Make experiments conclusive to the components of the gem.
Due to a lack of materials to perform experiements with, Derilah cannot do much.
After attempting to scratch the gem with a coin, she concludes the gem has a Mohs mineral hardness higher than 3, and after breathing on the gem and sniffing it, she concludes the gem isn't made out of clay, as it doesn't smell like clay.
Little information with little usefulness, really.
Attempt to eat a random item from the inventory.
Item Index Roll (1d6):
1Derilah attempts to eat her cap, but it is too big for her mouth, so she simply gives up and puts it back on her head.
The guard seems to be getting used to all the weirdness. Either that, or he has given up on trying to find any satisfactory reason behind it, and so remains quiet of mouth and mind alike.
Ask the Guard what his name is, ignore what answer he gives and rename him Clyde.
Derilah stands up and turns around, looking at the guard.
Ask Clyde where the sages are whilst attaching the radioactive stone to your broom
Strange...
Examine how safe the ladder looks. Maybe ask Clyde about it.
Ignore how safe the ladder is and cannonball down the hole.
Derilah has difficulty deciding between both options, as they just sound so good in her head (equal votes), and so decides to pick one randomly.
Decisiveness Roll (1d2):
1Derilah walks closer to the ladder and examines it. It seems very stable itself, but Derilah's unsure about how well it might be supported.
For a moment, Derilah wonders what would happen if the ladder were taken from its place and deployed somewhere else. Of course, nothing too special would likely happen...
Make sure self doesn't die.
That's Derilah's instincts' job, and you can be sure they're currently at work. Of course, big part of what happens to her will depend on her
