spectre led task force that has been given the mission of protecting peace in the post-war galaxy. However despite the fact they aren't Spectres themselves, they would still need to have shown themselves to be worthy joining the team.
@Silver Fox I was just heading for bed for the night, but gave your sheet a cursory glance. The only issue I spotted was that there's no reason supplied in your backstory for why she would be on the Spectre's radar. What got our attention and made us say "We need Phalanx on our team!" I'll have another, more indepth look sometime this weekend, and if MrDidact pops on before me hopefully he'll get a chance too.

@Leos Klien Go for it.
