Bio

Hello! :)

I'm Aleksandra, and I'm a third-year university student. I've been roleplaying on and off for the past six years. I enjoy anything fantasy, mystery and slice-of-life. I tend to stick to group roleplays unless I know a person well (some bad experiences soured 1x1 for me). Happy to do romance, so long as the other user is 18+. As for gore, I'm fine with it.

I might be busy due to writing and programming my dissertation project, but I will try to be active in the evenings and weekends. I'm trying to get back into roleplaying after a three-year absence, and as such, I'm trying to stick to one or two RPs at a time so as to not overwhelm myself again.

English is not my first language, but I have lived in England for eleven years and seem to get by fine, so take that as you will

My character sheets, roleplay plots and unfinished ideas: Warning, most of this is admittedly cringe. Working on fixing that

Current RPs:
-> None at the moment

Current Interest Checks:
-> Pirates of Lreya

Marcus

@Blade17

Feeling someone's gaze on him, Marcus glanced around nervously but he was unable to find who was looking at him. He adjusted his cloak so it would cover more of his face but resolved to stay where he was. There was no doubt that the spriggan would soon be back and if he returned to give the order to leave the docks, then the navy wouldn't hesitate to immediately capture the crew, seeing that they clearly noticed its unusual design. For once he wished that instead of repairing the old ship every time something broke, they would get a new one that looked less out of place. Next time they visited a town, Marcus would certainly suggest doing so.

All he needed was a distraction long enough to at least inform the crew of the development. That way they could at least be prepared to fight or,if possible, bluff their way out. Clutching his weapon closer to his body, he observed the royal ships slowly depart from where they previously floated peacefully. The only positive thing about the whole ordeal was that none of the cannons seemed to be in use- they weren't planning on engaging with the crew just yet.

Jane

Jane didn't expect anyone else to be awake at this hour-but the prince's booming voice clearly proved her otherwise. She groaned internally- the queen was certainly going to be annoyed at breakfast. On the other hand, this meant that something would be done about the situation and the strange man. Feeling somewhat generous, she didn't intercept the guard delivering the message, after all, he was the one instructed to inform the King, meaning that he would be able to handle the encounter. Heading down into the servants' quarters, Jane decided to 'kindly' warn the cooks- she could always use a favour or two.

Head Guard Val

@Utrax

A young man approached Val, a short while after he sent out the guard with the message, informing him of who was coming instead. At once he felt himself growing more anxious. Of course on the one day when a level head was needed to deal with something as delicate as politics and law, Prince Tol would be the one in charge. He quietly prayed that the prince wouldn't do anything too harsh. Sending the man back to the village, he ordered his guards to spread out. Val didn't need any of his best guards getting injured for no reason. As he fiddled with the handle of his sword, the guard prepared himself to face Tol.
@UtraxLooks great! Accepted.

@UtraxWe would be glad to have you :)
For the race, I was planning to leave it ambiguous so go for whatever race you want.
Anya

@Squirrel98@Blade17

'' Of course. I will have one of the boys return it to you once it dries.'' said Anya somewhat awkwardly, gently taking Jack's scarf and waving some of the cabin boys over. He was clearly nervous, so she didn't want to do anything to stress him out even further. Turning back to Hope she shook her head '' Maybe I'm overreacting. He still has time to return.''. Immediately she regretted sharing her worries. She didn't want anyone to waste their energy because she was making a big deal out of nothing. There were more important things to be done once they departed and everyone would need a lot of energy for the first few days. Telling the cabin boys to fill up the washtubs with water and take out some alcohol for the tougher stains, she took off her coat as it got slightly dirty when she and Blake were returning to the ship. Flashing a smile back at the group, she followed the cabin boys down under the deck, hoping that everyone else would forget about what she said earlier.
Quinn

Quinn awoke early to a buzzing phone. Groggily she answered, seeing it was her mother calling her back. Something came up in her agency and she was busy for the majority of the night. Assuring her that she didn't mind, Quinn caught her up on how she was getting on, without omitting her disappointment with the size of her room. Her mother simply chuckled and told her it could've been worse. The conversation ended after ten minutes, with her mother telling her to focus on her classes, and instead of going back to bed, Quinn decided to get ready for the day. Once she was done in the bathroom (thankfully it was empty at the time), the girl scoured her closet for something professional, eventually settling on black trousers paired with a button-up shirt and a blue sweater vest.

Grabbing her already packed-up bag, she headed out to the cafeteria to grab breakfast. It was quite early so there were only a couple of students awake, none of which seemed awake enough to engage in a conversation. She stayed in the cafeteria until homeroom began.

Quinn felt terrible after the first day. Completely unprepared for a test, she was sure that she failed most of the questions. On top of that, the drama class mostly consisted of theory and she almost fell asleep. If it continued, she would consider dropping the class-although she would never do so. It would just give her father the satisfaction of proving his outlook on art-based classes correct. At least the English class was somewhat interesting- but she hated the teacher already. Who in their right mind would set a biography for the first day?

When she moved between classes, Quinn noticed the vendors selling various things in the courtyard. Now that the classes have ended, she decided to check them out. She walked in between the stands while fiddling with her purse, looking for something to buy. Most of it seemed to be warm food although a few were selling stationery and small accessories with the school's logo. She bought a couple of keychains for her friends back home and stashed them away in her bag. Some of the teachers were still in the area and so Quinn sometimes stopped to chat with them.
Anya

@Squirrel98@Blade17

'' If you go, I won't be able to carry both you and the captain back onto the ship. I know I will be able to swim back with one person if the ship departs- it would be concerning if I couldn't '' said Anya fixing her ponytail.

Looking out into the distance, Anya fiddled with her coat. There were around 3 hours until the sunrise and she had nothing to do. Looking down onto her shoes, she remembered her fabrics. They still needed to be washed and she was sure that some of the other crew members would appreciate some clean clothing. Leaning away from the edge of the ship, she chirpily announced: '' I think I will get the cabin boys started on the laundry. We should have enough time to wash a quarter of it. Anyone have anything that they desperately need to be cleaned?''

Head Guard Val

The spymaster pointed out a foreign ship that supposedly arrived at night, although the guard who was meant to patrol the area was too drunk to take seriously. Still, the ship didn't bear any known insignia and Val couldn't match the shape of the ship to any known styles in the region. Concerned, he sent out one of the guards to inform the king and the spymaster ventured to the navy's barracks(located not too far from where they stood) to prevent the ship from leaving. They wouldn't engage without an order from the King in case this was just a misunderstanding- they couldn't risk starting a war.
@Squirrel98 Thanks :)

Feel free to summarise the morning routine but it's not compulsory- you can just start off with what happened after the classes ended
