Your char would probably wish all mine was looking for was a meal, tbh. But I'll leave those details to the Rp.

Yeah, kind of what you said, but also durability stuff to the point where even angels/demons can cross sides for up to a month on a steady diet, though with more side effects over time and an ultimate result of needing to return to the other side. Never mind the fact the stuff I have in mind would be extremely rare (otherwise more folks would use it :P)

Ah. Double edged, then - your char is thus old enough to have heard of the things my char was accused of and pretty obviously guilty of as well. But his memory is crappy to the point where he wouldn't have to worry too much.

The Stick

Despite seeming like a simple, crappy stick from a tree, it is actually much more. As a ghostly entity, Re'Mane is unable to carry an actual weapon with him. But this stick, in one fashion or another, is bound to him. Be it to his soul or the cause of why he is still around, he isn't sure. But he has this stick. Oddly enough, it phases in and out with him and most often he can make it appear while he himself is not present. It has been known to randomly appear places- tripping a few people, stabbing someones eye out, holding open a door. If anyone ever asks, though, it is merely a 'very fickle item that has outlived its time'. Sometimes, just sometimes, it will be coated in blood.

Personality:

There are two sides to Re'Mane and anyone who has known him for longer than twenty years has at least met one of them. The first side of the coin is very common and human-like. Friendly and talkative, a bit naive. But always courteous and understanding, not wanting to step over boundaries of others or cause any emotional harm. This side is a bit desperate for connection with others, even though it is only verbal and he cant really offer up much about himself, considering he cant remember most of it. So he tries his best to avoid things like that the best he can, but it doesn't always work out. While he might be very talkative and friendly, he can be quiet as well, though it is rare.

On the other side of the coin, Re'Mane is what people would expect of a Phantom. He is restless and doesn't talk much at all, but when he does it is vague and cryptic. Or it is downright cynical and abrasive. This side cares little for the living and even less for everything else. He does seem to find some amusement in watching humans or small, overly-cute animals, that is about it. Though, if you can get past the cynical and crypticness, this side of Re'Mane isn't so bad. He is a great listener, even if he isn't really paying attention. And at the least, if you haven't upset him somehow or proven yourself annoying, he will give you warning before you run into something or nearly trip. Maybe. He might actually laugh at getting to see someone get hurt while he was there.

History:

Re'Mane is a very old Phantom, ghost, apparition, whatever you want to call him. Old enough to the point that he really doesn't remember much about how things were before he became somebody of the dead. Occasionally he will get small flashes of memory about things long past or things more recent- its hard to tell considering he has an insanely crappy memory most of the time. But what he does recall is nothing good. Something about being beheaded, demons, and a stick. And to make it worse, the only thing he is 100% certain of is the stick.

Extra

If you are looking for a face, you won't find one with Re'Mane. For one reason another, even in death, he remains without a face or most of an upper body for the most part. Not that anyone would actually know that, considering 99% of the people he meets cannot touch him to knock his hood back or anything. Even in bright lights- there is nothing there to see! But thankfully he still appears to have hands, even though they are well hidden in the sleeves of his clothing.

Lets straighten the age. Caezel old, even older (super super ancient), a little (500ish younger than Caezel) younger, or "Old" (1000 and below)?

Caezel repositioned himself to get a better view, but found that the forest was simply too dense. Even his enhanced eyes couldn't make out details at that distance through the darkness and past the many trees.

But he could tell the wingless demon without seeing him in detail. He could tell the demon general anywhere... Uriel, that was the name. It was his very purpose to avoid demons, who caused more trouble than they were worth. And one such as Uriel, while young enough to possibly be free of the prejudices older demons carried, was still a demon to be avoided. The last time he made contact with a Child of Darkness did not end well, and he wasn't sure that he was quite free of suspicion from that particular incident.

He watched, eyebrow raised as the cloaked figure ran at a speed to rival Caezel in his prime, easily outrunning Uriel. As it got closer, Caezel stiffened as he realized what should have been obvious. Angel. A young one, from the looks of it. More trouble than they were often worth, those angels. Before long a whole force of demons would be searching the forest, complicating life greatly. Angels do not simply run deep into demon lines he mused.

The angel had run in an off direction from where Caezel sat in a tree, but he was pretty sure he would be able to find it before others did. In fact, he reasoned, it could be beneficial to find the angel first. He wasn't entirely sure what he would do with one - but if nothing else, there would be few beings more beneficial to his... works than angels.

He hopped down from the tree, bones popping in his legs from the impact. Many years ago it would have been silent as a falling leaf (though that he could hear as well) but in his age he found his bones has the annoying habit of making noises. Another matter the angel could... help with. He made his way in the direction the angel went towards. He found it likely that it would be in The Patch; or at least near it, as it was certainly the best place in those parts to hide. Though that would make it a pain to find the angel unless it showed itself. He followed the direction of the last footsteps he heard, walking slowly, listening carefully and with a hand on his short blade just in case. Though considering the angel had run instead of fought, it would be more likely to hide than anything else. Just don't push it into a corner... He knew the danger of facing an angel cornered.
