Bio

Hello! :)

I'm Aleksandra, and I'm a third-year university student. I've been roleplaying on and off for the past six years. I enjoy anything fantasy, mystery and slice-of-life. I tend to stick to group roleplays unless I know a person well (some bad experiences soured 1x1 for me). Happy to do romance, so long as the other user is 18+. As for gore, I'm fine with it.

I might be busy due to writing and programming my dissertation project, but I will try to be active in the evenings and weekends. I'm trying to get back into roleplaying after a three-year absence, and as such, I'm trying to stick to one or two RPs at a time so as to not overwhelm myself again.

English is not my first language, but I have lived in England for eleven years and seem to get by fine, so take that as you will

My character sheets, roleplay plots and unfinished ideas: Warning, most of this is admittedly cringe. Working on fixing that

Current RPs:
-> None at the moment

Current Interest Checks:
-> Pirates of Lreya

Marcus

''I wish you luck with your quest, your majesty!'' yelled out Marcus after Tol, satisfied to have him out of the way. It seemed like he was looking for a confrontation and Marcus was certainly not in the mood to fight. His arms were worn out after carrying the stolen goods the whole night and he ached for a moment of rest. He turned to the guard, who he felt pity for after seeing one of the people he worked for acting like a child: ''Thank you for understanding kind, sir. I will try to return as soon as possible''

The fearlessness in the guard's voice concerned him slightly. Any normal person would be somewhat wary, even suspicious of anyone who requested to bring in a weapon to a castle. Nonetheless, he wasn't going to question it. If he lingered too long, they might use other means to get him to the castle (the brutish prince would probably enjoy using force to transport them) and they could be hanged for disobeying the royal family. Saluting to the guard, he strolled on board, only to pause in shock. It took a moment for him to regain his bearings and when he did he demanded:'' What in the seven seas are you all doing?!''

The ship was in a disarray. No one bothered to clean the upper deck, half of the crew was in his PRIVATE chambers, and Blake for some foolish reason was halfway through climbing towards the crow's nest. Angrily he ordered: ''Everyone onto the deck! I have some news. Don't touch anything in my quarters unless you want to be stuck on the cleaning duty.''

Anya

@Blade17@Squirrel98

Anya nodded at Hope and Jack as they entered. It looked like it was going to be a tight fit but she was sure that they could make it work. She was growing more worried about the girl, but it wasn't the first time a fight broke out near or on the ship, and the nymph knew Hope could handle her self. Still, she was considering sneaking her below deck so she could calm down away from the commotion. There was no time though.

Watching Blake climb towards the crow's nest annoyed Anya. First of all, it was going against the plan, and second of all the crow's nest was HER area. Off-limits. No visitors allowed. Besides the sun was starting to rise. From the angle the ship was situated, the shadow cast by the pole and the nest would be visible on the docks, meaning that Blake's shadow would be visible too once the sun rose. It was too late to stop him though but at least she could try protecting her lookout box. She whisper-shouted:'' Stay out of the nest or I'll make you spend the night there. Then you'll see why the cabin boys hate the lookout duty and...''

She was interrupted by Marcus emerging onto the boat. Awkwardly she repeated the instruction to gather onto the deck to the rest of the crew, not too eager to find out what Marcus had to say.

Anya watched Jack and Hope worriedly, waiting for them to enter the cabin. She knew the pair usually avoided fighting and so she needed to get them away from the action as soon as possible. Motioning at the door, she once again called to the remaining crew members to enter before answering Blake: '' Can't come up with anything else for now. If Marcus needs help I can transform back into water, slip underneath the door and sneak up on whoever he's fighting''. Sure, she would be pretty much sick for the next following week but she was willing to make that sacrifice.

Marcus was amongst one of the best fighters on the crew, with only a couple of members being able to beat him so if he wasn't able to fight off the people on land before coming back onto the ship, then he would certainly need assistance. Rarely did they come to an unknown town, but this was the most convenient, so having to fight the authority here filled her with uncertainly. They had no idea what kind of weapons, magic or soldiers the military used here, so any fight was a gamble. She was considering staying on the deck instead, although she shut down that idea quickly, knowing that she wouldn't be able to come with an excuse if a crew member asked.

Marcus struggled to hold back a chuckle after hearing the alleyway comment. If only the guard knew what happened during the past few hours. Self-consciously, he looked down at the bag holding the stolen goods before looking back at the man. More than happy to ignore the prince (like others seemed to be doing as well), he shook his head and sincerely spoke: '' Of course. This night was long and tiring and I'm sure we all would like to get to the bottom of this issue''. Putting his crossbow back into the sack, he smiled at the guard and carried on:'' We will come with you willingly as long as you will allow us to bring our weapons. You see, I and my crew don't know what to expect once we arrive and you out all people must understand how someone in charge must think of the safety of those below him''. Bowing mockingly when the prince approached, he awaited the royal guard's response with a lukewarm grin. For all, he knew they were apprehending them to execute them. At least if they were permitted to bring weapons, that would suggest that they weren't planning on killing them right away.
Quinn

@EurmalEye@akirashadow@snickerdoodly

Quinn was aggressively highlighting random phrases in the book as if she wanted to make the text disappear under the bright neon orange ink. Less than ten minutes passed and her resolve to study had already vanished. She stared at the page blankly, unable to retain any of the information. Secretly, the girl considered throwing the whole book away as an excuse not to do the assignment. Soon enough though she was brought out of her daze by a notification coming out of her bag. Lazily, Quinn took out her phone to check the notification but paused when she heard the boy speak.

'' That's so nice of you!'' admitted Quinn while smiling at Erik, '' Honoured to meet you, I am Quinn''. It was rare to find someone who seemed selfless enough to share their notes with strangers. At that moment, she managed to recall that Erik was in both of her additional classes. Hopefully, they could become friends- she needed someone to talk to during the more boring lectures. Speaking of becoming friends, she noticed Tyler entering the courtyard. She enthusiastically waved at him, genuinely happy to see the boy again, before glancing at the dog owner Erik was talking to. While she wasn't a big fan of furry animals herself, she could admit the dog was cute. Turning her body fully to face the girl, she asked pleasantly: '' And who are you?''

Marcus

@Utrax

Well, all of this certainly went south. Marcus could feel the guard's glare at him, but dumbly he answered: '' Technically, I could be both seeking revenge and be returning home. For all you know I could've found the killers and dealt with them already''. For once he was running out of ideas and found himself at a loss. It was nice to know that the prince's parents, for some strange reason, considered them guests although it made this whole ordeal more suspicious. Pointing his crossbow at the prince, slightly intimidated, he inclined his head towards the ship and spoke confidently: '' Investigate the ship if you wish to. I can assure there will be nothing but the objects left behind by my deceased crew''.

Head Guard Val

@Utrax

Val was tired of this entire charade and so were his men, so he stepped in before Marcus could continue, taking a second to point the captain's crossbow away from the prince: ''Ignore him, your highness, he's just a man trying to protect his group of... friends for a lack of a better word. Read the letter and all shall be revealed''. He tossed the letter to Tol, no longer bothering with pleasantries. Without checking if the prince caught it, he turned to the other guard and asked a question he had on his mind ever since he skimmed through the letter: '' How are we to escort this gentleman and his associates back to the castle?''

Quinn

Quinn nearly dropped her phone from shock during the announcement. It was louder compared to her previous school and she needed a second to recover. Taking a look around, she noticed some of the students entering the building. Her assumption was somewhat correct- they were most likely having a meeting about starting to recruit new members for the two groups mentioned. While Quinn wasn't in any of those positions before, she thought they sounded rather intriguing. It must be nice to do something for the school. The girl took notice of the boy she saw yesterday on her way to the cafe before taking off her bag and opening it. Stashing her phone away into her bag, she caught a glimpse of her schoolbooks and her face immediately soured. She was too tired for this.

Leaning back onto the grass, she pulled out her English book and half-heartedly began highlighting the information about Bram Stoker. It was the longest assignment in her opinion and she could at least attempt it before giving up.
Anya

@Blade17@Squirrel98

Anya scanned the area, trying to figure out what to do. If someone were to invade the ship, the obvious choice would be to defend it but the captain clearly wanted to create an illusion that the ship was abandoned. Her eyes rested on Marcus' quarters. It was above the deck and it was slightly larger than the other quarters due to the fact that it was where the crew gathered to come up with any plans. Luckily, it also housed a number of weapons and some of Marcus' personal items that could no doubt come in useful. Additionally, the door had a window that would allow the crew to monitor the situation outside. It was stained glass so it was unlikely that an enemy would notice that someone was inside at a first glance.

'' If Marcus wants us to hide, then we shall.'' she declared, glancing at Hope with concern. Maybe she would calm down once they were away from the commotion, '' Everyone, let's head to the captain's quarters. That way, if he needs help, we can get to him in time.''

Trying to keep her cool, she walked up to the door and pushed it open. Holding it ajar, she waited for everyone else to enter.
@snickerdoodlyIt's up to you. If you go with the second one, just give a brief summary of the morning.
@snickerdoodly Accepted. Also welcome to the guild :)

At first, no one would notice it but the school was filled with various speakers, which were most often used to notify students where to go during emergencies or inform them of when a building would be off-limits for a short period of time. The speakers were loud and thanks to their high quality, the transmissions were always clear and impossible to miss. Often an annoyance during exam periods, they were hated by the majority of the school but no one dared to damage them in fear of being punished. No one really knew from where the messages were recorded, with the most popular theory being the principal's office from whom most of the messages came from. An hour after the lessons ended, a tune familiar to the upperclassmen rang out and soon the voice of the vice-principal boomed out, demanding for the attention of all students:

'' The lecture halls and gym are closed for all students except the last year's student council and prefect committee until the end of the day. I repeat, the lecture halls and gym are closed for all students except the last year's student council and prefect committee until the end of the day''
