Kasumi is like an anti-social cat that everyone wants to pet.

this member of the Akatsuki even goes as far as to later engineer a "Hyuga Massacre" event to wipe out the majority of the Main Family and thereby free the Branch House by removing anyone that could hold their reins.

You can't have an Akatsuki member without a clan massacre.

Message recieved! Virgil's being left in the dust, haha.
Hikari’s arrow struck the knee cap of one of the Suna invaders camped outside the village, penetrating their leg and causing irreversible damage. The injured ninja would likely never work another mission again, the struggles they had endured to arrive where they were, their life’s story as a shinobi was cut short with a single projectile, however, they did not writhe in agony, in fact the pierced ninja had no reaction at all, they stood stoically with an arrow penetrating their leg.

Lin rambled alongside Shinya, obliviously intruding on the boy's walk home. Lin was seething with a confused, displaced anger that he didn’t understand. His feelings manifested in a monologue, able to vent in Shinya’s company.

"Yes, I am walking back to the Aburame Compound. I assume your destination is in the same general direction?”

“Why is he always smiling? What does he have to be so happy about?”

“In regards to your question...I did see that, yes. However…”

“His parents aren’t even Ninja, they’re woodcutters!”

“I have to say that I could not perceive any merit from said actions. Why?”

“He shouldn’t be in the academy, he should be in the sawmill.”

“Because doing so accomplishes nothing but risking enmity against you at best and retaliation at worst. “

“I thought he was gonna cry - PAH!”

“If I am to be honest, were you to 'drop the joke' a few seconds later, “

“I better not get teamed up with him, he’ll get his team killed.”

“I would have incapacitated you.”

Lin caught the last snippet of Shinya’s advice, to which he raised an eyebrow, “You - incapacitate… me? Bug Boy!” Lin burst into a hearty laughter and tried to give Shinya a hefty pat on the back. “Hey, you’re pretty funny. You know what, follow me! I buried something cool in the woods!” Lin was referring to a small bottle of sake he’d stolen from his parents and buried beneath a tree for safe-keeping, however, he was not aware that his burial spot was currently occupied by enemy shinobi. Lin leapt onto a roof, ushering Shinya to join him.

While Kasumi and Ren chose a place to eat, Mu was feeling overwhelmed standing in the street despite his best attempts to put on a brave face. It was unlike him not to partake in a conversation but his ears were ringing, he was barely paying attention. He looked especially small stood behind his friends. Anxiety was pooling in his chest and around his eyes, he couldn’t hold it in any longer - a single tear fell down his cheek. He let it roll and mix with the rain, he was soaked again but this time with shame. Not everyone was destined to become a shinobi, Mu was suddenly questioning whether it was what he wanted. Lin’s game had rocked his stomach, he didn’t have an appetite anymore.

… ”I mostly pay for myself, but I have had very few friends before and they always paid or my parents paid for them.”

Mu stepped back from his friends, observing them together. Ren and Kasumi would become ninja and he would be a woodcutter.
Should we wait for Virgil?

Question of the Day: Can you describe an AU member of the Akastuki? (Keep it short, haha.)
In my next post, I can fast-forward the class - unless you wanted Professor Birch to mention something important? @TheNoCoKid
Posted @anothered since you're leaving to me, I'm having Hikari intercept.

<Snipped quote>

Shinya and Hikari would just do what the Hyuga and Aburame do in canon. Shinya would use his bugs. While Hikari would just use Byakugan. Kinda boring but let's be real, that's just the most optimal way for them to cheat. Though Hikari would probably pretend to think by placing her hands on the side of her face and massaging her temples to hide the veins that would indicate she's using the Byakugan

It would be so easy for Shinya. Shana would be Sharinganin' - so all he'd have to do is pass the answers to Lin who obviously wouldn't be sabotaging their team. He'd be the clear mvp of the written exam.

Edit: Okey pokey!
<Snipped quote by anothered>
The other thing she'd potentially do is actively try to find ways to disqualify other teams by baiting them into or framing them for cheating, eliminating as much of the competition as she can.

This would be Lin's strategy. From the get go, he'd be asking everyone the answers in other people's voices.

Maybe Mu would be able to answer the questions... but he's more of an inventor than an academic so probably not. I guess Kasumi would have to figure out how to get the answers to him since he definitely wouldn't try to cheat.

Ren: "I don't know for sure, but it probably involves a Crane Summon and a few Transformations."

Yes, the subtlety of cranes in an examination room.
Question of the Day:

What would be your character's cheating method for the Chunin Written Exam?

"Yo... wazzup…” - Teddy

Sugar spun around with the speed of a concerned elder sister, she gasped with relief and beckoned Teddy to come closer, "Oh, Teddy! You're safe, thank goodness!" The camaraderie between staff at the Lucky Catch was clear in the way she embraced her co-worker. Although they'd only been at sea for two days, restaurant time runs longer than real time - one hour feels like five in the kitchen. Sugar was glad to see the kid she already considered a little brother.

"Are you two doing alright? You look awful..." - Teddy

The little brat. Rage flooded Sugar's face, a terrible trembling, of a Richter scale they'd not yet experienced aboard the S.S. Lugia thus far rumbled from her frame. She raised her palm like the wide brim of a frying pan, ready to knock Teddy across the head. Garscon whisked her away to the side, smoke venting from Sugar like a burnt meal in an oven. Garscon clicked his fingers four times, once with each hand; with the fourth, Sugar snapped back to composure.

"Hey, glad to see you two made it. Looks like we're all relatively unscathed; your, uh, Machamp's suit here notwithstanding.” - JR

At this point, Machamp was apathetic - it seemed all anyone wanted to talk about was how disheveled he appeared. He rolled his eyes and guided Sugar back to the group. "Oh, hey! I'm so happy you're safe, I still owe you a meal." She said. In front of her were three individuals: one had saved Garscon from severe injury, another had complimented her cooking and the third was her co-worker. She glanced at Garscon, he knew what she was thinking - we have to keep them safe. In the moment, Sugar had fallen behind in the conversation, she chased after Teddy who'd ran off with his pokemon.

"Looks like the scent is going towards the back of the boat, Miss," - Teddy

They stood within the mall-like interior of the ship, shimmering debris scattered throughout the floor like dangerous obstacles. It would take them about thirty minutes to reach the back of the ship - Sugar spotted a large M, advertising a short flight of stairs that lead to the ship's metro line, a single straight railway with three stops: Bow Station, Mid Station and Stern Station. "Let's see if the Metro is safe." she said, taking the stairs down to the platform.

Meanwhile, in the main stadium, a dark cloud of Shuppets had descended on the people lingering atop the clockwork, their blue teardrop eyes pin-pointing on Jun, Joshua and Hail, mysteriously encircling them and the other remaining passengers.
I've just imagined that the ship has its own metro system, so we're bout to get on a train - inside a giant ship.

Everyone, you're also allowed to add things like this if you want to. Don't be afraid to contribute to world building.
