Jun blushed a little as she caught his eye. His smile was innocent like that of a child with no ulterior motive. His brothers were very out there in personality, but he was a closed book she wanted to crack open and digest. She tried to think back to the first time she had seen him. It was her first day at the school her sophomore year and he was by himself at his locker. He had been looking around when she noticed the most curious about him. She was instantly captivated by his eyes. Her mother had always told her when she was little that the eyes were the windows to the soul, and his looked extremely inviting. She wasn't sure why nobody gave him the time of day until she heard the rumors in the hall about him being cursed. She couldn't deny that he appeared to be the black sheep out of his family, but she never believed in curses.
She smiled back at him debating whether or not she should try and converse with the kid. He was a little older than her, but since she skipped a grade by in elementary school she was in the same grade as him. She hesitated a moment before standing up and slowly making her way over to him. She could feel people staring at her, whispering a little about him. Nothing friendly. She shot a glare one of the guys who kept referring to him as the devils child. If there was one thing she couldn't stand it was people picking on someone for no reason other than boredom or to fit in with the crowd. She was a couple feet away from him and her heart was jumping around her chest. "Am I really going to take the risk at being an outcast with this guy?" she thought to herself.
She took her headphones off and hung them around her neck. Jun looked him straight in the eyes, still to this day intrigued by their colors. She was very aware of how the library seemed to grow completely silent as people waited to see if she would join their team or stray into a friendship with Kento. "I...I like your eyes," she said simply.
