Physical Appearance:6'0'' with the physique of a dandy, Atticus has big, black, wavy hair that bobs with his every moment that's been combed back into the latest fashion and a pencil style mustache. Despite his pale complexion his every movement is jubilant and charged with energy, as if he were a walking caricature. While it is by no means finery, Atticus' 'work clothes' consist of a faded three piece tailed charcoal suit with a deep purple cravat. Unlike most of everything else in the city Atticus manages to somehow remain clean. Or at least on the outside.

Strengths:
Sharp as a tack- Despite very little formal schooling Atticus seems to have quite the astute mind, able to create all sorts of inventions and tonics seemingly on the fly with the never...rarely...usually not exploding at key points.
Devil in Disguise- If there's one thing that Atticus will tell you (and he will tell you) it's of all the marvelous feats he's acomplished simply with his wit, charisma and on occasion, lovely singing voice. He'll charm the pants off of you, and sell them back at a markup price.

Weaknesses:
Arrogance- Atticus likes to act like a noble and is a bit too accurate in it. Unfortunately he does not have the status to keep him from getting a pounding for whatever rude things he may have let slip this time.
Lover not a fighter- Too put things simply, Atticus is bad in a fight, and a bit of a coward. Unless he's got the element of surprise he'd rather run from a fight than face direct confrontation.

Skills:
Magic!- Prop building, sleight of hand, escape tricks, mentalism, chemistry, Atticus doesn't just do tricks, he performs illusions that beguiles and bewilders the audience
Magic?- Perhaps there is more to what Atticus is doing. Perhaps what he says aren't just lies, maybe he really can force the fundemental laws of reality to bend and break at his beck and call. Of course not, it's all just an act...right?

Languages: arcane, high-speech (socialites, aristocrats) common

Gear: Caravan wagon filled with props and costumes, chemistry set, tarot cards, playing cards,lock-pick set, weaponized cane that can shot variety of projectiles such as smoke bombs or darts.

Background: Every time someone asks about Atticus' past, he regales them with a new and even more exciting tail of how his ancestor was a noble knight who defeated a demon destroying the country side by seducing her and having a child giving him the 1/64 blood that allows him to perform sorcery and many other equally ludicrous tales. While it's hard to pin down any solid answers, judging on his profession and income it would be safe assumption that he was the son of a seamstress who told him fanciful tales to distract him from their abject poverty, and further still, that he had at one point been a member of one of the numerous thieves guild composed of urchins.

Ran his own gang for a while as a chaos magician until Azetechnology scooped him up and sent him off to some uni in Europe. Locke: Well he's dependable, and he doesn't snitch or sell-out other members. Can be a bit arrogant but he keeps it professional with the Johnsons and in the field. Mostly.

Locke: I've seen him do it once or twice but he rarely does it. He's a jack-of-all trades type though he doesn't use spirits as much as others and focuses on other things like infiltration, combat and utility spells.

War-luck: Why not?

Locke: I never asked. Why is there all this curiosity?

Jackknife: Trogd0rk was talking about how he got some black magicians to ice themselves.

Locke: Oh, do you mean that incident in San Francisco?

Trogd0r: Yeah, the one where he used their own blood against them to blow up their hideout.

Trogd0r: So how is he running the streets if he's ex-Azzie? And why does he go by Smoke?
Locke: I assume by bribes. Those vials of blood that Aztechnology use for their higher level staff needs to be replaced. You can only put so much anti-coagulant in it before the blood is too diluted and you need a fresh batch. As for Smoke it has something to do with Tezcatlipoca though he doesn't worship any gods. At least not that I know of. It's all very non-sequitur. Anyway some people have come in to look at some artifacts so I have to run. And speaking of running; Digging into people's past is a good way to end up in an early grave, even by our standards. And serving up hot information about other runners won't earn you any friends, Trogd0r. I highly suggest you stop doing so immediately.

Name: Ramon "Smoke" Ramirez

Appearance: About as scruffy as an elf can get, Smoke's body is covered in a plethora of occult tattoos that only stop at his wrists and his collar bone so that he may have some semblance of professionalism when doing business such as when talking to a Johnson.

Class/Specialization: Magician/Infiltration
Backstory: Being of the first generation of metahumans Ramon found what would most likely have already been a hard life even harder living in the slums of Mexico-city. The son of a mechanic and a nurse, Ramon found it hard to stay on the straight and narrow as he constantly faced persecution from those around him and wound up in the gang life. After nearly being brained by a rival gang's member Ramon's powers first manifested in a smatter of gore that reduced his would be killer to a pulp. While initially-terrified he became obsessed with learning more and more as stories from across the world spread about the return of magic. Not partial to any sort of religion or culture in general, Ramon sought out whatever would give him new results thus labeling him as a chaos magician. As his knowledge and powers grew, Ramon lead his own gang of meta-humans until he picked up enough steam to be seen by Aztechnology. Eager to leave the gang life and provide for his parents he signed on the dotted line and got not only a great paying job, but a full ride to a university in the Allied German States. While for some time the surprisingly quick-witted boy worked as a lab-assistant for research the higher ups vetting his background realized that he was better suited for a different position and assigned him to corporate sabotage where he would spy, steal, and even kill for his employers. For some years Ramon lived happily like this, until for reasons only known to him, he quit the corporate life. For the past seven years Ramon has been an active shadowrunner going under the moniker, Smoke.
Personality: Due to the enviorment that he was raised in, Smoke has some prejudices against non-metas and the rich while Smoke was a very angry person growing up, he has learned to deal with his prejudices, or at least keep them from getting in the way of the job. Often dealing with his agitation through a thin veneer of sarcasm. Ironically enough he doesn't believe that awakened are innately superior to others. Just himself.

Is it obscure? Tell Tale got a lot of publicity after doing The Walking Dead game. Anyway the reason why she looks different is that like many long running comics, the artists tend to rotate, especially when it comes to cover art. What you see in the game is her most consistent look.

Would a magician/con-man/snake-oils salesman fit into this world? I'm familiar with Shadowrun and know that while it is very sci-fi you can do lots of powerful things with magic. While I'm interested either way, I'm asking what would be considered the very edge of what's feasible with magic? I don't ask out of trying to exploit or min-max but rather so I don't over-step.
