@Meiyuki That's a fair point! Always gives me the chance to do twin tricks on others. The good ole Fred and George Wesley duo xD!
Just throwing this out there for funsies. I'm making a character sheet for Morgan. Her heterosexuality is under attack because of her (baka) twin Kim. Deciding if I want her straight or bisexual. Opinions? Otherwise, I'll flip a nifty coin. The batting-for-the-same-team syndrome is hereditary it seems ....
@smarty0114 Expect a snarky, sassy text to Charlie next time I post ....

Kimberly laughed as she poked Riley on the arm. "Always prepared. Why do I even bother?" Looking over at Alyssa, she rose an eyebrow and smirked. "I'm sure miss Paige wouldn't dream of missing a chance to show off her sweet bod. But yeah, I'm game on going on a RV retrieval outing. But food. You sure you want to pay? I missed venison to eat out with my girls."

Looking at Jack's Cafe's menu, everything looked really good to her. Whenever she went out to restaurants, her folks would always call her the 'slowpoke' of the Thatchers. It wasn't her fault. Not really. Kimberly wanted to try everything, but she always settled on a favorite dish. She was reluctant to try anything new after that. Today she was trying to break out of her little comfort default. Fishing for her mental coin, she trusted said coin to be unbiased. Even if it wasn't. She simply didn't want to find a real coin. Plus, there was never anything wrong with turning a two-sided coin into a twelve sided coin. Whatever the occasion demanded.

Before she got too involved in the menu, Kimberly remembered something stashed in her purse. Getting up from her chair, she went over to Alyssa side. She sat down. "Hey, so you might've forgot, but," Kimberly reached into her purse and pulled out a hair tie. She opened Alyssa's hand and placed the hair tie in it and closed it, "I borrowed this when we were out running. Last week or something. Thanks for letting me use it." Looking at Alyssa's face, her eyes trailed to her hair. "You looked nice with a ponytail..."

Starting to regret saying anything, Kimberly praised whatever powers may be as the cafe door opened. She turned around and looked at the new comer. The girl was most definitely out of town. Easy on the eyes, Kimberly wondered if she was here to stay or simply passing on through. She seemed like the city girl rather than a small towner.

Following Riley's example, Kimberly smiled and waved. Until proven otherwise, she gave folks the benefit of the doubt. Taking out her phone, she found her text conversation with Aron. She tapped the bubble and began to type a message:

Hey Cinnabon <3! Hottie alert just went off. I guess tell your dumb twin too

She sent the message. Re-reading the previous text, she wrote up another one:

P.S. Love him ;)

Putting her phone back in her purse, Kimberly waited for the stranger to come on over and join them. If she wanted to of course.

@Mikellh Dejax I think the name is fine. If anything, it can lead to character conflict. Depending on your character's disposition and actions, his name could be used as a derogatory term to either compare him to the Varrens or simply call him a Varren. Both cases have unique connotations to them.

Just my two cents!
Two interest nibbles. Yay!

Kimberly mirrored Alyssa's grin and gave her a wink. "Meh, you've still gotta ways to go," she teased back. Hearing Alyssa talk about track, Kimberly felt herself being drawn back to very familiar waters. "I'm down. Lacrosse is revving to go too. I wouldn't mind missing some running and gym time. Plus, I could use a spotter on the squat racks."

When Alyssa asked Riley the question, Kimberly placed her hands on Riley's shoulders. She stared at Alyssa. "I think instead of asking, we'll just have to drag her out." Kimberly gave Riley's shoulders a gentle squeeze. "She's got no excuse either. Plenty athletic. You ever gone dirt biking with her?" Kimberly gave a slight nod. "Athletic."

Letting go of Riley, Kimberly felt her phone buzz. She pulled it out and checked it. Texts from Morgan.

Kim? Venison. Oh my god. Dad's not saving any for you.

Kim texted back:

You better make him, Morg. Seriously. I helped catch that buck.

Putting her phone on the table, Kimberly drummed her fingers against the counter. She stopped drumming. She looked over at her friends. "Don't forget your swimsuits. We're totally swimming at the lake."

Giving Riley a wink, Kimberly ended the brief phone call with Alyssa. "I guess she's already heading over. Perfect!" Biting her lip, Kimberly's eyes played over Riley's face. She sighed. "You excited for the trip? Love going up to the lake! Nice break away from the town. Word on the streets says they'll be more people heading up with us. Confirmation?"

Hearing the door open, Kimberly looked over. Her eyes widened momentarily as she stopped them from roaming too much. She found Alyssa's pretty face and locked onto her eyes. She smiled yet again. The trifecta was here. "Hey Lyssa!"

When Alyssa crossed over to join them, Kimberly watched as Alyssa and Riley hugged. She soaked in the sight until the two pulled away from each other. She was quick to avert her gaze yet again. They were friends. Just friends. Right? Course, it was silly to deny her ever thinking she could be more than friends with either of them, but why ruin the good thing they had going? Plus, word could never get out to her parents. Kimberly already knew how they'd react. She'd be inviting Armageddon to happen sooner than it should.

"I finished packing this morning too," Kimberly said. "You want company fetching the dream machine? I've got a pretty clear schedule. Someone's gotta make sure little missy here stays out of trouble too."

Kimberly looked over at Alyssa. "Say Lyssa. When're we running again?" About to comment her attire, another thought popped up in Kimberly's head. "By the way, there's an amateur fight airing the weekend we get back from the trip. You in? Obviously, you're invited, Ri."
