Hi everyone! I'm Nate. He/him.

I'm from Canada and a few of my favourite passtimes are reading, writing, and surfing the Internet. I also really like watching anime and have recently finished watching SNK. I came here after the staff on Moshi Monsters shut down the forums. I was part of a category called RES, and my username on there was cestlamort.

As of yet, I'm not involved in any roleplays here. I'll probably stick to 1-on-1 though because there's less pressure to have a paragraph typed up in five seconds. I really enjoy roleplays that take place in the real world but have bits of fantasy or sci-fi mixed into them, but I'm not afraid to try a new genre. I might try getting into historical fiction roleplays as well ^-^

In a roleplay partner I'm looking for someone that is a bit more lax with the time it takes to reply but is able to post around 4+ days a week. For me, roleplaying is an interest that fluncuates a bit--some days I'll be able to have a three hour rp session but then a couple days later I might not be in the mood, so someone that is willing to put up with that would be ideal. Someone around my age (13) who typically uses characters between 14-21 might also be best because those are the ages I use most often for mine.

Anyway, hi! I'm kind of debating between a prefered name at the moment, I can't decide whether I like Nate or Nat better. Well, really, I like Nate better but my pronouns are they/them and Nat is gender neutral. So I might sort of toggle in between the two for a while, but feel free to call me whichever until further notice. I'm 13 and from Canada. I've been into roleplaying since I was around eight and the site I used until recently was called Moshi Monsters. Unfortunatly the forums part of the site was shut down for an "overhaul" in September (and haven't reopened yet) and thus a lot of us went our separate ways. We have a site that 50-ish of us have moved to but roleplays move pretty slowly there.

I prefer mostly 1-on-1 roleplays because I struggle to come up with a decent reply quickly. Once an open roleplay (I'm not sure if that's the right term, but I mean with more than two roleplayers) I joined had moved on three pages before I posted my first comment xD I try to make characters who are part of some sort of minority, usually LGBTQ+ characters. I have a favourite character to roleplay named Nathaniel (I didn't name him after me or vice versa, I just thought the amount of syllables in the name went nicely with his last name, Couture). 

This is getting pretty long right now so I'll just cut it off right here and ask if someone might be willing to show me the ropes because I'm certain that this site is run in a more structured way than what I'm used to.
