Oh, and I completely forgot to ask - are Puppeteers fully corporeal outside of their Mannequins or are they able to walk through walls?
Quick question, Amaya - can my upcoming Puppeteer be the one from your backstory? I really like the idea of my Puppeteer having attempted to claim you as a Marionette and now having a great interest towards Amaya specifically (the sort that involves toying with her plaything over a prolonged period of time, rather than actually attempting to inflict any permanent physical injuries).
I'm fresh out of bunnies, so here's an adorable cat for y'all

Also, stylish action sounds right up my street :)
Judging by Gateway's design, that makes at least four of us :P Awesome show <3
I'm planning on using this one for my Puppeteer's Doll Hunter marionette - it looks like the original picture was taken down from the website, annoyingly, but the preview on Google is good enough quality.

Edit: fixed it

I was considering making a Doll Hunter with either the equivalent of a Pneumatic Jackhammer (Instead of firing the nail, the gun shoves it forward, stops it before it leaves the barrel, then pulls it back) or primitive fragmentation grenades.

There's no problem with that being in period either - they put one together in 1903 in our timeline, so you don't even necessarily need to go into a high-tech character like Gateway if you don't want to.

I must admit, the Hornet's Sting sounds like an awesome name :P

@Ardent Dawn: If the Puppeteer willingly leaves the body, the Marionette has no idea. If they're torn out the Marionette remembers.

What sort of gaps in their memory does that involve? I have a feeling that Doll Hunters would get suspicious if they have recurring gaps in their memory - I've got a few ways of handling that in mind, but it seems like a notable problem.
Do Marionettes have any recollections of what happens while they're possessed and can it vary from person to person? I like the idea of my Puppeteer keeping some of her Marionettes in the dark and allowing other to be aware of what they're doing, but that depends on what the setting would allow.
For what it's worth, I was just browsing through female Biblical names on BehindtheName and came across Carmel as part of the Virgin Mary's title. Fairly cool name by itself, and for a sculptress with 'mama bear' written all over her, I didn't feel the need to look further :P
Quick question - assuming that the ammunition that she uses doesn't possess any supernatural properties (i.e. they behave like normal nails), would it be acceptable for one of my Puppeteer's marionettes to be the Doll Hunter that first attempted to kill her? The character's concept is very much about delicious irony and provoking as strong an emotional response from each of her victims as possible (selecting a different mannequin depending on the prey she intends to stalk), so it would seem like a wasted opportunity for her not to hunt other Doll Hunters using one. I might even make sure that her Doll Hunter mannequin has white hair :P
