Bio

Hello! :)

I'm Aleksandra, and I'm a third-year university student. I've been roleplaying on and off for the past six years. I enjoy anything fantasy, mystery and slice-of-life. I tend to stick to group roleplays unless I know a person well (some bad experiences soured 1x1 for me). Happy to do romance, so long as the other user is 18+. As for gore, I'm fine with it.

I might be busy due to writing and programming my dissertation project, but I will try to be active in the evenings and weekends. I'm trying to get back into roleplaying after a three-year absence, and as such, I'm trying to stick to one or two RPs at a time so as to not overwhelm myself again.

English is not my first language, but I have lived in England for eleven years and seem to get by fine, so take that as you will

My character sheets, roleplay plots and unfinished ideas: Warning, most of this is admittedly cringe. Working on fixing that

Current RPs:
-> None at the moment

Current Interest Checks:
-> Pirates of Lreya

Sky looked at the page about mythological creatures and their links to stars. It was interesting how something so unrealistic could be paired up with something scientific. Yet it didn't surprise her. Humans were always seeking explanations for things they didn't understand and she knew that. After all, without curiosity, we wouldn't evolve.

Sky felt someone's gaze on her. She turned her head around and saw a girl looking at her. She rolled her eyes. Great, she has to socialise now. "Do you need anything?" she asked rudely.

After finishing the boring task of sorting out her things, Sky sat down on the bottom bunk and took charcoal and a piece of paper to draw on. Placing the piece of paper on top of a mythology book, she began sketching constellations ignoring the other girls which entered the cabin. As long as she wasn't disturbed, Sky would try to tolerate them.

Sky hummed "Golden Slumbers / Carry that Weight" as sketched. She already finished the Circumpolar constellations and she would draw the Spring Constellations on top of them. Halfway through she got bored of drawing and began reading the mythology book.
Skye quickly looked through her satchel to see if that was her letter. 'Oh god they'll think I'm a liar(which she was)' she thought to herself.
"Mornin' " Sky responded quietly without looking away from her book. She wondered why she even had a book titled 'Sun-beams may be extracted from cucumbers, but the process is tedious.' in her bag, but hey it's still a reading material, isn't it? Unlike the title might suggest, this book isn't about cucumbers (or sunbeams for that matter), this book is about Federalist response to Thomas Jefferson. History of America was truly interesting.

She glanced up at the clock: 5 minutes left. She violently stuffed 'Sun-beams may be extracted from cucumbers, but the process is tedious.' into her satchel and began drawing comics on a random piece of paper she found in her bag. As she finished the line art of the characters she turned the paper around realising she drew on her timetable. Sky facepalmed.

"Just great" she muttered.
"I-I don't k-know where h-he's heading, but I'm visiting my aunt," she said. She fiddled with her light pink shirt and looked back at the window. Sky hoped they didn't notice she was lying. Putting her hand inside her satchel, she looked for her water bottle- she was thirsty.
Sky's palms were sweating. Hopefully, he didn't see the contents of the letter she thought. It would be hard to make up a lie to explain it without looking childish. Sky closed the book and looked out of the window.
She glances at the letter and her eyes widen. "Y-yes it is," she says and grabs it. With a simple move of her hand, she opens the satchel and stuffs the letter inside. Sky continues reading.

Skyler's father was surprised when she asked him if she could go to the Camp Wachata. He simply didn't understand why. Her father regarded camping as a calm activity, which didn't suit Sky. She was getting more violent every year and he was pretty sure that she was planning something. Yet something inside of him told him to let her go. So he did.

Sky(ler) stepped off the bus slowly but confidently. She holds the map of the camp in her palm as she moves forwards. Her palms begin to sweat- too many people... too many unfamiliar faces. She was already regretting her decision. Yes, she wanted to be like her mother, but she didn't want any human contact. To her other people seem hostile- dangerous even. For the first time she unfolded the map. Looking over the lockations, she decided to go to The Girl's Campground hoping that there's going to be less people there.

As she opened the doors to the cabin in the middle, she noticed no one has chosen this cabin.
"Jackpot" she whispered to herself.
Sky walked up to the bed that was the furthest to the door and began sorting her luggage out.
