Bio

~Angel Vicky~

Been a member of the old Roleplayer Guild since 2012 - I tend to do more Advanced. My favourite lore is Angelic (you probably couldnt tell by my name!), medieval, Ancient Rome/Greece/Egypt and Norse mythology. My fave writing genre is sci-fi and fantasy but I like drama, comedy, suspense and angst with a bit of romance thrown in!

I tend to do only 1x1 rps nowadays as they are less chaotic with less people, as they say "too many cooks around the pot". Here is my current interest check.

My Hobbies include: roleplaying (obviously!), astronomy, writing poetry, dance electronica music and raving, pets, video gaming, cosplaying.

At that Varia nodded at the Sarge and swaps out her sniper for the Vector CRB gun. Much more suited to close combat, and her trusty dagger at the side. She then followed him up the stairs.
Val did not agree to wearing the Inquisitor symbol on her clothes while dealing with civs. They would get very uptight and closed off their information upon seeing it, she had learned throughout her travels. And so she would often go under cover as a mercenary or pirate. She overheard a couple of people talking across the stall from her.

"Hmm....interesting..." She thought to herself. She then picked up her bag and proceeded toward the Drunken Astronaut.

She pushed the door open with some force behind it, that it slammed open and everyone in the bar turned to look at her. She glares right back at them all. She was not to be messed with.

The bartender did as Aidan ordered and poured her a whiskey as she approached the bar and dropped herself on the stool next to the Inquisitor.
Varia follows at the back, turning with her scope to the horizon behind them just to make sure nothing ambushed from behind. She thought she saw something move but she shook her head and continued to follow Sergeant Drake. She hadn't known the man long but she sense she could trust his judgement and leadership.

They got to the main entrance of the Wey-Yu building. Some form of slime encased the doorway.
More like so he could slack off and booze in the bar she thought with a slight huff of annoyance. However, she proceeded to go to the merchants, as tasked without much dallying.

What was necessary on this upcoming mission that she had to guess where they would be going and what environments they'd be up against? So, she did the best she could. An all-weather terrain poncho. Water. Food rations. The basics, the bare essentials. She perused the long line of metallic shed stalls and her heavy boots clunked against the metal cladding walkway.

But one thing did catch her eye. An ornate dagger. It sparkled in the light in such a way that it just HAD to be noticed. She picks up the dagger, of red adorned with jewels. She felt the weight of it in her palm, feeling the balance of the blade. She was taken in by its deadly beauty. But, it was a frivolous thing. And she would never need for such ornaments. Not in this life.
At that notion. Varia checks through her sniper scope, yet she saw nothing. They had to proceed with extreme caution.

"What do you think we'll find in there?" The other girl asked Varia, who responded. "Death." She grimaced at the thought. But that was the reality here.
Varia placed her helmet over her head and clasped it in place. She cocked her sniper rifle, making sure it was fully loaded and ready to fire. She examines the scope, full battery on her laser sight. She was good to go. At the Sarge’s orders she stands and follows the rest of the drop ship crew out of the shuttle and stepped onto the sandy terrain. That she had not expected. She was smart enough to know that this wasn’t right.

She takes it upon herself to check out the horizon using her scope, examining their surroundings. “Clear.” She remarks and points her sniper rifle down to the floor. She awaits her next instruction.
@FacePunch just needed a rough location so I know where I can take him when if he escapes.

Valkyrie can take him wherever he wants to go.
Yeah sounds good to me. @rush99999
As Starfire agilely glided from behind one wall to the next, slinking her way past the cameras. Then she heard the cries of the three lookouts behind her down the hallway. She followed the main robbers toward the vault. She wondered why they were screaming. Of course, it must have been this planet’s Champion! Her eyes light up with green energy in excitement. She was not one for containing her emotions. As they did so, the armed men in front of her see the green light from around the corner in which she had hidden.

“Hey! Who’s there! Show yourself!” Their leader yells and points his sawn off shotgun toward the green light. Starfire gasps and closes her eyes tight, the green light disappearing. She huddled around herself with her head hung low so her hood could cover her face. The man walks over to her hiding spot and sees the small girl huddled around her knees.

“Hey! What you doin’ down here kid!?” He shoves the shotgun in her face; it would be no good if this witness remained alive to tell the cops what they looked like. She slowly looks up at the man. He starts to slowly back away. Starfire could see he held some kind of strange weapon. Her features startled him as her hood falls back to reveal flaming red hair that looked almost on fire.

She did not take kindly to being threatened. And this man was up to no good. He was in a place that looked like it housed important artefacts or documents. Starfire had a very strong sense of justice. She grabbed his shotgun and picks it up, picking him up on the end of it as well.

The leader dangles and cries out in fear of this alien Amazoness who appeared from nowhere. She simply shook him off the gun and then bent it over her knee. Then simply hands it back to him with a confused expression on his face, rendering it useless. His two friends start firing their guns at her. She darts through the air behind some desks for cover. She was not bulletproof, unfortunately.

All Nightwing would have heard was some yelling about some kid being down there, then a cry of fear, followed by a barrage of gunfire. Something was definitely up. Maybe it was his ex-comrades in the Titans? Perhaps Raven had teleported herself in and came to stop them, since no-one had seen neither hide nor hair of her for some time. He would not have expected an extra-terrestrial who was kidnapped by other extra-terrestrials and forced to escape to Earth. That’s for sure.
Varia sat on the right hand side row, two from the front. She was one of two women in the squad. She was relatively inexperienced in combating bugs but she had a brilliant mind. She was also a scientist. She was here to figure out their origin. Their source may lead to their ultimate defeat. She sighs as the Sergeant cracks a joke about Hell. She took it all very seriously. She wasn't your usual marine. She was actually quite a pretty female soldier, unlike her team mate who resembled an Amazonian butcher. But she knew how to handle herself from the male chauvinists in the group.

She had martial arts training, although not overly strong, she was fast and agile enough to make a quick dispatch of you. She had been trained since the age of ten, because her parents wanted her to be able to defend herself in these scary times. Now, she had been thrown into the bug exterminator squadron under orders from the Corporation after 5 years combat training in the field alongside her medical degree. Their orders were to get her to the lab and help her investigate.

"Hey Varia, after this you maybe wanna get a drink sometime?" One of the male soldiers asked her and she just stares at him, unamused. "Really? We're about to go shoot up some aliens and you think that's a good time to ask someone out?" She raised her eyebrows in disbelief then shakes her head, sighing.
