I want to write, but don't ever seem to have the drive anymore. Every time I come back to this place and pop in to see how things are going, I want to come back. But I just can't seem to stick around.

At this point I think it’s safe to say I hate college, since I’m in my graduating semester with 6 classes, but I’m also pretty anxious about whatever will happen once I’m finally done.

That last month of the semester hit me real hard, but so begins the recovery process. I just want to chill out for a bit without having to think about another academic paper...

It's been 4 years so I may as well put something in here, right?
I tend to enjoy worlds verging on the bleaker side of things, not really sure why. I like 'em gritty and somewhat grounded, with a reasonable amount of realism (fun takes priority though, ofc). I guess I just like having a sense that defeat is right around the corner, though overwhelming odds are always best saved for those wonderful moments when everyone feels like a total badass regardless of victory or defeat.
I've really wanted to find an RP set in the worlds of Red Dead, Hunt: Showdown, For Honor, the Metro series, and a few others I can't remember at the moment. Any time I look I come up empty-handed, but I'd still like to find one.

Edit: I think this RP is so much better for not having our heroes act as victorious champions after the battle but instead as humans recovering from a painful ordeal.
Yeah, this RP has been pretty good about keeping it gritty and dark. We could probably do with a comedy relief segment sometime soon, like we all go to a fucking carnival or something.

Unaware that Eva was following him, John made his way to the Garage with Seth in tow. Avoiding as many guards as possible while incapacitating the rest, John finally arrived to the garage. What he saw when the door opened left him in a bit of shock...Pariah's bloody body with a brutally beaten head...he never thought he'd ever see her die...then again, he had the perfect opportunity to do the same only minutes earlier. But she wasn't just killed, her skull was brutally smashed...whoever did this was powerful...and very possibly crazy. Suddenly the situation when Cia's demeanor suddenly changed back when Pariah first captured Jessica flashed through John's mind, but he denied it. No...no she wasn't that crazy when she smacked me...she could've killed me but she didn't... He thought, spotting the rest of his team across the garage and hurrying towards them.
There were several other bodies laying about the garage, but none as brutally killed as Pariah...and even though John could understand why, he still didn't think it was right. He just couldn't get the sight out of his head, he never thought she'd be one to die like that. He then looked behind him in the direction of her corpse, noticing that Eva was following behind him. "Oh...you were one of the prisoners...well if you're coming with us, then hurry up. We gotta go!" He said, motioning for the girl to come on as he turned to face the others. That's when he saw it...his heart began to race as he saw the bits of splattered blood on Cia's mask. It was all he needed to confirm his suspicions, whether it was truly Pariah's blood or not didn't matter. Jesus...Fucking...Christ! She could've done that to me!...Wait...she could still do that to me! John's mind raced as he tried to act calmly, pushing Seth into back of the armored DMA truck. "Let's get the fuck out of here..." He said, his voice quivering slightly.

Nah cloth and thin leather at the max for the fingers because the barbs are short so she mostly goes for the neck or exposed skin. The fangs are another story, they are pretty sharp and strong so the more pressure she bites down with the better. I'd say like 1/4inch of metal is the max her fangs can get through but that's when she goes try hard.
Well I guess that means Ijō can at least shake her hand.
