I actually ran a tabletop game of World of Darkness set in this type of setting, so I'm definitely in. Where in the world will this game be located? What are the current rules/limitations of magic? Any restrictions on character creation?

@JohnSolaris Alright, so I have read the documents restricting spirits, as well as the magic system (It's good to see structure there) but what about the political landscape? While I'm sure things like how the world governments have reacted will be mentioned later, can you tell us anything about the world's occupants? There was mention of fire elementals in the google doc, but are people rubbing shoulders with minotaurs on the subway, and if so, are they mindless beasts portrayed in myths or are the they just subject to prejudice on their daily commute to their job of trading stock?

My second question is regarding the enchantment of items. While it seems to be implicated with reference to perpetual motion machines, I want to make sure there's no ambiguity before asking if enchanting an item is a-okay, and further, if alchemy of some sort is allowed e.g. magic based human growth hormone or 'super adderall.'

Sorry if these seem a bit non-sequitur, but they are pertinent to know for the idea I have for my human character.

I hate to do this, but due to my own DMing obligations I do not have the time required to give this my full attention and will have to be dropping out. Hopefully this makes things smoother for the other players. In the mean time, apologies to @FantasyChic as we were going to do a collaboration post which got canned due to me and in the process delayed her from posting, as well as everyone else by proxy. Hopefully when my schedule is less busy we can work on something in the future

Old World of Darkness?

While I mostly know Chronicles of Darkness (or nWOD) I do however know a bit of Mage: The Ascension if they're acceptable.

Whether I or my preferred module are welcome or not, I've got a large amount of New World of Darkness files including: Changeling, Geist, Hunter, Mage, Promethean, Vampire, Werewolf, misc and even Mind's Eye theatere (for larping) that I can give to you via skype. In fact, if anyone else is interested in this deal, PM me doing so and I can send the files.

As for the reason why I have the files, it's because I am currently running a mixed bag campaign which, while chaotic, is surprisingly fun, and not as confusing as oWOD as the systems are much more similar (e.g. numina/gnosis/blood tinge being basically the same) And while some types of characters might seem overtly powerful such as werewolves, others such as vampires and mages can show off in non combative ways that can be quite impressive if you give them a chance.

Good to know, as I naturally rolled a 10.

But as for teams, are we breaking the two up as intended, and if so, should we instead have an entirely separate roleplay for the second team? I only ask because having the two in one thread would not only make things confusing, but extend how long it takes before people can reply. If we're worried about being out of the loop for the story (despite it being metagaming) we can always subscribe to the other thread so everyone stays caught up.
