Say what you will, she served 70 years and worked until her dying breath; may the Queen rest in well-earned peace.

If more people hated racism as much as they hate accusations of racism the world would be a dope ass place.

Bio
Jaded & cynical hopeless romantic.
I enjoy: Antagonistic banter, themes of distrust, slow-burn romance, passion, intensity, gay panic, loyalty, some mild violence, thoughtful plot twists, and well-paced plot progression.
I don't appreciate: One-liners, filler-posts-sans-progression, egregious grammar/spelling mistakes (Grammarly is free), one-dimensional characters, gratuitous homophobia, Deus ex machina, slapstick silliness, or garish depictions of mental/physical disability.
An unreasonable pet peeve I cannot help: I truly, madly, deeply dislike smilies like :) or XD in any form of conversation/interaction & it will make me flee as quickly as politely possible even if you're the second coming of RP-Jesus in other respects.

Plot Ideas
I'll add more as they come to me:
Your twin brother is part of a paramilitary resistance group comprised of young men seeking extrajudicial justice and a fairer society against the corruption of the ruling class. He's always kept you out of this world and away from the members of his team, but an upcoming mission hinges on him being in two places at once - and so begrudgingly he's drawn you into the resistance with strict orders to not get close or trust anyone, especially his combat partner and long-time rival he's constantly butting heads with. Will sparks fly despite these instructions, or will you be able to resist?
Recruited into your country's espionage program fresh out of high school, your nemesis from the first day of training has been a thorn in your side for years. Attending the same university by day, the two of you compete for girls, grades, and athletic glory. Attending the same espionage training by night, the two of you compete for rankings, recognition, and respect. In your first official undercover assignment, you're deployed together as a wealthy gay couple new to the city, tasked with infiltrating an arms-smuggling ring operating at the very height of society. Can the two of you utilize your familiarity with one another to fake it with such high stakes, or will it all come crashing down around you?
I'm also open to the ideas of others, provided they are original and/or interesting - PM me. I don't (usually) bite.
Recent events have handed me spare hours in the day & I would be remiss as a purveyor of the fine art of weaving tales of romantic gay bullshit to not take advantage of this time to engage in said art.
Do we still classify writers into literacy categories? Forgive me if not. I'd consider myself highly literate with a particular fondness for writers that can bring a scene to life without drowning it in the swampy depths of purple prose or leaving it Mojave-barren in favor of swiftness.
Like many others, I tend to write more quickly at the start of a story when caught in the initial throes of creation & slow down once the scene has been set and the novelty of the new has worn off; I should nevertheless mention that a story left to languish often dies in the imagination so I do prefer a partner that doesn't go weeks without responding.
I suppose that's enough about myself to paint a general sort of picture, and I look forward to writing with many of you in the hopefully near future.
