Evelina is the Royal Protector for Prince Bellarino. She has had the job for the past six months and only took the job because she is actually one of the many spies for the rebellion that has infiltrated the royal castle. Evelina and her siblings, along with many others, were taken captive by wizards in The Under when she was younger. It was a horrible time in her life and she remained a prisoner until a man named Seraphion rescued the group. Evelina then decided she wanted to join the rebellion. During her time in the rebellion she met Seraphion's son, Angiel, and they began an on and off relationship together around 20 years ago. Marriage is uncommon in The Under and neither of them are interested in it, but they have a daughter together named Angelica. Evelina is very protective of her while Angiel is incredibly lenient with her, so their conflicting parenting styles constantly clash and most of their arguments are about how to raise their daughter. Evelina raised Angelica most of the time because Angiel took on a job as an undercover knight, but now that Angelica is old enough not to need a parent constantly around, Evelina accepted the job to be an undercover protector. Because nobody else wants the job, she was quickly promoted to royal protector for Prince Bellarino.

She is mostly unaffected by the bratty prince's attitude and harsh comments towards her because she has been through worse things in her life so a spoiled brat certainly won't hurt her. Evelina rarely shows emotions around him and has learned how to put up with both of the twins, usually by ignoring their rudeness. Evelina harbors a great resentment towards Belbood, her charge's pet bunny, because Bellarino always forces her to groom the damn thing.

Marigold is the daughter of a respectable family and she grew up learning how to act graceful and feminine. She was tutored to be knowledgeable in not only magic and manners, but the fine arts. She excelled in music and Marigold adored singing. She dreamed of singing for the theater while she was growing up, but at the time was incredibly shy, so she only sang when she thought nobody was listening.

One night while she was at a party being hosted in the castle, she got bored of dancing and decided to take a stroll in the gardens. While observing the roses, Marigold began to sing quietly to herself out of habit. To her surprise, after she finished with her song, she heard a single applause behind her. She turned around and saw Prince Bellerophon smiling at her and, before she could say anything, the prince started complimenting her song nonstop. Marigold found herself too flustered to speak properly to the young prince, especially when he started his obvious flirting.They soon parted ways after a pleasant conversation, but not before Bellerophon grabbed a nearby rose and cast a spell to turn it into gold and gave the flower to her as a gift.

She received an invitation from Bellerophon a few days later asking if she wanted to accompany him to an event. It was after that date that the two of them started keeping in regular contact with each other. They developed a friendship and she felt lucky just to even know the prince on a first name basis, so the day when Bellerophon gave her the most beautiful golden jewelry she had ever seen Marigold felt shocked that he initiated a courtship. She nervously accepted the jewelry but she was still happy because as far as she knew, the prince has casually dated in the past but he had never taken those relationships seriously. Bellerophon spoiled her with all kind of material objects she had only ever dreamed of owning and by taking her on romantic dates. Bellerophon proposed to her after a year of dating and she happily accepted the prince's proposal but they never got the chance become married. A few months before their planned wedding, Marigold fell into a mysterious coma and nobody has any idea what exactly happened. She had been alone in her room the night she was attacked but the mess in her room indicated that there was struggle. It was concluded that she was attacked by an intruder and placed under a powerful spell. The intruder was eventually caught but confessed to not understanding why she was in a coma and that the spell had been designed to kill instantly but it backfired, so even the attacker did not know a remedy.

She never woke up and to this day, 8 years later, stays asleep in a bed at her parent's house being tended to by a healer that Bellerophon hired for her. Most of the time her body is still like a corpse and the only movement that is recorded is when she seems to be suffering from nightmares that cause her to cry out in pain. Marigold and her parents are also guarded by a Protector who Bellerophon also hired for them after he ordered her previous one to be executed for failure. While the prince only finds time to visit her occasionally and hardly ever mentions her to anybody anymore, he always carries around the golden flower he gave her almost a decade ago.

ROUGE MENASSEH

Rouge was the best friend of Prince Belial before her death. She was born into an upper class family, but she enjoyed wandering into town and helping out the poor. She didn't like to see people suffer and after getting to know many commoners, became disgusted with how they were treated. Since she was still a child, the most she could do was give some of her allowance to people but she dreamed of someday becoming a member of the wizard council so she could help everyone.

Her mother was a friend of the queen and Rouge sometimes tagged along during visits. On one of those visits she met Belial while he was on his way to play in the forest and they became fast friends, despite their conflicting personalities. Rouge was sweet and respectful, but she was not afraid to speak her mind and she disapproved of Belial's rudeness and selfishness. She often acted as his conscience and would argue with him whenever he was being mean without a good reason, trying to drill it into his head that a prince was supposed to take care of his subjects and Rouge used to drag him to town to get him to know the commoners in an effort to fix his attitude. She was bossy, which drove her best friend crazy, but they always enjoyed each other's company and often played games or practiced magic together.

Her life was cut short when her family was attacked in the middle of the night and the assailant murdered her and her parents. Belial did not take her death well at all, and claims he sees Rouge's ghost and that she hurts him whenever he does something bad, like how she used to scold him while she was alive.

CORDELIA SEVERA

Cordelia is a powerful wizard, though thankfully not strong enough to have her exiled and stripped of her magic. Her legs are incredibly strong to where she can kick through walls, run at fast speeds, and jump ridiculously high but strangely her arms are super fragile. Cordelia has broken her arms at least twenty times in her life while her legs have literally broken furniture in half without effort and without a scratch.

She really wanted to become a protector but she wasn't accepted at first due to her arms. Cordelia then tried again a few years later after some self training, purposely broke her arms, then proved she could fight and win despite her weakness. She became the protector for various council members over the years before getting reassigned to Prince Belladon. At first she was excited to have the honor of protecting the next king, but then she actually met him, and now she prays to Oz everyday that she will get a new assignment. Cordelia has given up on that dream, though, and now lives her life being treated horribly by the prince. She wants to stand up for herself, but Belladon terrifies her, so she usually obeys him without much complaint.

She was given secret orders to also report any suspicious behavior he does and dutifully updates her superiors if she notices anything. Because of the queen's loyalty potion, that of course Cordelia has no clue about, she doesn't bat an eyelash over revealing any of Belladon's secrets to Belzeneff.

One night he was found unconscious by Rodrigo Armando and taken to a shop run by a man named Angel. When he woke up, he had no memories, so he was given the name Ethan and he decided to work with Rodrigo in Angel's shop. It did not take long for Ethan to realize that working for Angel meant being given ridiculous jobs like tracking down magical objects or going through the shadow realm to locate a missing cat. Not long after he started working for Angel, Ethan realized he had strange abilities. He has the ability to sense a person's thoughts, feelings, memories, and even take on their personalities with just one touch. Odd things happen often around him and Rodrigo but, almost like magic, their luck somehow pulls them through and they manage to survive.

After dealing with so many weird assignments, Ethan takes things in stride and tries not to freak out about whatever Angel wants them to do. Most of the time Ethan is polite and tries to act responsible, but things rarely work out the way he wants and he becomes easily frustrated. If he uses his power too much in a short amount of time, Ethan begins feeling confused, and all of the different personalities make him act unstable and his personality will switch at random until his power wears off.

His true identity is Jordon Parker. The beloved son of Jamie and Annabelle Parker, Jordon grew up in a fabulously wealthy family because of his grandfather's fortune. Jordon always did everything he could to be seen as a perfect son in his family's eyes and also stressed himself out trying to maintain his image. He tried his hardest to attain good grades in school and secretly cried himself to sleep any time he got a B. He also played on the basketball team for his first two years before he gave up the sport because he felt that something was wrong with him.

He felt constant headaches and he almost considered going to a psychologist because he felt that he was imagining people thinking things about him, sometimes bad things. Sometimes, he felt as if his personality would change or that he would daydream random memories of people at random moments. But he never admitted his problems to his parents and tried to deal with his troubles alone. Jordon could not handle his life of playing perfect while struggling with what he believed was either "strange powers" or him "going crazy" and panicked so he ran away at the age of 17. He could not bare the thought of his parents thinking he was insane.

Jordon, like the rest of his family, had no idea that he was descended from a wizard and never realized that the strange happenings were his magic going haywire. His drive to be perfect manifested his magic into abilities that would help him with his goal and he unconsciously channeled his magic through touch. After he ran away from home, Jordon's strong desire to not be found by his parents kept him hidden and protected him. His magic obeyed his will but, because he is only 1/4 wizard, Jordon lost his memories as a consequence of using too much magic. He was found by Rodrigo and, since he no longer remembered his name, Jordon was renamed Ethan.

Katamari is the optimistic older brother of Kimiko. When he was in high school he was a part of SEES alongside his friends and he was the main healer of the team until he quit in order to go to college to pursue a career in medicine. Katamari's best friend is Shino and he visits him all of the time in the library.

SUBARU KURURUGI One of the persona users working with Gabriel's team, Subaru fought against shadows to protect the city. He was discovered by Ludwig's team and marked for assassination but thanks to Ichiro's interference, he was saved from Akito's fatal attack. After being brought to a healer type persona user, Katamari, Subaru was brought back to stable condition and left to go home. However, Subaru was mysteriously found dead the next morning, and it is suspected he was killed by shadows but nobody knows yet for sure.

KIYOTAKA SANADA

Kyoya's younger brother and heir to the Sanada family, Kiyotaka is cordial but intimidating. On the surface he gets along quite well with his brother and cousin Shinji, but deep down he resents both. He despises Kyoya for abandoning the family and he is jealous of how Shinji is more beloved than him. At first these feelings were minimal and he still cared for both, but one night he started experiencing the dark hour and gained his own persona, and Kiyotaka changed for the worst. He kept his persona a secret and began plotting on how to use the shadows to his advantage, and Kiyotaka became corrupted to the point where he started planning to kill Kyoya and Shinji. Thanks to his independent research on shadows, he managed to capture and enslave a humanoid shadow named Mosca.

Kyoya is famously known as Kyoya Legacy, a popstar who is adored by many fans. But before Kyoya devoted his life to music, he was the leader of SEES as well as heir to a mafia family. He quickly grew tired of a life full of fighting and felt depressed just thinking of shadows or the mafia. His life changed when his singing talent was discovered and he was offered a chance to pursue a career as an idol. Kyoya refused at first but, after a severe injury landed him in the hospital, he changed his mind and left behind his old life. He ceased contact with his family and friends for the past five years, even his close friend Tohru, but Kyoya was never lonely as he struck up a friendship with his manager Satoshi and then, in the past year, his fellow popstar Lovi Sky.

A mysterious magical bird named Hibird appeared before Kyoya a few years ago, and to this day he still has no idea where she came from or why she has powers, but she has become his devoted protector and he adores the little bird.

Jonathon is a scientist and staff member of the high school who watches over SEES. He experiences the dark hour despite lacking a persona, but he tries his best to make sure the children are safe while they fight. He is attempting to create technology that will work during the dark hour and is always nearby SEES when they set out to fight shadows to provide guidance or medical support.
