I apologize for dropping off the face of the earth for a few months. A lot of personal issues came up. Trying to get back into the swing of things.

To my RP partners: I had a cognitive evaluation today and it kicked my ass. I'll get my replies out tomorrow. Today I just need sleep.

Lex lost site of the foot prints and decided to go the way she assumed anyone would go had they just seen what she did. She made a couple turns through the tree and after a couple minutes she could hear voices. The deeper she got the darker everything seemed to feel. The whole aura of the place sent chills through her spine. She tried to figure out which direction the voices were coming before pausing. "What if I run into whoever started that lake," she asked herself aloud, "what if they think I'm so crazy murder?" She glanced down at her attire, it would take forever to get the smell of blood off her and she would need to throw these clothes out. She quickly got lost in her thoughts when she noticed the two voices were extremely closer. There was nowhere for her to hide except up a tree, but she wasn't a skilled climber. All she could was stand there covered in other peoples blood and hope they didn't think the worst.
@Letmehaveone2 How spaced out are the starting places? Essentially I'm asking could Lex take a wrong turn and end up in the creepy forest where your people are at
Lex jumped up as she heard a scream in the distance. She rubbed her eyes and looked around to see if she could recognize the place she was in. Nothing about it seemed familiar and she had no idea how she ended up where she had. The screaming continued and a breeze brought the smell of rust to her noise, which she automatically knew was blood with the amounts of times she'd been around it in fights. She made the choice to follow the smell over the noise. The last thing she wanted was to follow somebody that might have a psychopath on his heels, but she was too curious to not see where that stench was coming from.

After a couple minutes of walking she stumbled upon the lake of blood. She held her nose and tried to breathe through her mouth, but that was worse. She began to taste the smell. She gagged as she walked close to the lake. She noticed a body just floating on top and started to rethink her idea of not going after the person. "Who in the world has this much time on their hands?" she said aloud to herself. Her real thought was how many people did it actually take to get this much blood. She was at the edge now leaning over to see if she could find any more bodies when she lost her balance and toppled over splashing into the blood. She let out a small yelp as she tried to maneuver her way to back to the land. She could taste blood in her mouth and it nearly made her puke. When she finally pulled herself out she allowed herself to throw up everything she had in her stomach, including the blood she had swallowed by accident.

With her whole body drenched and smelly she walked away from the lake and attempted to hunt down whoever had obviously seen this before her. She ran through the forest following the foot steps left behind by the stranger.

Shiloh sat on the bus thinking about earlier that morning when she found the letter slid under her door inviting her to learn about her powers, to train basically. She touched her hair and shivered. The only thing she recalled from last night was drinking a little too much and then waking up freezing cold with white hair in place of her brown with an ice box for a room. She looked out the bus window watching the scenery. Shiloh had on about three layers and she still the felt coldness inside her bones. It felt like it was creeping into her soul. She was too scared to actually panic in fear she might freeze something else. The bus came to a stop and she got off quickly. She pulled her the hood on her coat up and began to walk the rest of the way to house.

As she neared she could hear what sounded like fighting go on. She followed the noise confused, until she came across the group. Her heart began to beat uncontrollably fast at the site of the wolves. It felt like she was watching a movie instead of real people. Before she knew it the air around her began to chill slowly spreading. The floor around her began to turn to ice as she watched the violence unfold in front of her. "There is no way this is could be what they call training" she thought to herself.

Name: Shiloh Kane
Age: 17
Power: Ice
Gem: Quartz
Appearance:
Bio: Shiloh used to spend her days skipping school and staying out late to avoid confrontation with anyone. She didn't have any friends because people thought she was weird. Her parents and her always fought no matter what she did. Shiloh felt like she had to isolate herself from everybody. She eventually ran away at the early age of 16 and spent a lot of time bouncing from job to job and would have to rent disgusting cheap rooms from people in order to keep off the streets. One day she woke up and her entire room was covered in a thin layer of ice and she had a gem on the back of her neck and her brown hair had turned white.
Hm... as I said before, probably somewhere civilized, but given the horrific nature of the rest of these areas, it'll likely be dangerous as well, and it'd be best not to trust anyone in that town... After all there should probably be a place wherein people can resupply, get their wounds treated, rest, etc.

I agree with this one. Our characters are already going to be paranoid, this could add to it. Another thing, are our characters all spread at a different start point or do some of them start out together?

@HylianRose OH! Okay I understand now.
I vote second option simply because I hate being dictator. However, it might also be cool to do a randomized vote. Each character or couple could get a possibility of 500 votes. And then the first half of the randomized list gets essentially thrown out and then I tally the remaining to decide the winner.

Does anyone know of a better/more efficient way of essentially doing the same thing?

I understood up until the section about here "And then the first half of the randomized list gets essentially thrown out and then I tally the remaining to decide the winner. " could you better explain that part
