"Well, I wouldn't want you blaming your equipment once this is over," said Isen'roy.

The red-haired warrior stood up casually and grabbed the hilt of his blade. It was the same technique he had used on Solomon two weeks back. A quick draw technique that made use of a vaccum created by the cut to create a shock wave.

Three slashes, three shockwaves. Each of them packed considerable power and they were all heading towards Adrian. If he couldn't handle something of this level, then he wasn't worth talking about.

Adrian was slightly caught off guard by the sudden attack and squatting was proving to be the worst possible position to be in. A quick yoink brought Whisper out of its case with his quiver and a hasty incantation brought up a three barriers in front of him. It was probably overkill, but he was unsure of how powerful each one would be.

There was no time to waste with his usual snarky commentary. This fight could get out of hand very quickly. That's not to say he was overly concerned about collateral damage, but rather he wanted to keep things flowing in a predictable manner.

"Oh? Not bad," said Isen'roy who was already on the move. The shockwaves almost traded evenly with the barriers leaving only a sole barrier. Instead of wrapping around it and avoiding it, Isen'roy decided to go directly for Adrian.

Scraping the blade on the ground so the friction created heat, the blade ignited in flames. He easily cleaved through the the barrier and was headed toward's Adrian's Torso.

@Crimson LionYes, we're actually in the midst of a collab.

E: Instead of writing out a big chunk, I guess we'll post it in parts in case anyone decides to intervene or give comments during the fight.
It's sorta obvious it's meant to be a freeflow type of RP.

Meaning the plot is whatever people make of it.
I've had a couple players tell me that it felt like cheating to read posts that have nothing directly to do with their character, which is an understandable mindset. In a large group, reading everything can feel extremely confusing, since the narratives are never in exact chronological order.

That's actually a really interesting point of view. However, it'd also mean said people would miss out area type events. For example a big fight happening in a classroom but they never noticed it because their in a conversation and they they didn't read the posts of others.
Cowboy and a Berserker??

Both Miles and Basir are accepted :)

@SwarthyBard126Bruh, you haven't posted at all.
On that note, is it better to respond to everything you think your character would have a say in, even if it's a conversation between other people, or should one be more selective with what they respond to, to keep up realism? The first option would have a lot more content and interactivity between the characters, but I understand how it could get annoying if someone interrupts your dialogue with their own opinions or thoughts on the matter.

Never do the first option you gave. You should keep your character, in character.

Anyway, if it's in your character to respond, then yeah? Like if he's a vocal person who hates liars and notices the conversation about a liar between two others, he SHOULD react. People usually don't mind if you join in on their conversation. However, this is totally different from attempting to join every conversation and so forcefully.
@Crimson Raven Yes, multiple characters are allowed.
@Animus thank you for the confirmation. But now I just realized that i made the reward incredibly high

You could always just change it since the post was recent >_>" 1 million gold would be on the likes of a Kingdom's entire royal treasury.
Kurapika, I THINK he was a mage, it's been years

He wasn't a mage nor anything close to it. The only think 'mage-like' was his ability to conjure chains. And every time I see an IC post of Harley flirting, that DP of yours becomes extremely distracting.

<Snipped quote by TheDarkTemplar>

Doing a collab with @Shikaru sounds like a pretty solid way to introduce your new character.

And speaking of which, when the comes, @Animus, are we simply going to do a collab post for the Isen'roy/Adrian action?

Sure we can.

Name: Kelsier
...
...
...
Haste: He speeds the rate of time on the target, making the target faster, not just physically but mentally too.
Paradox: This skill rewinds time back up to a minute. It takes all the energy he has, so after using it he is completly exausted, but with it he can go back and change what just happend.

I see no issues with him. Kelsier is accepted. Regarding the issues of OP-ness, it always comes down to how the person himself handles his character. For example, Diggy, you didn't do stuff like one-shot Searzon the moment Hazel saw it even though she could have done it easily. Plus there are always GM methods of handling powerful characters kekekekeke.

Anyone remember what type of currency this RP uses?

Bronze, silver and gold coins. 100 bronze = 1 silver and a 100 silver = 1 gold. Regarding their monetary, a silver coin can last cover a commoner's expenses (food+lodging) for a week.
Everyone should read my posts but I can hardly be bothered to read the posts of anyone else.

So many people with this mindset.

Reading posts in a game you are in should happen. If there is a lot of people, then reading the ones that are directly related to you(Or your area) should happen. If it doesn't, then the mistakes will be glaring and you can usually pick them out of the line-up.

I agree with most of what you said. While its more forgiveable, I honestly feel that even if other people's characters are heading in a different direction, people should still read them. What makes the RP enjoyable is being involved and attached with not only your char but other people's chars as well. Otherwise, why even roleplay? People could just write their own fanfiction and fantasize over how their character is the main protagonist who is really strong, really capable, have a dark past and etc etc.

Btw, I'm not shooting you or anything. Just elaborating more on my opinion on the matter.
